About: Première rĂŠservation avec Rover ?
She did a little dance today when she realized Heather was at the door. And I did a little dance, too, on the insideâbecause Heather is really conscientious, soo easy to get along with, and seems to really love dogs.â

âMy goodness, Maire is truly exceptional. I have a very energetic Bernedoodle puppy, and she handles her with such patience, and ease. Ru absolutely adores her, and so do I. I recently had an unexpected emergency, and Maire stepped in without hesitation to care for Ru in my absence. That kind of reliability and heart means everything. She has the calmest, sweetest spirit, and you can genuinely feel how much she loves animals. I cannot recommend Maire highly enough. She is a gift. đśâ¨â

About: Iâve been taking care of pets for longer than I can remember! Working at the Canine Club brought me great experience with caring for over 30 dogs at once, which included feed time, play time, and care. I worked overnights to insure the safety for each and every dog. Caring for animals brings me a new perspective on life, it feels me with so much joy and love! At the moment I work nights on the weekends and Iâm not in school currently so Iâm free for any of your pet friendly needs! I insure your animals get the loving and care they need while youâre away. I make sure they get to the walks they deserve and every ounce of my attention.
âVladyslava recently started walking our big, beautiful dog Maggie. She is doing a great job and I have no hesitation recommending her. Very nice, prompt, and responsible.â
âReliable, flexible and excellent with communication. Provides daily updates and pictures of the visit. She asks questions / feedback when unsure of something or if she thinks you might have a preference. She has accommodated my puppy solo while he is too young to be introduced to other dogs.â

âHighly recommend Dan & Andrew. Andrew who walked our dog Sybil was very understanding of her nature as a 5 month old puppy and went out of his way to send updates and let us know all was ok.â
âOur dog Gustave is a bit anxious and shy with people but the day he met Amelie he clearly took a liking to her. I can see him getting more comfortable with her and she has asked questions to make sure his needs are met. She has also been responsive and timely when taking Gustave for walks.â

âEmma is great! We unfortunately had to make last minute bookings due to a travel delay. Emma replied literally within two minutes and our Coco was a happy camper :)â
About: Iâve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, hamsters, and birds since I was very young. Growing up with pets taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding each animalâs unique personality and needs. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have regularly looked after dogs and cats for family members and family friends. Whether itâs feeding, walking, playing, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship, I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care and give pet owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in good hands. As a student with a flexible schedule, Iâm able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting, and I do my best to accommodate each petâs routine. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, regular check-ins while youâre away, or overnight companionship, I strive to provide reliable and consistent care. Your petâs safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. When caring for pets in their own home, I make every effort to maintain their normal routine and keep their environment calm and familiar. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, and household rules. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect while providing attentive, loving care.
About: I come from a long line of dog enthusiasts and lovers. Ive worked for multiple doggy daycare establishments . As well as growing up with at least 2 dogs in my house at all times. My grandmother has also been a dog breeder her entire life so I spent a fair amount of time taking care of her litters of puppyâs. So I have experience with dogs or all ages, breeds and sizes. I also have 2 dogs of my own! I currently work from home and am looking for something enjoyable to fill my time as I save money for future travels and experiences and hobbies! I live in lower Westmount on the edge of a large park with lots of open space to play and walk, as well as a dog park within the park which is a safe place I often take my own dogs to get some exercise and socialize. I am also an advocate for positive re enforcement instead of negative punishment for dogs when it comes to behavioural issues so no need to stress about your dogs well being when theyâre with me!
About: I have over 5 years of personal pet care experience and have been pet sitting for multiple friends with pet care over the past year. I helped feed the cats, change water, clean the litter box and give any other treats or play time requested. I am currently home full time and am available for pet care and responsibilities. I love animals and hope to be able to help others take care of the while they are away. I am available for most weekdays and weekends! I have a safe clean apartment that is safe for pets to visit. In clients homes I am respectful and clean any messes that their pets make.
âEmma is so nice and my dog Darcy loves her! Wags her tail like crazy and waits by the door for her. Emma is very communicative and prompt. Will ask her again for sure!!!â

About: Hi there! I'm Tess. I've loved dogs my whole life and I'm very comfortable around them - all breeds and sizes. I own an Olde English Bulldog so I am very familiar with stubborn, strong, and high energy dogs. I work from home and have a flexible schedule so I would love to give my extra time to some furry friends. I speak both French and English, am an active person who already walks quite a bit, and very punctual and responsible. I will treat and care for your dog like my own! I will not bring my dog along for any scheduled walks, yours will have my undivided attention. My rates are flexible so don't hesitate to contact me. I look forward to meeting you and your dog :) I currently work for myself and from home so I have a flexible schedule and the time to watch dogs as needed. I can do home visits and/or walking. I cannot care for your pets in my home since my dog is selective, but I can easily come to your home and tend do your dogâs needs.

Eve is great! She is very sweet and her dog just loves her. She also took care of our three cockateels during vacation time and she was very caring and concerned that they were always OK. She is always on time and hardly misses a day. Very dedicated! I would recommend her 100%.

Heather helped us with walks over the last few weeks and she was professional and easy to communicate with ! Our dog is not always perfectly behaved on walks but Heather seemed experienced and didn't have any issues with him. We hope to work with her again very soon!

Sara was amazing! She took such good care of our dog Bobo, taking him for a walk and making sure he was properly fed and hydrated. Our dog has separation anxiety but she made sure to make him comfortable and at ease. We highly recommend Sara and look forward to engaging her again when we visit Montreal next. Thank you Sara!

She was absolutely fantastic with my dog! From the moment they met, it was clear that she has a special gift with animals. She is kind, patient, and genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. My dog adored her and always came back happy and well cared for. She kept me updated and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Westmount choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
