I enjoy taking long walks and playing with dogs and giving them affection! I had a 60lbs black Labrador for 9 years, but she unfortunately passed away, so now I would enjoy taking care of other people's dogs because I genuinely enjoy their presence. I've also taken care of my friend's border collie and have taught her many tricks. I also have taken care of my friend's diabetic cat and administered medication, as well as giving her affection, food and a clean environment. Animals tend to like me in general, so hopefully we all get along! Also, I am fully bilingual (fr/en). I'm available any time during weekdays and weekends before 10 am after 7 pm. About: I love animals with my all heart, cats are my specialty but I love dogs - small or big. I'd love to get a big dog eventually, but I cannot give one the proper life and care right now. They get treats to reward good behaviour, but not daily. I brush them weekly, trim their nails weekly and scoop the litter twice a day. For cats I make sure they feel secure with my presence - respect their territory and boundaries. About: Over the past 7 months, I got the opportunity to do +14 housesits all over the beautiful city of Montreal, taking care of cats and dogs (and a lizzard and a rat). From tiny dogs to a 55kg/120lb good boy. The youngest dog just turned 1 year, the oldest 15, the oldest cat 21 years old. 🥹 I am also amazed by the variety of beauty of all the different cats I got to know. Through this variety of pets, I also gained experience in giving cats and dogs supplements and medication (oral and in-ear). On my past travels I also helped a family in Pakistan with their cows and goats, and a family in Wadi Rum, Jordan, to feed their camels. It was such a beautiful experience - though I wouldn't say I am ready to care of them all by myself. 😄🐐🐪 I also took care of some puppies and kittens in the past. I am aware that this is a (rewarding) full time job. So I could only agree on that after having talked about the situation in detail. I am currently attending Language School, the classes are 1-4pm in downtown. Apart from that I work only, which gives me a lot of freedom in regards to time. I love to take longer walks, and it's even more fun with some furry companion. I also enjoy playing with cats and dogs - it's so much fun to know their unique characters. One thing is for sure: There is no cat or dog like another. I would love to take care of your pet in its known environment, which is why I offer housesits at the owner's place. Mathys house sat with our dog, Luna, for five days and four nights. We found Mathys to be a calm and responsible person who took very good care of Luna through twice daily feedings, twice daily walks, occasional play time in our backyard and lots of cuddles. We enjoyed receiving updates and photos of Luna as well. Of special note: Mathys also managed Luna’s anxiety response to a thunder shower by administering the Melatonin pill we left with him, to be given as-needed. Luna responded well to the Melatonin, and Mathys payed extra attention to Luna while the anxiety passed. We very much appreciated this extra care for our sweet pup! We came home after our time away to a happy and healthy dog and a well-kept home. We would definitely recommend Mathys if you are looking for a kind, respectful and responsible dog sitter.

Remy was extremely professional, arrived on time and clearly respected our home and pets. Our pets looked so happy and were very sad to see Remy leave. Our home looked identical to when we left, you would never have guessed someone had been there. Remy also sent photos of our dogs on walks and just enjoying their time with him. I highly recommend him as a pet sitter! He stayed with our dog and two cats for 3 days and took excellent care of them. Our dog has separation anxiety, so we were nervous about leaving him, but he quickly made him feel comfortable and well cared for. Vladyslava was amazing! She stayed at our home for a week to watch our dog and cat. Our dog, Boba, is a very anxious pup, so it did take some time for her to adjust, but Vladyslava took the time to work with Boba and had many options to work with her. Boba did come around and had a great time going for walks and hanging out in the sunshine. Vladyslava left the home very clean and clearly respected our space. We will definitely have Vladyslava back again to watch our furbabies.
