About: I only accept one family per appointment, and up to 4 cats being hosted at my house. I will keep them separated from my cats, so there is no stress between them. I have cared for severely ill cats so I can administer oral medication with no problem, clip their nails, play with them, and, of course, clean their litter boxes. I have had multiple cats since 2020, I'm very confident in taking care of them, reading their body language and understanding their boundaries. Currently I have 2 cats that are neutered, and super friendly (socialized with lots of humans and other cats). I can take care of cats in the evening and early morning, up to 2 vists per day. If you have cats and dogs it is okay too, I can walk your dogs on the visit and do all the other necessary things. When hosting cats at my house I will keep them separated from my own, and I work from home 95% of the time, so I can give them medication in the right frequency (if need be). For cats, I can have them at my place, or do drop-in visits. I'm very comfortable with giving medication, clipping their nails, brushing, and understanding their basic needs by their behaviour. If the cats are to be at my home, they will be in different room than my cats, so there is no territorial stress. I only take one family per appointment, so you do not need to worry about your cats being in my home with some other people's cats, all to minimize the stress level. For dogs I can do drop-in visits and walk them, sending photos and videos to the owners everytime. I only accept one family per appointment, so if I'm dog walking, it will be just from one household at a time.

About: Starting off with a Briard when I was 5, my family quickly introduced me to a household including pets to take care of. While I was too young/small to walk our Briard at the time alone, I developed a strong connection to pets. I helped out friends of our family and took care of their pets and worked on dog fairs. Recently, I had the opportunity to go dog sledding with a pack of wonderful Huskies. Over the years I took care of plenty of cats whenever needed. But since my family included my mother as a veterinarian, my uncle as a farrier and my cousin who’s an equestrian trainer, we always had all kinds of animals and pets around - which I enjoyed to the fullest! I am a german living in Montreal, and I love animals and to take care of them. I am working from home, so I can always be there for your pet. To make this the best environment for your pets needs, I am happy to get active and, if needed and desired, take your pets on frequent walks. I condemn any form of physical or emotional violence against animals. For me, taking care of animals is making sure they are safe and feeling well (also if that means leaving them alone ;-)). At my apartment, there is no other pets, or kids. I don’t have a garden, but the apartment is rather big and bright. I live close to greenery and pedestrian areas, which would be my first choice for walking your pet.
About: When I lived with my parents, I took care of my puppy with my mom, we bought food and toys, gave her bath, walk and run with her a lot, clipped nails and brushed. Prefer drop-in visits to walk a dog, which I can do everyday except Wednesday. Prefer weekends, I'm typically free on Thursday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays. Outstandingly amazing cat sitter. On top of her being a kind and compassionate person, she treated my cat with the utmost respect and care. She is highly attentive to details and caught on to small changes in my cat's walk and her behaviour that lead us to recognize she was sick. She took extra time to visit my cat outside her normal hours, gave her her meds each day and dealt with vet visits as we were away. Without her my cat would have suffered. Instead she was loved and cared for by someone so wonderful. I could not recommend Chanel more.
We’ve now trusted ShanShan twice to take care of our cat Athena while we were away, and she’s been absolutely wonderful each time. She’s incredibly reliable and great with follow-ups, and she sends the cutest photos and updates, which is so reassuring.
