About: Use my code JULIEL80305 for $20 off your first booking! I grew up with dogs (one husky, one Aussie Shepherd), and also dogsat on the side back home in Denver. Altogether, I have at least 20 years of experience with high energy breeds. These days I'm here in DC, where I live with my boyfriend and our corgi Romeo. Romeo is highly socialized, very friendly and will treat your baby as part of the pack! Trust that your puppy will have a friend to play with, and plenty of outside time (I live next to two dog parks, and tons of wooded trails). I'm 100% remote, and often use the time to walk my doggy around the neighborhood and take him to the dog park or wooded trails nearby. My boy is very active, so we're outside at least 4-5x per day. That said, your fur baby will get lots of fun outdoor time! My family dogs have had health challenges such as epilepsy, respiratory, food allergy and back issues -- all that to say, I'm comfortable adhering to pill schedules, strict dietary requirements, and making physical accommodations for your pup during their stay. I'm very attentive towards doggos in my care, and strive to provide an environment that is safe & enriching for them!

“Stephanie took such good care of my cat while I was gone for a weekend! She gave updates with pictures and a detailed messages, and gave him plenty pets and play time!”

“Emma was extremely professional and informative while watching my two cats. I knew that they were safe and comfortable while she was watching them.”

“Cody is wonderful - he is responsive and on time, and gives my cat perfect pets. 10/10”

“Adam did a great job watching our cat while we were away. She was well adjusted when we returned, which isn’t always the case as she experiences some separation anxiety. We can tell he spent time with her and played with her. Highly recommend him!!!”

“Anna was great!! She sent the sweetest pictures of our happy cats from her visits; it was clear she worked hard on winning them over with patience, affection and Churu :) She even brought a can of her own cats’ food to give them when our delivery failed to arrive! Anna is super responsive to messages and adjusted with ease to a change in key location (and was kind about our cats’ weird needs). Our cats loved Anna and we’d absolutely hire her again!”

About: I’m a work from home finance professional and experienced dog and cat foster that has taken care of many different dog breeds and sizes. I have taken care of many dogs for weeks while friends are away as well as my sisters cat for around 6 months while she was traveling. My foster experience is mainly tied to shelters in the area bringing dogs from southern states from many different (and sometimes difficult) scenarios but it has always been a rewarding experience. I have experience training and retraining dogs but also learning and taking care of dogs according to their needs. I am currently work from home so I have the flexibility to be able to feed, take dogs on walks and play with dogs at whatever interval is needed. I am generally pretty consistent with pets so they have a routine so I love to maintain a pets routine. I have plenty of experience taking dogs on walks and Caring for them in any environment. If a dog is crate trained, I can use the crate but I am comfortable doing whatever the client needs in their home

“Sara is amazing! She’s incredibly communicative, thoughtful, and loves dogs (and cats!). She’s excellent with senior dogs—my pup Bruce is 17—which gave me so much peace of mind. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

About: A few years ago, my best friend Argus passed away. I'm sure your doggo is amazing, but Argus was truly the best. I haven't had the heart to replace Argus yet, but I have enjoyed pet sitting for friends and family. After Argus passed, my ex-wife would host pets at our house via Rover to earn some extra income and get some of that energy back in our home. I loved it. I am now ready to take my talents to Rover. Beyond caring for Argus, I have also watched a number of different pets while my friends were out of town. The animals ranged from smaller dogs like Spike (aka Spikey Bean) who belonged to a coworker, to bigger dogs like Raider who belonged to my best friend. I have also watched a cat or two in my day. Anyway, I think given my years of experience caring for Argus and other pets, I would be more than happy to help take care of your best friend as well. I have a very flexible job that only requires I be in the office twice per week, and even those days are flexible. Basically, I can work around your schedule! I live in a dog friendly building near Rock Creek Park. Typically, when watching someone dog, I like to take them out at least 3 times a day for at least a 20 minute walk each time. I also have a pretty spacious one bedroom and your dog would be more than welcome to make the space their own and snuggle up on the bed/couch, depending on their level of comfort.
