“I can’t say enough good things about Fatemeh. She is incredibly reliable and is always there whenever I need her, even on short notice. She’s so kind, trustworthy, and absolutely amazing with my dog. It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands with her. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and genuinely caring with their pets! ❤️”

“Due to life changes, we recently had to find someone to walk our dog, Altaïr four times a week. Umut was very responsive and proactive from the beginning. He won Altaïr over in two days. Now, when Altaïr sees him, he gets super excited for his walk. They go on 1 hr long walks, and Altaïr comes back calm and happy. Altaïr is trained but he can be a little reactive sometimes, yet Umut has managed this very well. We (and Altaïr) definitely recommend Umut, be it for a one time walk, or recurring ones!!”

“Highly recommend Dan & Andrew. Andrew who walked our dog Sybil was very understanding of her nature as a 5 month old puppy and went out of his way to send updates and let us know all was ok.”
“My goodness, Maire is truly exceptional. I have a very energetic Bernedoodle puppy, and she handles her with such patience, and ease. Ru absolutely adores her, and so do I. I recently had an unexpected emergency, and Maire stepped in without hesitation to care for Ru in my absence. That kind of reliability and heart means everything. She has the calmest, sweetest spirit, and you can genuinely feel how much she loves animals. I cannot recommend Maire highly enough. She is a gift. 🐶✨”

About: I have over 5 years of personal pet care experience and have been pet sitting for multiple friends with pet care over the past year. I helped feed the cats, change water, clean the litter box and give any other treats or play time requested. I am currently home full time and am available for pet care and responsibilities. I love animals and hope to be able to help others take care of the while they are away. I am available for most weekdays and weekends! I have a safe clean apartment that is safe for pets to visit. In clients homes I am respectful and clean any messes that their pets make.
“Erika was great since day one, good communication and always on time to walk my dog. You can immediately see she has experience while dealing with my dog. I would recommend her and will request her help again for sure . Thanks Erika !”

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, hamsters, and birds since I was very young. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding each animal’s unique personality and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have regularly looked after dogs and cats for family members and family friends. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands. As a student with a flexible schedule, I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting, and I do my best to accommodate each pet’s routine. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, regular check-ins while you’re away, or overnight companionship, I strive to provide reliable and consistent care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in their own home, I make every effort to maintain their normal routine and keep their environment calm and familiar. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and household rules. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect while providing attentive, loving care.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets for longer than I can remember! Working at the Canine Club brought me great experience with caring for over 30 dogs at once, which included feed time, play time, and care. I worked overnights to insure the safety for each and every dog. Caring for animals brings me a new perspective on life, it feels me with so much joy and love! I nanny during the day for two hours 2-3 times a week so besides that I am completely free for any of your pet friendly needs! I insure your animals get the loving and care they need while you’re away. I make sure they get to the walks they deserve and every ounce of my attention.
About: We are former dog foster parents and this experience has shaped our love for animals and our desire to give them a safe place to stay where they will be loved while you are away. What you (& your pup) can look forward to: - Two dedicated dog lovers who work from home and are excited to give your pup lots of love in the form of cuddles, play time and many walks. For the time they are with us they are a member of our family 😊 - I'll send daily photos & updates about your pup - We're happy to do a meet & greet with your dog to see if it's a good fit - We will take loving care of your dog based on the feeding, walking & medical instructions you give us - If your dog needs to take medication we have experience providing it - Long term stays welcome! - Our home has air conditioning For dogs with separation anxiety: right now we're doing doggy day care but not overnight boarding for dogs who can't be left alone. We like to go out on date nights ❤️ Dogs who do best solo: If your dog does not get along with other dogs I will make sure they are the only dog in the house. If your dog does well with other (well-behaved) dogs I occasionally host dogs from other families together so there is lots of playtime & socialization. I will always get your permission in advance before hosting any other dog in my home & will of course be prepared to separate them if they're not doing well together. But of course they usually have tons of fun. Parents of American bullies, pitbulls, bulldogs, pugs, and Boston Terriers: we love your dogs but unfortunately have had negative experiences with others that would make us non-ideal caregivers for them. We know every dog is different and we're sad that unfortunately have to decline these breeds. Thank you for trusting us with your animal best friend, when they are in our home we they're our animal best friend too! I know how important it is for you to find the right sitter for your dog, please feel free to ask questions and book a meet & greet to see if we're a fit. Thank you for reading 😊 Amy My partner and I both work fully remotely, me as a life & authenticity coach and him as a software engineer. As such, we have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! We are quite protective of the dogs in our care. They will only be let off leash in a closed & designated off-leash dog park (with your permission) or if you've indicated they're allowed off leash and we are careful when cooking not to leave something toxic to dogs (chocolate, onions etc.) in reach. You can even read about an incident in my reviews about a dog who we had to protect from an angry spontaneous physical attack from a stranger. We take the welfare of your dog very seriously.
About: Hi there! I'm Tess. I've loved dogs my whole life and I'm very comfortable around them - all breeds and sizes. I own an Olde English Bulldog so I am very familiar with stubborn, strong, and high energy dogs. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I would love to give my extra time to some furry friends. I speak both French and English, am an active person who already walks quite a bit, and very punctual and responsible. I will treat and care for your dog like my own! I will not bring my dog along for any scheduled walks, yours will have my undivided attention. My rates are flexible so don't hesitate to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and your dog :) I currently work for myself and from home so I have a flexible schedule and the time to watch dogs as needed. I can do home visits and/or walking. I cannot care for your pets in my home since my dog is selective, but I can easily come to your home and tend do your dog’s needs.
About: We’ve always loved animals and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for dogs, like regular sitting, attending dog schools in the past and taking care of more independent and protective breeds. We genuinely love having pets around and make sure they feel secure, love and happy while you’re away. We’re happy to provide regular updates and pictures to reassure that your dogs are in good hands ☺️🫶🏼 I work full-time with flexible hours, which means I can tailor my dog sitting schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I usually go to the office twice a week, but can be flexible with the days and time if needed. Though my boyfriend and I live in a small apartment with no yard, we're fortunate to be just steps away from a canal, a dog park, and a little park behind our building. This provides us with plenty of options to take your dog out for quick bathroom breaks or longer walks to enjoy the outdoors to ensure your dog will have access to fresh air and plenty of options to exercise 🐣
About: Dog-uncle to Charlie (chihuahua pug) back home in BC, currently in Montreal! Gentle and patient, having grown up around horses, cats and dogs, I’m an experienced animal lover who will take good care of your pup. Enjoying the summer outside, and am available to take your pup out to enjoy some sun and the park too. Je parle francais aussi ! Available for walking only at the moment. Preference for small to medium breeds and should be well trained. Senior, larger breeds ok too! Note: on leash only.
“Very impressed with Adrian. He did very well with my dog Will Potter. I was pleasantly surprised about my dog who has a super active border collie was not a management problem. He seem to be at ease with Adrian and he went on a long one hour walk, and was no problem at all. Adrian is very professional prompt and gives good service.”
“Emma is wonderful and was such a huge help!! She’s punctual, responsive, flexible, and responsible — literally everything I was looking for. My pup loved her right away and looked forward to his walks every morning and night. I also love that she took photos, provided updates, and tracked their route. I’ll 100% book her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Westmount
Camille and Kevin were the first dog sitter we hired on Rover so naturally, we were a little nervous! But they came over to meet our dog Koa, a week before, and we they immediately put us at ease. Yesterday was “the day” of the walk and all went perfectly! They even sent us the cutest selfie imaginable with Koa! Also, they are fantastic communicators! We have already booked them for the next time!!

Merci, Sabrina ! 🐾

Eve is great! She is very sweet and her dog just loves her. She also took care of our three cockateels during vacation time and she was very caring and concerned that they were always OK. She is always on time and hardly misses a day. Very dedicated! I would recommend her 100%.

Heather helped us with walks over the last few weeks and she was professional and easy to communicate with ! Our dog is not always perfectly behaved on walks but Heather seemed experienced and didn't have any issues with him. We hope to work with her again very soon!

Sara was amazing! She took such good care of our dog Bobo, taking him for a walk and making sure he was properly fed and hydrated. Our dog has separation anxiety but she made sure to make him comfortable and at ease. We highly recommend Sara and look forward to engaging her again when we visit Montreal next. Thank you Sara!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Westmount choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
