About: Use my code JULIEL80305 for $20 off your first booking! I grew up with dogs (one husky, one Aussie Shepherd), and also dogsat on the side back home in Denver. Altogether, I have at least 20 years of experience with high energy breeds. These days I'm here in DC, where I live with my boyfriend and our corgi Romeo. Romeo is highly socialized, very friendly and will treat your baby as part of the pack! Trust that your puppy will have a friend to play with, and plenty of outside time (I live next to two dog parks, and tons of wooded trails). I'm 100% remote, and often use the time to walk my doggy around the neighborhood and take him to the dog park or wooded trails nearby. My boy is very active, so we're outside at least 4-5x per day. That said, your fur baby will get lots of fun outdoor time! My family dogs have had health challenges such as epilepsy, respiratory, food allergy and back issues -- all that to say, I'm comfortable adhering to pill schedules, strict dietary requirements, and making physical accommodations for your pup during their stay. I'm very attentive towards doggos in my care, and strive to provide an environment that is safe & enriching for them!

“My cat is overweight, and we are trying hard to keep to her diet. I always feel confident with Karin following our directions and being mindful of our kitty's best interests. The reports are excellent. We are repeat clients.”

“Daria was super attentive to our energetic boy and shy girl. I appreciate her photos, thorough check-ins, and the ability to tire out our rambunctious little one while also giving attention to our older cat. Great job and would book again!”

“This was my first time booking Emma but won't be my last. She took great care of my kitties while I was out of town. She did great with Fitz who has strong boundaries and is a smidge skittish, and played with Lizzie and her favorite toy. My kitties were super chill when I came home.”

“Nthanze was a great sitter! She was very sweet with our senior dog, very responsive and attentive and took some great photos. We will definitely be using her again!”

“Victoria unfortunately had to deal with my kitty passing away while I was away. She acted quickly and took him to the vet where he could be held until I returned the next day. I am grateful for her help and resolve to do the right thing.”

“Abigail did a great job during a drop in visit for my cat Gin. She communicated before during and after the visit and followed all instructions perfectly. Even during a slight issue with accessing my unit she continued on with the visit and was able to troubleshoot.”

“Brittani was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. She took many photos of my kitty and was very detailed in her description of each visit. My kitty loves playing with her and it made me feel so much better about leaving on my trip. Will definitely book with Brittani again! Thank you Brittani!”

About: I love pets! I’ve had my pup Sammy since he was 6 months old, cared for two senior cats for 5 years (one lived to be 20!) and have had two cats since they were kittens. I started dog walking and cat sitting in high school. Nothing brings me joy like spending quality time with animals and I will give your pet(s) as much care and attention as I give mine! I’m currently working full-time from home, so morning and evening walks and feedings work best with my schedule but I can do lunchtime visits if needed. I have several years of experience walking both small and large dogs, including ones that are aggressive and ones that are timid with other people/pets.

About: When I was growing up in South Korea, I was convinced that I had taught my dog how to write. Apparently I was wrong, but I still see our furry friends as my little sisters and brothers and love spending quality time with them. As a lifelong dog owner, I have experience taking care of dogs of all ages, from puppies to elders. Wherever I go and however I feel, meeting a dog always makes me so happy and brings a real smile to my heart. I'd be delighted to get to know your pup and make them feel right at home. I'm a teacher and I want to fill my summer vacation with dogs. I teach online classes from home over the summer, so I can give your pup the love and attention s/he needs. My schedule is flexible, so I'm also available to cover for emergencies and last minute plans. My highest priority is to treat your dog just the way you want them to be treated. My partner and I live in a quiet apartment right next to Rock Creek Park and have easy access to trails, sidewalks, and a dog park. I'm happy to come to your home as well. By default, I will probably send you too many photos of your dog during our time together (but they'll all be very cute photos, of course).

“Leah did a great job for drop in visits for our cat while we were on vacation. She kept everything neat and sent us updates on our cat and was great at keeping us informed and up to date on everything when she stopped by. She was very reliable and came to meet our cat and learn the alarm system etc before our booking dates so we felt very comfortable with everything. Would definitely recommend Leah highly.”

“Ann did an amazing job with my dog Aurora! I asked her last minute if she could do some drop by visits and she was able to work it perfectly within her schedule. During the visits, she made sure to send me photos and keep me updated! I will def be asking for her again!”

About: Words can't express how much I've loved being a pet parent and loved caring for others' pets. I've had the joy of raising my 17-year-old cat from kittenhood; raising my bulldog, who I miss dearly, from puppyhood; and taking in our alley cat to give her a safe and warm last 2 years of life. I grew up with pets (cats, dogs, and birds) in the home, and in addition to my own, I've enjoyed years of professional experience caring for others' pets. I was a professional boarder in 2008, a professional dog walker and pet sitter from 2014 to 2017, and managed a local dog walking and pet sitting company from 2015 to 2017. I'm not a certified dog trainer, but working alongside trainers has given me some skills that help pets have a positive experience away from their people. I am available for overnight boarding in my home, daycare in my home, overnight house sitting in your metro-accessible home, and drop-in visits and dog walks if you are close to my neighborhood (e.g. Forest Hills, North Cleveland Park, Tenleytown, Wakefield). I work from home, so I can keep your pet's routine consistent. I am able to provide baths upon request and I'm comfortable giving most types of medication. I know how difficult it can be to be apart from pets and to feel assured that their specific needs are met, so it is my habit to share regular photos and updates. I work from home, so I'm able to keep your pet's routine consistent. This includes meal and medication timing, timing and frequency of potty breaks, longer walks for dogs who need extra exercise, and helping to maintain house training in progress. Pets are allowed on furniture in my home, but I'm also happy to crate dogs if you prefer and enforce any no-furniture rules you may have at home and want to keep consistent. I live in a spacious 1-bedroom apartment close to Rock Creek Park, great for longer walks. The neighborhood between my building and Rock Creek Park is quiet with not much traffic.

Kukjin C.
“Kukjin is definitely the best dog sitter than you could ever ask for. She is kind, friendly, outgoing and warm hearted. When a friend asked me to take care of her little Corgi, I was nervous - I'm more of a cat person and I'm a complete beginner with dogs. So I invited Kukjin to help me out and I couldn't have made a better choice. She is the most loving and patient dog caretaker that I have even seen. My friend's Corgi is still a puppy so he was very playful. Kukjin knew exactly how to play with him. They bonded instantly and had so much fun together. She was also incredibly attentive to the puppy's needs and understood them very well. There was one night that the puppy refused to sleep and just wanted to hang out in the sofa. Kukjin played with him until he settled down and even spent the night curled up on the sofa with him. It was the sweetest thing ever! If you’re looking for someone who will care for your dog like family, Kukjin is the one. I would trust her with any dog, any time, and I can’t recommend her highly enough!”
