“I’m so happy I found Eiko! I moved a lifetime of belongings from San Francisco to Oakland and had my dachshund stay with Eiko for a week. Eiko and her family provided me with the peace of mind I needed to get through the move. She sent regular photos and updates which conveyed a very happy dog. I highly recommend Eiko and won’t hesitate to use her again.”

“Thanks so much Mariola, I really appreciate you watching Chica! I was very comforted by the time you took to ask nuanced questions about Chica’s needs and behavior. Normally I’m a little stressed when Chica is with a sitter, with Mariola I was able to relax knowing she was in good hands. Thank you!! ??”

“Kristen and Ryan were very welcoming of our pup! They were understanding of her nuances and helped her adjust to a new environment fast. “Danielle was very communicative and was very attentive to Zag. She sent lots of pics and vids, said she gave him a bath when he got dirty, and took him out for sunshine and playtime. He got along very well with her super sweet pup as well. Danielle also just seemed very sweet and good with dogs!”

“Jennifer was great; lots of pictures and updates. Looked like Pickles had a great time on her cat tree and playing with the cat toys. Will definitely be sending her back over when we're out of town again.”

“Vanessa was so kind and careful with our pup Gumbo! We were extra nervous because we had to leave him with her for two weeks while he recovered from an injury. Following our vet’s instructions, she gave him his meds, restricted his activity, carried him up and down the stairs, and provided so much loving care. And she sent us lots of updates! Her pup Robin is so sweet too. We’re looking forward to Gumbo’s next stay with them.”

“Alexis and her roommate very curious to learn about Puffy as I dropped him off which was nice. They were very communicative and kept me up to date with texts and pictures. Thanks alot!”

About: I’m a Fear Free Certified Professional, currently studying animal behavior. I’ve been running my own home based doggy daycare and boarding house for four years. My care is crate-free (unless that's what your pup's preferred at-home routine is,) with regular group outings to trails and the beach. I live in a two level home where the entire downstairs and fenced backyard are just for the dogs! It’s colorfully set up as the coolest doggie social club, but the pups are welcome throughout both levels of the home. They are never forcibly isolated and almost always prefer to be close to wherever I am. I keep my client list small and personal—almost all of my dogs have been with me for years. I don’t aim to pack the house; I aim to give the best experience possible for every dog and human involved. Even when clients start as one-offs, they usually stick around—because I strive to be a resource for dogs and their families. That’s why I call this place a home away from home. If you're interested, I invite you to come by for a meet and greet—see the space, meet me, and let me meet your little one. I look forward to being your dog’s new best friend! Canine care is my daily life. The dogs are with me throughout the day—whether we’re in the yard, around the house, or out on a trail. I structure my routine around their needs, with group outings, downtime, and a consistent rhythm. If my personal life calls me away, I have an amazing assistant Alaina who steps in. She also co-runs the daycare! I focus on keeping things consistent, calm, fun, and full of bonding—play, rest, outdoor time, and enrichment are all part of the daily rhythm. Outside of daycare hours, the space functions as our home too, so dogs experience a relaxed, real-life environment, not a facility. I send updates, pictures, and videos throughout the day.

“Karen was absolutely amazing with our dog Bennett! We’ve never had such a kind and caring pet sitter that we trusted so easily! We received frequent updates and never had any doubt about the level of care our dog was receiving! I 100% recommend Karen and will definitely book again whenever we need a reliable sitter!”

“Reno had a great time with Ellie and Jurre, their cats, and the other dogs they boarded. We got regular updates, he had lots of different things to do, and they were patient with him during a lot of rain.”

“Kit was so wonderful with our dog! We had a short meet n greet in advance which was great because Kit asked really good questions to get to know our dog and how to best make her feel comfortable. Our dog can be a little anti-social but did great with Kit’s two little sweet dogs. We highly recommend giving your dog a little staycation at Kit’s lovely home.”

“It was our first time trying Rover and Keara was AMAZING. She is kind, warm, and communicative - all the things you’d want when you are trusting your furry pet with someone. She was highly responsive and sent plenty of videos and pictures of my dog each day, throughout the day. She cuddled him, played with him, took him out with her in the backpack I provided for dinner with her and just kept him great company. I couldn’t have had a better experience and would highly recommend the wonderful Keara!”

She sends us pictures and videos frequently, and Louie very clearly enjoys the time he spends with Aimee. She is reliable, communicative, and extremely flexible with our needs.
