About: I have over 6 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, including large breeds like Dobermans. As a dog owner myself, I understand that every pet has unique needs, personalities, and routines. I have experience caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, providing daily walks, exercise, feeding, playtime, companionship, and basic training. I am also comfortable administering oral medications when needed. I treat every pet like my own and always make their safety, comfort, and happiness my highest priority. My goal is to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide dependable pet care throughout the week, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays whenever possible. I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I always communicate promptly and provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I have a secure fenced yard where dogs can safely play under close supervision. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding schedules, exercise, medications, and daily routines. Pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I provide plenty of attention, affection, potty breaks, and enrichment throughout the day. My home is clean, safe, and pet-friendly, creating a calm environment where your furry family member can feel comfortable and loved.
Merci”

“I booked Katelyn to take care of my 2 chickens while I was away for a week. She passed by every other day to check on their food and water supplies and clean up the coop. It worked out great and gave me peace of mind. I really appreciated her quick response to my text messages. I will book with her again for my next vacation.”

Merci”

“Qi is the most professional and my animals loved her. When I met her my pets instantly liked her and were following her instantly to get some petting. I felt she knew what she was doing and that my animals would be safe. I not only was satisfied but she was beyond what I expected. She sent photos and videos each time she visited with a thorough description of her daily visits. Don't hesitate, book her, you won't be disappointed.”

About: Hey! This is Chelsea! I’m a dog person! I have ten years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including multi-dog households. I’m also a pet groomer:) I’m currently self employed so I have a lot of time staying with my furry friends:) I understand that every pet is unique, so I always take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and special needs. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, basic grooming, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I provide a calm, clean, and safe home environment, and I’m very attentive to details such as hygiene, behavior changes, and stress signals. I’m especially comfortable handling energetic dogs, anxious pets, and dogs that need structure and consistency. Clear communication with pet parents is very important to me. I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you can feel confident and at ease while you’re away.
“Melanie and Andrew were really great! They took the time to meet with us beforehand and got to know us and our dog before the scheduled visits. Very nice people! When we need another house sitting for our dog we know exactly who to go with!”

“I am so happy I trusted my instincts with Rojina and chose her to take care or our cat Hedwyg, who is a rescue. He is normally very shy and hides when someone unknown comes to the house. But with Rojina, he came out on day one! She clearly has a gift for taking care of animals and really respect them. I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She updated us with pictures and comments and adhere to all our specific needs. She is a true professional and profoundly cares. Thank you for everything Rojina?”

“I’m very satisfied with Jing’s service and I think my two cats are too. While Jing is over all awesome, I mostly appreciate her reports after visits, which let you know how your pets are doing. She is also very responsive in the chat, so anything you need her to do or to be aware of, she would make sure it’s done.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brossard
Daran was wonderful with our two dogs! She is very responsible, highly attentive, and followed all of our instructions to the letter. Our pups felt super comfortable around her and warmed up to her almost right away, which gave us great peace of mind. If there’s one small area for improvement, it would be communication. In our past experiences with other sitters, we were used to getting frequent updates, videos, and multiple photos throughout the day. Darán kept updates to the essentials—mainly the standard Rover report with one photo per dog. Because we had a 24/7 camera, we knew everything was going great, but without it, two photos a day might have left us feeling a bit anxious. That being said, she did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs, and we would definitely recommend her!

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Brossard stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brossard choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
