“She was really helpful, and when she wasn’t avail she still helped me out by sending her bf to walk my dogs. He was so kind and helped me out by taking out my garbage to the curb because my leg was broken and I couldn’t get down my stairs holding the bags.”

“Lucy is an absolute wonderful dog walker. From the first time we met she has been incredibly attentive and thoughtful and caring. And she has even been willing to learn some training to do with my dog who has some behavioral issues. She's reliable and positive and great with my dog who's quite intense. I highly recommend her!”
“Thanks Laura for walking Watson while we were away and sending us lots of updates ! Very reliable under short notice, communication was excellent, and Watson clearly enjoyed his time with you! We will keep your contact for next time!”

About: I regularly walked my neighbor’s dog for 3 years before becoming a foster home for a Mira Foundation dog for a year and a half, taking care of him entirely on my own. Unfortunately, my current lease does not allow pets, but I love animals dearly and would be happy to give your pet the loving care and attention they deserve. I have been living with a cat at my parents house for around 20 years. As a university student with a fully open summer schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pet the attentive, loving care they deserve, and to care for your home as well if needed. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority. I provide attentive, loving care and make sure every pet feels safe, calm, and well cared for, whether in your home or during walks. Having cared for a Mira dog, I understand the importance of patience, routine, trust, and responsibility. I also never wear headphones while walking dogs so I can give them my full attention at all times, and I only walk one dog at a time to ensure safe, personalized care.
About: I've shared my life with dogs and cats for more than 20 years and have experience caring for pets with unique needs. One of the experiences that shaped me most was fostering and adopting Beagles retired from pharmaceutical laboratory testing. These dogs often required extra patience, gentle handling, confidence-building, and close attention to their physical and emotional well-being. Because of this experience, I'm comfortable administering medications, following special diets, monitoring changes in behavior, and providing calm, attentive care for senior pets or animals who may be anxious, shy, or adjusting to new situations. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their families are away. As an entrepreneur currently building my own business, I have the flexibility to create my schedule around the needs of my clients and their pets. This allows me to be available for daytime visits, walks, feeding schedules, medication administration, and check-ins that can be challenging for those working a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, and I appreciate the opportunity to spend time with animals while helping their families travel or manage busy days with peace of mind. Since I provide care in your pet's home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine and helping them feel comfortable in a familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and household rules. Safety is always my first priority, from checking doors and gates to ensuring pets are secure on walks and monitored for any changes in behavior or well-being. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big decision, and I strive to provide dependable care, clear communication, and regular updates while you're away.
About: My calm and caring approach makes pets feel at ease. I truly take the time to just be with them, whether that means playing, cuddling, or simply keeping them company. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats, from energetic puppies to gentle seniors, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I love to talk to them when they like this, or just adapt to their usual routines. I have a open shared yard in my building and live just a few minutes from Parc Jarry, so they get plenty of outdoor time. I treat every pet as if they were my own, let’s meet and see if we’re a good match! Weekly after 6pm, Saturdays from 12pm, Sundays as you need. I work more often outside home, otherwise I would have been so happy to have more time to just stay all day with your dogs or cats. I keep each pet’s comfort and routine at the center of everything I do. At my home, pets have a calm, safe space to relax, plus access to a shared yard for outdoor breaks and playtime. Since I live just a few minutes from Parc Jarry, we also go for walks and enjoy time outside every day. If it's the case of being in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully, from feeding schedules to favorite toys and walking routes. I make sure pets feel loved and secure while keeping their routine as normal as possible. Whether it’s boarding, walks, daycare, or house sitting, I adapt to each pet’s needs and personality.

About: Heya! I’m someone who’s been surrounded by animals since childhood. Dogs, cats, and even strays 🥳 I grew up in a country where there were many stray animals, and from a young age, I naturally took on the role of caregiver. Whether it was feeding, comforting, or just bonding with them, animals have always been part of my life.🦔 I currently live with a cat, but I’ve been around dogs my whole life—family dogs, guard dogs, house dogs, and the beloved pets of friends and relatives. While I’ve never been able to adopt a dog myself, I’ve cared for many and have years of hands-on experience pet-sitting them since I was a teen. I know how to connect with animals quickly and make them feel safe, understood, and loved. Whether you have a playful puppy, a senior cat, or a nervous rescue, I offer gentle, reliable, and attentive care. I treat every pet like my own—with patience, affection, and respect. Let me know how I can help your furry friend feel right at home while you’re away! ☘️ I’m newly starting to pet sitting as a Student, for now I have plenty time to give to your pets, just let me know when you need a pet sitter and we’ll figure it out ! I’m not able to bring the sweets in my home right now but can do a house sitting and play with your pets as long as they want and also Dog walks for puppies 🫰🏻

She was absolutely fantastic with my dog! From the moment they met, it was clear that she has a special gift with animals. She is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. My dog adored her and always came back happy and well cared for. She kept me updated and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.

John and Pascal were EXCEPTIONAL. They took great care of Tobby, doing morning walks while I was away on a week-long business trip, thus giving some valuable time back to my wife who could then take our daughter to school without rushing and worrying about the dog. I received updates each morning, including pictures and a complete report on each walk! John was also highly empathetic and responsive to my last-minute worries and requests. I would highly recommend John and Pascal.

We had a great experience with Nicole! She was always right on time for our dog’s walks and gave our pup plenty of cuddles and pets before and after her walk. She communicated well with us and sent us plenty of photos and updates. Our dog loves her and we will definitely be using her again!

Charlie, our young Bernedoodle, absolutely loved his walks with Brisa. Over the course of a full week, Brisa took great care of him, and every morning he was excited to see her. She treated Charlie wonderfully, and we couldn’t have asked for better care. We highly recommend her and will definitely book her again for our next trip.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Mont-Royal choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
