We live in a quiet, pet-friendly apartment surrounded by beautiful green walking paths. Safety is our top priority: although our building is very secure, we have installed a baby safety gate at the front door to guarantee that no pet can ever slip into the hallway when doors open. We share our home with two senior small rescue dogs: Ottho (14): A sweet, toothless senior Yorkie with low vision who navigates by scent. He can be a little grumpy with newcomers at first, but he is completely harmless and mostly enjoys snoozing. Lu: A rescued Chihuahua with a cat-like personality. Because of past trauma, she is cautious around strangers, but she coexists peacefully with other dogs as long as they respect her personal space. Given our dogs' sensitive backgrounds and our veterinary experience, we are experts at reading canine body language, managing slow introductions, and ensuring every dog feels safe without forced interactions. Outside, the area is packed with great walking trails. We usually time our walks to avoid "rush hour" to keep outings calm and stress-free, though we are happy to adapt our walking routine to your dog’s social preferences. Réservée en raison de son passé difficile, elle tolère très bien les autres chiens dès lors que son espace personnel est respecté. Grâce à notre parcours en clinique vétérinaire, nous maîtrisons parfaitement les présentations en douceur et le respect des limites de chaque animal. À l'extérieur, nous privilégions les promenades en dehors des heures d'affluence pour des sorties calmes et sereines, tout en adaptant volontiers ce rythme selon la sociabilité de votre chien.

About: I have had cats in my life since I was 10. I genuinely enjoy and taking care of cats. I love to give the best possible care that they deserve! I have experience in giving medication, caring for senior cats, and following any special routines. I work seasonally in the summer, so this fall and winter I am home most days to visit and hang out with your special kitty. I love meeting new cats and I quickly learn about each cat's needs and wants. I understand some cats are more shy and reserved. I also have a spacious one bedroom apartment which can easily be turned into seperate spaces for cats before they are introduced.

Je suis principalement disponible le soir, les fins de semaines, les congés et pendant les fêtes. De plus, je suis disponible de nuit aussi. Le jour je pourrais aussi mais seulement les mercredis, jeudi et vendredi mais seulement pour le service de garde à domicile chez les propriétaires car je fais du télétravail. Je joue beaucoup avec eux, je les flattes, je les promenes dehors, je les nourris. Je peux aussi regarder un film avec eux. Avec beaucoup d’amour.

About: Hi! I've been an animal lover my whole life with a particular love for dogs. I've been caring for my friends' pets for years and then started getting requests from some of their friends, and since I love it and found myself in a position where I need to find some more work, I figured I'd make myself available to more fur babies! I'm really only interested in caring for dogs, though I do love cats too, but there are allergies to contend with. I'm without any animals living here, so your dog can get undivided and attention. I'm happy to have them stay here, take them on frequent walks, and I can offer to work on some basic training skills if you like. I'm also available to walk from your place or just do drop-ins to give them some love! If you need someone to care for and spend some time with your pup, let me know! I'm working on a flexible schedule and often work from home, so I can dedicate my time around the needs of your fur baby. We can discuss your specific needs and make sure it all works. I have no other pets to worry about. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I live in a quiet neighborhood with time for frequent walks. I'm happy to bring your pup to the dog park if you prefer but I typically prefer to take on frequent long walks (if they are able). And for socialization, I have friends with well socialized neutral non-reactive dogs in fenced in yards for playtime (if you like).

About: Je m’occupe de mes deux bassets à la maison, j’ai eu un élevage pendant deux ans où la femelle basset originaire de la Bretagne m’a fait une très belle portée dont les chiots étaient tous en santé. J’ai gardé le dernier chiot son nom est Rocky il est très gentil. Avec mes deux bassets, nous nous promenons deux fois par jour petite balade du matin et balade de l’après-midi on sort souvent pour des sorties d’une heure, dont le parc à chien où nous aimons vraiment beaucoup socialiser, et se défouler, nous aimons les autres amis, car nous sommes faits pour vivre en meute. Si je me déplace, j’effectue toujours une surveillance d’hygiène, nettoyage des pipis s’il y a lieu et remise en état de la pièce donner la nourriture, puis s’assurer qu’ils ont toujours de l’eau, jouer et aller dehors et faire les soins routine, lavage des oreilles, lavage des dents, lavage du poil, brosser le poil et s’assurer qu ils sont en pleine santé. Cela fait partie de ma routine avec mes deux chiens.

Losing him was very hard, and offering pet care now feels like a meaningful way to continue sharing that love. About: I have many years of experience dealing with dogs & puppies - having had a couple of them myself. I treat dogs with love and care, always tailoring to each individual pup. I also have experience in dealing with reactive dogs and physical issues (tri-pods). I love spending time with dogs and making them feel happy and taken care of :) Just starting out on this journey - have always wanted to do this as I love spending time and playing with dogs … what better time to do this than now! I work full time but only in office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - I also live right next to my office so able to go home at lunch or at any time during the day! Other than that, home all the time! About: When I lived with my parents, I took care of my puppy with my mom, we bought food and toys, gave her bath, walk and run with her a lot, clipped nails and brushed. Prefer drop-in visits to walk a dog, which I can do everyday except Wednesday. Prefer weekends, I'm typically free on Thursday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays. I can give your pets walks, feed them, play with them, and update with you. I live in an apartment downtown where I don't have pets.

Les marches plus longues seront en fonction de notre horaire et de dame nature. Je travail à temps partiel et je suis étudiante. De plus, mon conjoint est toujours à la maison. Notre cours est non clôturée (haie), les chiens ne sortent pas sans laisse. Dans la maison, ils sont libre de s'installer où bon leur semble. Je peux aller chez vous pour faire des visites drop-in, jouer et marcher vos chiens à la demande.
