“I’m so appreciated for Ntando’s help! She quickly responded my request and did a very great job to take care of Gary and Charlie! Also, very appreciated for the cute photos of them! Happy holiday”

“Had an amazing experience with Qi. Very flexible with drop off and pick up, and communications were great. My dog loved Qi instantly ! She took really good care of her and kept me updated by sending me pictures of her. I fully recommend Qi and will for sure book her in the future 🙂”

“Sérine a été super et s’est très bien occupée de notre petit Oscar! Elle a été très professionnelle et est restée en contact avec nous au cours de la journée pour nous donner des nouvelles d’Oscar, puisqu’il s’agissait de sa première fois chez Sérine. Nous recommandons fortement ses services! Merci Sérine!”

I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time for dog care, walks and leisure. I'm available most of the day, morning or afternoon. I have a fenced backyard and a little girl that loves to play with dogs. She also has friends over who enjoy dogs as well.
About: I genuinely love pets. I give them all the love, care and attention they can get as I do to my own cats and dog. ♥️ I work from home so I’m close to them all the time and can take several potty breaks and nice walks in the park that is 3 min away. Beware that I have 2 cats, so I can only take cat friendly dogs. 😊 I also have shared custody of a golden retriever, so she might be here too 😊

Larissa and Carolina were really wonderful! Communication was really easy and we got tons of photos that we really appreciated. they were patient with my anxious dog. Even when she had a small accident, they handled it with care. really felt she was in good hands. Highly recommend!😊

Rosana is an excellent Dog Sitter and I would highly recommend her for dog sitting. She was conscientious, attentive and pleasant to deal with as a dog sitter. She took great care of Zeta while I was away, and I will be forever grateful for her for doing this for me.

Alma was very responsive to our booking request and has had great communication, as well as sent multiple pictures, during our 2 days of daycare for our pup. We are visiting the area and wanted to sightsee in the city. Alma is friendly and has been very attentive to our dogs special orthopedic needs related to a current front leg injury. Marlee enjoyed her days and will be back a few more times before we leave town. Thanks again!!!!! **Special note for owners** you & your dog must be able to walk up & down several flights of stairs

Sérine was amazing! She is super sweet and she took care of my Molly as if she was her own. Great communication! We got updates on how Molly was doing along with pictures and a video. Sérine is number one on our list for sure the next time we need a sitter! Would definitely Recommend!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's leash and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalized care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Brossard commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in QC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 88% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 85% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
