My background includes managing the Canine Behavior Department at the Humane Society, where I specialized in working with fearful, reactive shelter dogs. I also led the New Beginnings program, teaching incarcerated men how to safely handle and train dogs preparing for adoption. About: I have taken care of many different kinds of pets since I was 10. From school chickens to family friends dogs or cats I love taking care of animals I am super gentle and patient. I have trained my own dog to do tricks like play the piano and play patty cake and have taken care of her since I was 5. I have an extremely open schedule to provide any housesitting services or drop ins to take your pet on a walk, feed or play with them. I can also water any indoor or outdoor plants. I will take care of your pet by feeding, taking them on long daily walks and playing with them and their favorite toys. I am extremely flexible to the established routines of your pet.

About: I have fostered 8 dogs for PACC (so far!) and helped them find homes. Caring for dogs of ages, temperaments and needs has taught me so much. I have experience with both dogs and cats (and birds and fish!). I work as a substitute teacher, giving me flexibility to take pet-sitting jobs on short notice. I am also available for overnight pet-sitting in the greater Tucson area. As a dog foster, I have learned to be exceptionally careful with new dogs. Respecting their space, while being friendly and encouraging. Taking extra precautions when leaving the house or letting them out into the yard. I understand that change and new people can be stressful to a dog and am careful to avoid additional stressors. I feel immense responsibility for the pets in my care, as well as other pets and people we encounter on walks. I also want the dogs to have fun and relax when we are at home. I really enjoy getting to know new dogs and hope they see me as a new friend ☺️

“After trying to do just boarding with Voilet, we decided she was not having it, she was not happy to be around so many other dogs. We looked for in home care and set up a meet and greet with Tracy. Best thing we ever did. Tracy was very patient with Voilet, who was not having a stranger in her home. Tracy was on time the day we departed and assured us everything would be OK. Not much after we left Tracy provided a update that Violet had calmed down and was not barking anymore. We continued to get up dates thru out our 4 days away. Tracy really put our minds at ease in leaving Violet so we were able to enjoy our trip. Thank you Tracy we look forward to seeing you again and will continue to use her for our Violet!!”
