“Maria did a great job walking my dogs. She quickly developed a nice rapport with them, and I know Lucky loved his longer walks to the park, and Harley her short walks.”

“Sylvia is a trustworthy person to take care of your furry friends. I was wary of using Rover because I’ve never had a stranger take care of my dog, let alone come into my vacant apartment. Sylvia was very thorough in updating me and sending pictures/ videos of what she was doing and how my dog was doing. She was very communicative and made sure I didn’t worry about my dog. Highly recommend!”

“Minju is an excellent dog walker. My Gabriel gets so excited as it nears the time for her to pick him up! He comes back rejuvenated and lots of energy. She does an excellent job for Gabe and myself no worries!”

About: For the past 4 years, I have volunteered at an animal shelter where I worked with both dogs and cats. With dogs, I have experience with all ages, ranging from 5 week old puppies to senior dogs. I have walked and played with dogs who were the most outgoing and loving dogs, as well as the more fearful ones who needed a little extra attention before opening up to me. I have received training in understanding dog behaviors as well as how to interact with more stressed and fearful dogs, leaving me confident to care for all types of dogs. I also volunteered to take some dogs out of the shelter for one night and care for them at my apartment so they can destress out of their kennels, which gave me experience house sitting multiple types of dogs. With cats, often times at the shelter I would play with them in their cages, or I would take them out the cage and hold onto/pet them to help relieve their stress and get them accustomed to humans. At home I also have 2 senior pets I care for, a 12 year old Brittany dog and an 11 year old cat. They’re both incredibly sweet and remind me every day why I love caring for animals. Let me help take care of your furry family members—I’d love to meet them! I work as a teacher full time during the school year, so I have time after 4pm to care for your pets. However, during the summer I don't work full time so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am free anytime during the week for house sitting, dog walking, or just dropping in to visit your pet. When caring for a pet in a client's home, I will make sure to confirm all household rules that apply to their pet before starting. This includes knowing what furniture the pet can sit on, the diet of the pet, as well as how often the pet should be played with/taken out on walks.

I can provide regular brushing, bathing, and checking for mats or pests. I will observe for any signs of illness or distress and ensure medications are administered on time. “Ari was great! Deemo loves him and they had some good time together! He is very friendly to come to help over.My father is also happy to chat with him ;) we will definitely ask Ari to help again in the future.”

“Jessica walked Janie twice a day while we were out of town and Janie was staying with my mother. Jessica took pictures and sent detailed descriptions of how the walk went. My mom tells me Janie was always thrilled to see Jessica, and she always came back tired, happy, and healthy. I couldn’t ask for more.”

“After just adopting a rescue from the shelter, I was a little nervous with the whole dog walker experience. Amanda handled Oliver so well, not to mention she's very reliable which put my nerves at ease. We will be booking Amanda for Oliver's walks again!”

“Very gentle and it’s obvious she cares for animals just how slow she walk with him, knowing he’s an older dog have a 14-year-old Shih Tzu. Don’t walk very fast and she just took her time that means a lot to me not to rush him around just to get the work over with. Thank you again Rachel. See you shortly.”

About: ***LOCATED IN BAYSIDE,QUEENS*** Hi there! I love all fur babies and welcome them with open arms. I’m a firm believer that while small moments with our pets may seem minuscule to us, they are everything to them— so let’s make it count! I grew up with a cocker spaniel and recently lost my rescue pup to cancer. Due to her long treatment regimen, I feel comfortable administering oral medications. She was a jack russell mixed with a dachshund so you know training was a handful! She suffered from some separation anxiety that we trained through so I have experience with this challenge (pandemic puppies am I right?) But we still had the best time. We explored parks, she sniffed the fun smells of NY, we snuggled on the couch and played fetch every evening. Whatever your pet is into, I’m up for! I work remotely in a dog-friendly building. My job is very flexible when it comes to hours so I can do my best to accommodate nearly every reasonable scenario depending on my meeting times for that given day. However, please no bookings after 7:30pm. In terms of supplies, I do ask pawrents to please bring any necessary food, crates, toys, meds, blankets, etc. I prefer to not cross-contaminate supplies for the health and safety of all pets. All feeding times/walking schedules will be up to the discretion of the pawrent— you know your pet best! I also have pee-pads available for those puppers who are not yet fully potty trained. Lastly, my home layout is quite pet friendly. I keep bedroom and bathroom doors closed since they are out of my line of sight when I work and the kitchen/living room is an open concept. For smaller pets, I can gate away a certain area if pawrents prefer.

I have pet cameras so your loved one will always be looked after! I’m open to doing whatever it is to make sure your loved one has a comfy stay. Whether it’s couch cuddles or long walks, count me in!
