About: I’ve had experience with a handful of different cats and dogs, from walking to house sitting, I also offer pet photography alongside your service. I am a quick learner, motivated, and would love to take care of your pet. I am in the process of preparing to start animal behavioral college, where I’ll be majoring in animal training. I’m currently on a break from work until the end of August/ early September so I can accommodate to your needs and have lots of time to play with your critters. I have a fenced large open patio and yard, the perfect spot with plenty of space for your fur baby/ies. I can also stay overnight at your house, I’m open, I will always leave your home better than I found it.

About: I have pet sat for many acquaintances over the years, as well nannying which included caring for family pets. I also have two cats of my own! I am currently wfh freelancers, I have plenty of availability in my schedule to care for other peoples furry guys! I have too small of an apartment to have a dog of my own - so my own pet care would never get in the way. I play with my cats every morning and night for at least two hours a day. I believe in a healthy diet for all animals, as well as providing an enriched home life for all domesticated animals. About: I’ve done neighborhood dog care in high school for 2 years and in college occasionally take care of my friends cats while they are away. I’m a full time student at Cal but my classes are all during the morning so afternoons and evenings I am normally available to go for walks, feed, or play with pets. About: Hi! My name is Kirsten and I’m an aspiring dog trainer with the hopes to eventually become a certified professional after I’m done with my undergraduate studies. I have cared for cats and dogs of all ages since I was very young, but within the last two years, I have learned more than ever about animal behavior through training my reactive Malinois rescue and seeking professional help. I have adopted the R+ approach to training my pup and treat most of our interactions with each other as training and enriching moments. As a result, I naturally begin training any dog I meet with lots of praise and owner-permitted treats. It is crucial to me that your animals trust me and feel as comfortable as they can. As such, I take great care to ensure that any animal I’m around is comfortable with our interactions by respecting boundaries and building trust at the animal’s pace. As your fur baby’s caretaker, I will provide all of the necessary physical and mental stimulation they need to keep them happy while you’re away! I am on summer vacation with minimal obligations other than my own dog’s needs and self-study. The best times for me are late morning to midday before 5 pm when I need to head home to feed my own fur baby. I will care for your animals in your home and be respectful of your space, happy to follow all house rules that apply. I may play with your animals if they want to, but rest assured that the place will be spotless before you get home!

About: Hi, I’m Sophia! I made Oakland my home almost four years ago! Since my apartment does not allow pets, the time I get to spend with pets is extra special to me. I’ve been around animals my whole life and feel passionate about pet care and wellbeing. Walking and interacting with the dogs I’ve had has always been incredibly rewarding for me, and I want to bring my enthusiasm for dog care to others! I provide dog walking and drop-in services, with an emphasis on exploration and adventure. I love finding new walking routes and love exploring the city and trails in the Berkeley and Oakland hills. For drop-in’s I offer a personalized experience for each pet, and aim to ensure that by the time I leave they’re as happy as can be. About: I grew up with a dog that I was responsible for from a young age until my late teens. Today, I am the go-to dog care person for family and friends. I love animals but especially dogs so I decided to try expanding my skills here on Rover. I have experience helping dogs who are injured and need medicine, active, semi-active, and mellow dogs too! My current schedule offers flexibility throughout the weekdays and most weekends, which helps me balance and accommodate dog owners' various schedules/needs throughout the entire week. At your home, I am a responsible and conscientous person, who treats someone's home with care. I am adaptable to different home environments. About: I've had pets my whole life from dogs, birds, and different reptiles. I've volunteered at shelters and rescues with walking and fostering dogs. I'm very comfortable with dogs and excited to meet yours! My schedule is currently very flexible and looking to walk dogs during this time. Mornings and afternoons ideal but can also assist for evenings occasionally Safety is of utmost importance. I always make sure that pets are properly secured before leaving a property. Any codes and property are respected to ensure a comfortable experience.

About: I’ve got a toy poodle who lives in Oakland with my parents, have experience house sitting for puppies, and love spending time with pets. I’m reliable, friendly, and your dog will be in good hands :) I’m currently doing a post-bacc program, but only have classes on Mondays & Wednesdays. The rest of my week is super flexible for dog walking or house sitting, as long as I have a bit of notice. Let me know what things you’d like to work on with your dog, what your typical routine is, what to watch out for on walks, etc. and I’m happy to make sure that what I do falls in line with that. About: I am the go to for pet care, wether it’s friends/family/coworkers. My dog and cat are my priority and I treat every animal I welcome in my home as a priority. Leaving your pet with someone is terrifying (at least for me) and I ease that for everyone that I have watched pets for. I have a dog, and a cat so adding a couple more animals is not difficult. I work my schedule around my dog currently, he likes to have two walks full walks a day, sniff time throughout the day, and a feeding schedule. I am walking distance from my work, and only physically have to be there 4 hours a day 5 days a week. I live in a house with a secure back deck, that leads to a private beach. My dog is monitored while outside, and is only allowed on the deck alone while I am home. Every animal has different needs and I adjust to their schedule/needs. Basics are walks, play, and feeding. I work part time but and able to change my schedule to accommodate the needs of your pet. Their schedule is a priority when I am watching them, and I make sure I am able to meet their needs. I never let an animal off leash unless they are in a secure yard. I avoid places that have dogs off leash. I am comfortable with any safety measures you have for your animal. I work with reactive dogs, and comfortable with putting on a muzzle, I also will advocate for your dogs space and comfort.

About: I grew up in surrounded by pets and had two dogs. I have also fostered kittens and help TNR the feral cats in my neighborhood. I work a fully remote job so I would be available all day during the weekdays and I am also fully available for the weekends. I have a one bedroom apartment with lots of Sun for your pets to Sun bathe and there are no other pets at my home.
