About: Hello! My name is Maria and I am 25 years old. I’ve lived in Montreal for 6 years now and I have moved a lot through my life. But something that stays the same is that I always have pets with me. I am an animal lover and my passion for taking care of them has been consistent all my life. Since I was a little kid I wanted to be a veterinarian and living in tropical countries like Costa Rica and Dominican Republic gave me unique experiences with different kinds of animals but the same love and care has always been present for all species. I have had pets all my life, ranging from small dogs like cockers spaniels to bigger ones like Rottweilers and German Sheperds and other pets like cats and hamsters. The love for animals has been passed by my parents and it’s a core value in our family, my mother rescued cats all her life and I share the same passion (my little black cat named Sypha on my profile picture is a rescue). I currently have a cat, as mentioned earlier and I would give my kidney for him and you can expect the same kind of love and care for your pets. I have great attention to detail, I’m very organized and will take care of your pets the way they need to be cared for, weather it is going for walks, taking medication on schedule or completing weird little rituals that make them feel loved and safe. Just let me know what they need! I usually work part time so I have a lot of availabilities for your pets! I start work at 11 and finish at 5pm from Monday to Thursday, so I can drop by before and after my shift! However, I am on vacation for a month until October 12th, so I can dedicate myself full time to your furry babies! At home, your pets will stay inside at all times except for when going on walks or potty! Your pets will never be unsupervised. I will keep them on leash and balcony time will also be supervised although it is also secured/ pet proof

About: Animals have always been part of my life, and they always will 🥰 As a child, I had two dogs (American Cockers), a bird (dove), and many fish. As a young adult, I took care of my sister’s cat whenever she was out of town and in the last few years of his life, I took him into my home and cared for him when he was sick. Today, my dog, Zelda (Corgipoo) is my fur baby. I’ve had her since she was a baby and I’ve learned so much from my experience with her. Zelda is a nervous and reactive dog, which allowed me to acquire tricks to work with her and desensitize her from stressful situations. Having a reactive dog is a continuous learning process, therefore, if you have a reactive dog, I know what it’s like and I can deal with your reactive dog. I’m the “go-to dog sitter” for my friends. They trust me with their cats or dogs and it provides good experience and exposure for my dog, Zelda. I’ve taken care of senior dogs, including my friend’s dog (Great Dane mixed with Labrador) and other reactive dogs, including our friend's dog (Doodle mix). I have experience with: - Dogs (puppies in training, nervous dogs, reactive dogs). - Cats (caring for them; feeding them, emptying the litter box, playing with them, etc). I’m free to walk or check-in with your fur baby anytime of the day. I can 100% guarantee you that your pet will have a great time and make a new friend. I’m also available in the evening if ever you have to leave for event. I will treat your pet as if they were my own. I will care for them, and ensure that they are safe and comfortable. My #1 goal in joining Rover as a dog walker is to help you care for your dog when you’re unable to, due to being at the office or whatever the reason may be. I actually use Rover myself for when I’m at the office and I need a dog walker to take Zelda out in the afternoon. I know how stressful it is to have someone new in your home/dog’s life. I will follow all of your instructions to ensure your pet is treated with affection and care.

About: J’ai mon propre chien depuis 5 ans (il est actuellement en France), donc je connais très bien les responsabilités quotidiennes qu’implique un animal : promenades, jeux, éducation de base et beaucoup d’amour. Pendant mes deux dernières années aux États-Unis, je me suis occupée de nombreux chiens, de toutes tailles, allant du Chihuahua au Spinone Italien. Je faisais principalement des promenades régulières, mais aussi des gardes le week-end. Aujourd’hui, j’ai mon propre appartement, ce qui me permet également d’accueillir des chiens chez moi dans un environnement calme, sécurisé et chaleureux. Je suis douce, attentive et dynamique. J’adore passer du temps dehors, me balader, et envoyer des photos aux propriétaires pour les rassurer pendant leur absence. Je travaille de la maison et suis disponible également pour des balades et pour venir m’occuper de vos bff à votre domicile après 17h. Je suis aussi disponible les week-end! Je vis dans un appartement calme et propre, sans autres animaux, ce qui me permet d’accueillir votre chien dans un environnement sécurisé et apaisant. Je respecte toujours les habitudes du chien (horaires de repas, promenades, jeux, repos) et je fais attention à bien fermer les portes et surveiller l’animal en permanence. Lors des promenades, j’utilise toujours une laisse et je choisis des endroits sûrs.

About: Je m'occupe des chiens depuis que je suis enfant, nous avons toujours eu beaucoup de poilus à la maison, chez moi au Mexique mon père a 5 chiens et 2 chats, ils font partie de la famille. Quand je suis allé vivre à la plage, j'ai travaillé dans un hôtel & shelter pour les chiens, j'avais à ma charge jusqu'à 20 chiens de toutes tailles, certains avaient besoin de soins spéciaux, comme des médicaments ou de la nourriture spéciale; J'étais très heureuse le temps que j'ai offert mes services là-bas. About: I grew up around (minimum) 4 dogs my whole life and now would cherish the opportunity to care for your pet! I was heavily involved in the care and training of my pets and have taken various puppy training courses. I have gotten the chance to know lots of different furry friends - big and small- and am confident in my ability to care for all kinds of pets. I am a part-time student at McGill in my last year of study. I am finding myself with lots of free time and would love the opportunity to fill it up pet play time and walks! Thursday to Sunday is completely open and I never have obligations outside the home for more than 4 hours. I have access to a shared fenced yard outdoor space and I have a spare room that can fit any and all pet supplies. My home space is always tidy and organized as it is a reflection of me. Growing up with animals I understand the importance of clearing a room of potential dangers (left out food, toxic plants, etc).

About: When I lived with my parents, I took care of my puppy with my mom, we bought food and toys, gave her bath, walk and run with her a lot, clipped nails and brushed. Prefer drop-in visits to walk a dog, which I can do everyday except Wednesday. Prefer weekends, I'm typically free on Thursday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays. I can give your pets walks, feed them, play with them, and update with you. I live in an apartment downtown where I don't have pets.

About: Not only I dog sit 4 dogs at same time, I take care of my two baby cats in daily life too( sometimes I hangout with my friend’s dog) . I consider myself a good photographer for pets aha My schedule is flexible and most of my weekdays are free but some days I work till 5pm, please be sure to reserve a day before:) I love walking dogs and playing with cats, I try my best to keep pets busy and accompanied. I always make sure to take as many pix/videos as I can to send them to the owners, and keep them updated for their fur babies

About: Hi! I’m a student at Concordia and am a huge animal lover. I’m doing this because I miss my pets back home and would love to have a dog (or cat!) around to play with. I've taken care of dogs and cats for the past 9 years as my family has 2 large dogs and 3 cats. I was also responsible for caring for the horses and chickens we’ve had over the years. I've also walked friends' dogs for the past 3 years simply because I enjoy it! I took both of my family dogs to their puppy training classes and we go on daily hikes when I'm home. I have experience with reactive dogs, anxious dogs and resource guarding. I’m able to work to meet each pet's specific needs. I am currently a part time student, so my schedule is pretty open. When I'm not in class I’m able to be at home with the dog, and usually, if I am out one of my two roommates (both avid dog lovers) are home, so pets are rarely left alone. Im able to keep up with their daily routine with scheduled feeding and walking. I like to get up and go to bed around the same time most nights so there is some structure around daily routines. Since I don't have a fenced-in yard, I will take them out for multiple daily walks and play with them in the house. I make sure to not leave items or food around that they could get into, and I’m never on my phone during dog walks. If they are allowed treats, I like to engage them in training on the walks. They are allowed on the furniture and I have two roommates who will equally show them lots of love and attention.
