The only exception is a short volunteer shift that takes me out of the house from 10am to 2pm on Fridays. Murphy is calm and well-socialized with both cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes. He knows cats well, and mostly just ignores them but is happy to share the couch or his bed. We typically go for three walks a day, plus a potty break before bed. On walks, I am confident and calm handling a leash with positive reinforcement, and let your pup take all the time they want to sniff and explore. I can walk your dog with Murphy or walk them separately according to your preference, and our schedule is flexible to meet your furry friend’s needs. Whether it’s an occasional walk or a longer stay in our home, there will always be an open dialogue between us so I can ensure your animal gets the best care I can provide.

About: My family and I have had dogs my entire life, and we am now on our sixth dog. I started off with 3 dogs when I was born, a female golden retriever, a female german shepherd mix and a male retired racing grey hound. We then moved onto a male chocolate lab and husky mix, and we now have 2 male cream coloured golden retrievers. I am currently working part time and am free on Thursdays and Fridays for the summer. Hours might change when I go back to school at McGill I have a yard in the back of my apartment, and know all the proper things a dog might need to keep them happy and entertained. As per at a client’s home, entertainment and proper instructions for your dogs specific needs would be met with utmost care.

About: I have experience with pet-sitting for family and friends. I have interacted with both pups and elderly dogs. As well as easygoing and or headstrong dogs. My best approach to any type of canine is calmness and patience. I have some knowledge of dogs’ body language and am highly conscious of their moods when interacting with them. I am a very active person and love walking, so not only are the furry friends having their fun, I am too. I have plenty of time at the moment, and my schedule is flexible. I can do home visits and walks from 7 am to 11 am or 3 pm to 8 pm. When it comes to pet care, I will always follow the owner's instructions.
