“Venissa was fantastic! It was our first time using Rover for our little doggo Rufus and she made the process simple and comfortable, completely put our minds at ease about leaving Rufus with a sitter for the first time. Venissa was professional, punctual, and most importantly a calm presence for Rufus - they bonded right away! We will definitely book with Venissa again!”

“Maya was so great with Millie, she took the time to make her feel comfortable and they grew close over the 5 days Maya was taking care of her. Maya kept me updated with photos and updates everyday! This was my first time leaving Millie with anyone and Maya did an amazing job also making me feel comforted that Millie was being well taken care of. She left my place clean and organized which is always a great relief when coming back from vacation. 10/10 5 stars and a big old THANK YOU!”

“Katherine stepped in at the last minute when my dad passed away, and we needed someone to care for our cats during our ten-day trip. I cannot recommend her enough. From the start, she was incredibly professional, compassionate, and attentive. She sent us photos twice a day as requested, provided regular updates, and made sure our kitties were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Thanks to her, we were able to travel stress-free. I cannot recommend Katherine enough—she truly went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for her kindness and dedication.”

“Rosie was so happy to have Melanie back again! We know that Rosie is in safe & loving hands with Melanie, and we really appreciate getting photos and updates while we're away. We look forward to our next weekend away, already booked!”

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life, from birds and fish to cats and dogs. There has not been a second where I have been without taking care of pets! I currently have and take care of two cats with extremely different personalities and a high energy, reactive Border Collie. Therefore, I understand and know how to work with the challenges of dogs who require lots of physical and mental stimulation. I love working with and getting to know all kinds of animals and breeds and understand that no two pets are the same and all require different needs. I have experience taking care of family members’ animals in their homes for up to a week at a time. I have lots of experience and am thrilled to get to know your pets and how to best deal with them! I am currently a student at Carleton University, therefore I can't be at home with my own pets right now. I would absolutely LOVE to help other people with their pets! I will be living in Ottawa for the next 4 years at least, which means I would be a great long term fit! I only have three classes at the moment, giving me tons of availability on days when I have class and off days! In my home, I balance taking care of 2 cats and 1 energetic Border Collie. I take my dog for two 40 minute walks a day and play with him CONSTANTLY in the house (Playful dog owners will especially know about the never ending fetch game)! I measure out both my cat and dog’s food to ensure they are getting proper amounts. I also change my cats’ litter on a daily basis. I enjoy playing laser with my cats and other cat toys!

“Sara is a wonderful sitter. She really understands dogs, and truly cares about their wellbeing. My bernedoodle Winnie is very wary of strangers but warmed up to Sara immediately, and seemed to feel very comforted by her presence.”

“Noah was so amazing. We booked him last minute and he was very accommodating. He went above and beyond our expectations and stayed to spend time with our boy for way longer than we thought he would. We booked him for a day visit and were very pleased. He spoiled our pup and sent us many pictures and updates. Thanks for being there today Noah!”

About: I have had a dog for 8 years and have looked after dogs in the past whether it’s walking/playing or feeding them when needed, or just giving them company. I can look after young and old pups! I have also dealt with dogs that have lots of seperation anxiety or PTSD. I work part time so I will have lots of time to look after your dog! I am available almost every day at any time. Just let me know in advance and I will let you know my work schedule! Unfortunately I won’t be able to have a dog be cared for at my home since I have a dog that has had very bad experiences with other dogs.

“Bianca was super awesome to communicate with and was great with my dog Mylo! She sent lots of updates and pictures, and even with the power going out/ huge storm was able to keep us posted! I trusted her going into my home & have zero complaints. Bianca is a great sitter and I would definitely use her again :)”

“5 stars doesn't do Angie justice. We feel so fortunate to have found her. After our usual sitter became ill right before our vacation, we were scrambling to find someone to care for a very old dog and a second, much younger dog who is very shy of new people. From her first visit/meet and greet, we knew they and our dogs and home would be in the best of care. We came home to happy, healthy dogs and a sparkling home. When life took some unexpected turns, Angie showed compassion, care, and went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you, Angie, for being there for all of us. We look forward to the opportunity of seeing you again and will highly recommend you to anyone.”

“Excellent experience with Christine. She was on time, courteous, had great communication and I could tell she genuinely cares for my pet. I highly recommend Christine for a worry-free experience.”

“Mackenzie was amazing. She stayed at our place over the long weekend to take care of our dogs. She was extremely organized and communicative - we always received quick responses and check-ins. Most importantly, she was great with our dogs. They can be a handful, as both are high-energy and can be reactive. Mackenzie cared for them perfectly (exercise, feeding, medication, etc.) with zero issues. Highly recommend!”

“Maureen is amazing! She took great care of our dogs, was very careful, provided lots of updates and my furry babies loved her! I highly recommend her and for sure I will call her again next time we need a sitter! She is the best!”

“Amy was again an excellent sitter for our energetic labradoodle. This time she stayed with him a full week - she sent us awesome pictures and regular updates, and always asked if she wasn’t sure about something he could have or do. Her transparency and communication made us feel SO comfortable all week. Also, we came home to a spotless house and a happy pup. Will rebook with Amy as many times as we can!”
