Ayant grandi avec des Braques (Allemand et Weimar), je sais exactement ce que signifie gérer un chien athlétique qui a besoin de se dépenser sans s'éparpiller. Je suis sportive et je ne me laisse pas impressionner par les grands gabarits ou les chiens qui tirent. Je sais canaliser leur fougue par la dépense physique, tout en maintenant une structure rassurante. Je ne stresse pas. Que ce soit pour un chiot qui fait une bêtise ou un chat qui a besoin de tranquillité, j'apporte une présence posée. Mon organisation me permet de suivre scrupuleusement vos routines (heures de repas, médicaments, habitudes de balade). Je suis actuellement étudiante et travaille à temps partiel à l'université. Je suis donc disponible assez souvent dans la semaine et aussi le week-end au besoin. Mon approche est simple : je m'adapte au rythme de votre foyer pour que votre animal ne ressente aucun stress en votre absence. Dès mon arrivée, je prends le temps de saluer votre compagnon avec calme (sans l'envahir). Je vérifie immédiatement l'eau, l'état de la litière ou du jardin, et je m'assure que tout est sécurisé dans la maison. Je suis très organisée. Les dosages de nourriture, les horaires de médicaments ou les petites habitudes (le doudou spécifique, la lumière allumée...) sont suivis à la lettre.

About: Hi! I have many years of experience with dogs, cats and birds. Dogs: I have had two dogs in my childhood - a boxer and an Italian greyhound. I am comfortable with any size of dog and acclimated with different temperaments and energy levels. I have experience feeding, walking, playing with, grooming (brushing teeth, clipping nails, brushing), and bathing dogs. I have also administered chemo pills to a friend’s dog (golden retriever) over the course of two years. Cats: I have had 2 cats over the course of the last 8 years. I treat my animals with the highest form of care: brushing teeth daily, grooming weekly, litter box twice a day, yearly vet check-ups, and 10-15 minutes of active play a day. I have watched over friends’ dogs and cats many times and put in the same level of care every time. My passion for animals has stayed with me for life and I am eager to meet and take care of your pet! I am currently a PhD student and therefore have a lot of time and flexibility for walks and daytime visits. I am an early riser, so I am comfortable coming before 9am. I am comfortable with many forms of care for both cats and dogs. Walking, bathing, grooming (nails, fur, teeth), enrichment, feeding, and cleaning the litter box.

Paloma est parfois timide et craintive selon les contextes, alors j’ai appris à gérer ces moments où une simple gâterie ne suffit pas, avec patience et calme. Je m’occupe de chaque chien que je garde comme si c’était le mien. Comme je suis travailleur autonome, je bénéficie d’une grande flexibilité, ce qui me permet d’être disponible le jour, en semaine. Ton chien ne passe pas la journée seul à attendre : il a une vraie présence à ses côtés. Je m’adapte facilement aux préavis courts ou aux changements d’horaire. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 8 years old, when I walked my neighbours schnauzer around the park almost every weekend until she died when I was 16. I’ve also sat all types of dogs from golden retrievers to puppy dachshunds. I am not afraid of any animals and I’ll always treat them with the best care I can give. Being far from home and away from my pets I am trying to fill the animal sized hole in my heart.
