About: I currently work at a dog kennel in San Luis Obispo. I volunteer at the department of animal services and walk dogs that are available for adoption and I’ve worked in 3 different veterinary hospitals I have a part time job in San Luis Obispo , so I’m available in the afternoons and evenings. My days off are usually pretty open. I have 2 fenced in patios. So pets can go outside and be protected. My personal cat is able to go outside and get some sun.

Kids are in a hybrid homeschool program my husband works a remote job from home and I am a full time mom so we are in and out several times a day but rarely gone more than 30-60 mins at a time. Which means we are available for pet care at regular intervals majority of the day 7 days a week. We live on a one acre property set back from the road and fenced around the sides and back. We do have a gate that we put across the driveway at night to keep the deer out of the fruit orchard so we have the possibility of fencing the whole property by putting the deer gate up in the day. We have a separate fenced back yard off of our deck with dog door access from the living room of the house. We have 2 cats that have their own space in the garage with in and out access. And we have a 30 lb 16 year old dog named Ninja he is mellow and sweet and sleeps most of the day.

About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life, but have started officially pet sitting the past 4 years. I’ve seen many different personalities, but if your pet has certain needs or standards, I am very flexible and accommodating. I am a full time student and work different jobs. Our cat and dog are our children and they absolutely love having friends over. Max, our golden retriever is a gentle giant. He's generally quite lazy but enjoys playing with visitors for a bit. Clarke the kitty loves cuddles and mostly likes to observe all goings-on in the home. She has never scratched or been aggressive to other animals. If I am going to your home, you can expect that I take your instructions and preferences very seriously. I’m in need of some companionship this summer and would love to look after your pup! I have watched dogs with all levels of energy (husky, senior, puppy) for extended amounts of time. I have a reliable car and am extremely flexible. I would love to help you out this summer so don’t hesitate to reach out! I am a recent Cal Poly Slo graduate who moved back home. I am working jobs during the afternoons but aim to take the pups I watch on early morning walks (around 8 am) and then evening walks (around 5-6). I also make sure to bring the pups I watch to the dog beach or dog parks three times a week. I’m a big hiker and live near lots of trails so usually take dogs on those trails or around my neighborhood. I love spending time in backyards or parks to make sure the pups get adequate outdoor time. I can play fetch with them and play other games to keep them entertained.

About: I treat every animal I take care of like they are mine. All of my animals are VERY spoiled and loved and get the best quality care I can offer. I love being outside (weather isn’t a issue I’ll walk dogs in the rain/snow!). I’ve taken care of puppies that needed help potty training all the way to old senior dogs that need special medication 3 times a day. I love all breeds! I believe there are no “bad breeds”. I will love on your dog the whole time I’m with them and treat them like they are mine. I know it’s hard for you to leave your animal, so especially during the 1st couple days I will spend extra time with them to make sure they are comfortable with me and not stressed about you leaving. I also love cats. I’ve taken care of kittens and having to bottle feed them to old cats with maintenance/special lifestyles. I believe cats need as much attention as dogs. I have owned horses for 20 years. I can also care for any and all equines. I’ve worked with unhandled horses to high end show horses. I don’t mind making up grain, cleaning stalls and weighing hay as needed. The only animal I will not watch are snakes. I will happily watch any critter you have! Just no snakes. If I’m being honest I’m absolutely terrified of them. Lol! It is second nature to me. Taking care of animals is just the norm. It is always a priority to me. I’m always thinking about them and how to make them happier. I work, but it is very flexible so I am able to let out for potty breaks and give meds as needed. I will follow your routine with your animals so it’s not strange for them with a new person. They will be treated as if they are my own personal pet. Lots of snuggles, pets, love and treats if allowed! Your house will be as clean as when you left it. I always strip the bed, start any laundry, take out trash, wipe down everything and make sure all dishes are done and put away if applicable.

About: Hi I’m Megan! My husband and I just moved to Los Osos with our two pups, Rohan (8) and Kola (5). We spend our free time hiking with our dogs or at the dog beach (Kola's favorite!). We moved to the Central Coast from Bakersfield in 2023, seeking a more balanced and happy life. Safe to say we've found it! We have extensive pet care experience including recently helping Rohan recover from TPLO surgery for a torn ACL. We are extremely patient with dogs and cats and will follow pet parents instructions to a “T”, just as we would like for our own dogs! I titled my page “Neighborly Pet Care” because this community is so special and there is nothing I want more than to help friends and neighbors with their pet care needs. I work from home on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays so I only am able to conduct drop in visits and walks on those days and available weekends.
