About: I’ve always had a pet in the home since I was a kid, so pet care comes naturally to me. I’ve also been able to take care of neighbors cats and dogs while they’re on vacation. I really have a soft spot in my heart for the critters and it carries over into my treatment and quality of my pet care services. I’m currently living without a pet for the first time in my life right now, and I miss him very much, but that just means I have more love to give to your pet!!! I have open availability so I can be there for your critter at a moment’s notice. Basic Care Feeding: Providing food and water at scheduled times. Bathroom Breaks: Taking the dog outside for potty breaks or cleaning up accidents. Exercise: Walking the dog, playing fetch, or providing other physical activities. Administering Medications: Giving any prescribed meds as directed by the owner. Emotional & Social Care Companionship: Spending time with the dog so they don’t feel lonely or anxious. Playtime: Engaging the dog in fun, stimulating activities. Affection: Petting, cuddling, and giving attention as appropriate to the dog’s personality. Safety & Monitoring Monitoring Behavior: Watching for signs of illness or distress. House Safety: Ensuring the dog doesn’t get into anything dangerous or destructive. Secure Environment: Making sure gates, doors, and leashes are secure to prevent escape. Household Duties (if staying in the owner's home) Light Cleaning: Cleaning up after the dog (e.g., picking up poop, wiping paws). Mail & Plants: Sometimes watering plants or bringing in mail if agreed upon.

“Yessica has been so patient and mind working with our pups. They take a while to warm up to people, and now they love her. We are so appreciative of updates, texts, and pictures. This is our second booking with Yessica. We will call on her again as well as give her info as a reference. Thanks for taking care of our babies!”

About: I have always had animals since I was a kid and I have always loved them! I love their unconditional connection with us. I have senior dog care and medication administering experience. I am trying something new in my career path, which will hopefully include your pet. I want to work with animals more and turn it into a career. I can't wait to get my steps in with your pet! I have an open schedule at this time. I'm looking to fill my week with regular walks, visits, and boarding. I have three daughters. My oldest actually works as a pet bather with Petsmart and my two younger daughters love animals as much as I do......I've been told by my oldest that I'm not allowed at the animals shelter anymore. 🤣🤣🤣 I live in a mobile home with a fenced yard. I have four of my own fur babies that are welcoming to new visitors. Depending on weather we may go for walks at the park and visit the dog park or play in the backyard or even the house with toys. But as long as it's not too hot or raining we hit the park and dog park.

“Julian was wonderful, and we were very happy to have him stay at our place for the day and take charge of keeping our dogs safe and occupied. We found him to be very personable and reliable, and we will definitely be calling on him again. Thank you, Julian!”

“Laura was wonderful. She was very friendly, great with my dog, took him for long walks and sent me updates and photos throughout my trip. Really proactive, she asked great questions, and I was confident that my dog was in great hands with her. 100% will book again.”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 15 years old. I have taken care of bunnies, dogs, lizards, turtles, and hypoallergenic cats. I am allergic to cats so I can only take care of hypoallergenic cats. I have taken care of pets for my family, friends, and people recommended to me. My general duties include feeding, playing, walking, and staying at pet owners homes to keep the animals company and to let them out for regular bathroom breaks. I am currently a part-time student and am available to work the majority of days out of the week. I have plenty of time to do pet sitting, which allows me to provide care and company for your animals. I care for pets in my clients homes by taking their pets for walks, playing with them, feeding them, and making sure they're given regular bathroom breaks.

“Tami is very sweet and helpful and seems to understand common sense practical realities of dog behavior. My dogs really took to her right away! I think the fact that she works with many different animals in her own life is a big plus. She was reliable and thoughtful. I would use her again.”

“Steve was amazing. I left for the country on short notice and Steve made sure to document and follow through on every need I asked. He was very responsive and went above and beyond. If you’re thinking about booking with Rover, please give Steve a chance!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the genuine love and patience I bring to every pet I care for. I’ve had years of hands-on experience with my own Aussie Doodle, so I understand how much attention, routine, and affection animals need to thrive. I’m very in tune with their emotions and needs, and I treat every pet like family. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, I watched my aunt’s older pup for a week and followed his strict walking and feeding schedule closely, making sure he was comfortable and well cared for. Whether it’s sticking to a routine, providing senior care, or just spending quality time showing pets love and attention, I always go the extra mile to make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and happy. My goal is for every animal to feel just as loved as they would at home. Pet care is a meaningful part of my daily life. I have a five-year-old Aussie Doodle who’s truly a member of the family, and I make it a point every day to ensure she feels loved, cared for, and happy. Whether it’s taking her on walks, playing with her, or simply giving her affection, her well-being is always a priority for me. As a student at UC Davis, I’m constantly surrounded by animals, especially cats and dogs around campus. They often gravitate toward me, and I love taking a moment to give them attention and affection. I also can’t help but smile at every dog I see. I get genuinely excited to meet and pet them, even if just for a moment. Animals bring me joy, and I try to return that love in every interaction. At home, I care for my five-year-old Aussie Doodle every single day. I make sure she’s well-fed, always has fresh water, and of course, gets her favorite treats. We go on walks, play together, and every night, I tuck her into bed, it’s part of our routine and something I truly enjoy. Her happiness and comfort are always my priority. I also cared for my aunt’s senior dog for a week, and it was a very different but equally rewarding experience. He had a strict walking and feeding schedule that I followed closely to keep him comfortable and healthy. I made sure he received plenty of love, attention, and care throughout the day, adjusting to his pace and needs. Whether it's my own pet or someone else’s, I always put in the time and heart to make sure they feel safe, loved, and well taken care of.

About: I am a dog owner to two of my own. My oldest is 10 and I’ve couldn’t find something that gives me the most joy in taking care of them and playing with them. I also have 5 years experience with fostering all kinds of puppies and dogs. This experience fostering allowed me to learn how to take care of dogs that aren’t my own. It also showed me how to comfort, play, and love all kinds of dogs. I am currently a college student home for the summer and have plenty of time on my hands. I also have my own car to make travel easier. My weeks are mostly free, which leads to plenty of free time on my hands at any time of day. I always make sure to create a trusting environment for not only the dogs but for the clients as well. I understand how leaving your dogs with someone can be scary, so I try to create a trusting and caring relationship with everyone involved. I also never try to overstep with dogs and clients. In terms of taking care of the dogs and instructions, I make sure to listen to all of the clients’ wants and needs and make sure they all get fulfilled in order for the best outcome for the dogs and clients.

About: Making sure the owners trust me is a priority. I want them to feel comfortable of me taking care of their pets while they are away. I am experienced with taking care of young, old, big, and small pets. I have been taking care of my own pets since a young age. I am dependable, respectful, and can follow directions. Your house and pets can be safe with me! I currently do not have a job so I am free almost anytime. I can come last minute if that is needed. I have pets of my own so I understand if they have specific needs and that is perfectly okay with me. When caring for the owners pets, I make sure that they are safe, healthy, and happy. I can easily put them in crates if that is needed. I make sure that I create a comforting environment for the pets so they know all is well. My main priority is making sure the pet and owners wants and needs are met so everything works out!

“Alyssa did an amazing job caring for our elderly dog while we were away on vacation. She sent messages and pictures all week to let us know he was doing great. She also took great care of our house. Everything clean and tidy when we returned. I would book her again in a heartbeat!”

“Carly was absolutely incredible with our two pups. She went above and beyond and we’ve had a few amazing Rovers sitters. You are in absolutely amazing hands with her if you choose to leave your pups in her care!”

About: I'm kidding! You're your fur baby's dream come true. I've cared for my family and friends' babies to get me through college. Because of my love for learning, I was able to pass down my knowledge to my cats and dogs through positive reinforcement; even shelter cats who only saw me 2-3 times a week! My senior dog, Von learned proper leash walking when I was 16 and just getting into the animal field. I dog-walked through Malibu, Encino, and Calabasas for 2 years before committing to a cat rescue. I am back since I will apply to vet school this upcoming cycle. I currently work full-time in a veterinary clinic, so I know what symptoms to look out for when your friend isn't feeling well. I strive to give exceptional care and make you feel comfortable when you are away from home. I've worked with cats and dogs of all sizes, so I have no preference. I work full-time for 4 days and have 3 consecutive days off (Thursday-Saturday/Sunday), this is a consistent schedule if you're someone that does impromptu trips on the weekends. However, if anything changes, I will keep my schedule updated! Although your pets will not be visiting my home because of my 3 kitties, I will treat your home as if it's my own. I will maintain your home the same way as I found it. Depending on the service, I ask questions beforehand to make sure that I can meet your expectations. Each client is different, but I will keep you in the loop to ensure your furry friends are in safe hands.

Shannon E.
“I have been with Shannon for over 4 years and she is the most amazing dog sitter there is! She took on my 11 year old pit bull/ weiner mix who was reactive and had cancer and socialized her, gave her a wonderful second home and was so helpful with my work schedule Daphne stayed with her 4 nights a week because of my hours. Her and her family where there the day we said goodbye and she kept following the days after. She wasn’t just a sitter, she’s now a friend/family. Now she has my 3 yr old rescue Golden Retriever and he LOVES Auntie Shannon and her home is his second home. He is best friends with her dogs and LOVES the whole family. If I have to work I at least know my baby is taken care of by the best! Cannot say enough good things about her. She goes above and beyond day in and day out for Seager. She is processional, educated with dogs and if I could open a doggie daycare her family is who I would have run in that is how much I believe on her.”

Monique C.
“To whom it may concern, I'm writing to offer my wholehearted recommendation for Monique as a professional and highly reliable pet sitter. Monique has taken care of my pets for several years, and I truly can’t speak highly enough of her dedication, kindness, and sense of responsibility. Throughout the time she worked with me, Monique consistently proved to be dependable and punctual. Whether I needed her for a weekend trip or an extended time away, she always showed up exactly when needed and followed instructions to the letter. I had two dogs, a terrier mix and a Doberman, both with very different personalities and care requirements, and Monique managed them with skill, patience, and genuine affection. She clearly has a natural way with animals, and both dogs adored her. Monique also went above and beyond by caring for my pet lizard, which required a specific feeding routine and environment maintenance. It’s rare to find someone who is equally comfortable with dogs and reptiles, but Monique took everything in stride. I always felt at peace knowing my pets were in her care. What sets Monique apart is not just her ability to manage different animals, but her calm and caring demeanor. She treats animals with love and respect, and it’s clear she enjoys what she does. My home was always left tidy after her visits, and she kept me updated with messages and photos, something I especially appreciated when I was away for long periods. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, experienced with both large and small dogs (and even more exotic pets), I can't recommend Monique highly enough. She’s a true gem, and any pet owner would be lucky to have her. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like more details. Sincerely, Tristan”

Tayler is wonderful. For my first time leaving my pup for an in-home stay Tayler made me feel at ease. She was attentive to my concerns or questions before the stay. She was great with providing me updates throughout the stay, I never had to worry about how things were going. Overall, I had peace of mind knowing that my pup was being well cared for. When I got home my pup was happy and calm. I could tell he got lots of attention and was taken care of while I was away.

Alyssa did an amazing job caring for our elderly dog while we were away on vacation. She sent messages and pictures all week to let us know he was doing great. She also took great care of our house. Everything clean and tidy when we returned. I would book her again in a heartbeat!

Genessis did a wonderful job looking after my Moms little dog while she was out of town for a week. She made time to stop by and meet us all before the trip. Genessis was prompt, professional and friendly. She sent us updates with pictures everyday which was so reassuring. Upon our return Abbey was happy and healthy. The house was neat and tidy. Genessis sent us a quick update when she first arrived and when she left the house at the end of our trip. Excellent communication. We couldn’t be happier with her care and we hope she can care for Abbey in the future.
