About: J'ai eu plein d'animaux depuis toute petite.

I am comfortable handling fearful or reactive dogs and have experience pet sitting small, medium and large dogs (max 40kg/ 88lbs). My special skill is that I can help in training puppies ☀️ and I can administer medication to senior dogs I am a student so I have a variable schedule that can be accommodating to your needs. I can drive and am usually available during the day. Safety is my highest priority meet and greets are greatly encouraged! About: I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for them has always been one of my biggest passions. I previously worked at the SPCA because I strongly believe in animal welfare and rescue over supporting pet stores. Over the years I’ve cared for rats, rabbits, bunnies, geckos, hamsters, birds, squirrels, pigs, cats, and dogs. Every species has different physical and mental needs, and I take the time to learn what allows each animal to truly thrive—not just survive. I’ve never believed in keeping animals in the small cages sold in most pet stores. Instead, I build large, custom enclosures designed specifically for each individual animal’s needs, giving them plenty of room to explore, play, and live comfortably. Daily care is something I take very seriously. Every animal receives individual attention, enrichment, playtime, fresh food and water, and their living space is spot-cleaned and maintained every single day to ensure they stay healthy, happy, and stress-free. Whether I’m caring for my own animals or someone else’s, I treat every pet as if they were my own family. My goal is always to provide a safe, enriching, and loving environment where every animal receives the care, patience, and respect they deserve. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule because I have a flexible routine and can plan my days around the pets in my care. I make it a priority to stick to each pet’s normal feeding, exercise, and medication schedule, and I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight visits depending on the owner’s needs. I only take on a manageable number of pets at a time so that every animal receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I always follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean living space, plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection based on their personality. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being, keep your home clean and secure, and will happily send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I've house and pet sat for family members and friends over the years, as well as having experience taking care of my own family's dogs. I recently took care of my aunt and uncle's senior dog who needed some words of encouragement to climb down the stairs everyday as she was going blind, and overall we had a great time! I also have hEDS as a disability so pet care is one of the ideal forms of employment for me that are best for my joints. Je suis bilingue aussi! I'm currently a music student at McGill and I have free afternoons after rehearsals, and free weekends depending on concerts. It's easiest for me to stay at your home with your pet as my apartment doesn't allow pets, or for me to drop on to let your dog out or for feeding. I do very well with instructions, and I aim to make things as easy for you and your pet as possible. I'm open to anything as long as there's enough notice for me to take note.

Pamela is such a sweetheart. She's done doggy daycare for me in the past, but this time she stopped by to check in on my cat while I was out of town with the dog. She took photos to let me know my request for litter cleaning was complete and that my cat was doing well. She also left a very nice note for me for when I got home. Will definitely be booking her again for both my dog and cat!

About: 2+ years volunteer experience as a medical care assitant in cat shelters: - record health status of each animal and record any unusual symptoms or behaviours - gave medication to animal that needed it - fed cats and cleaned their surroundings 1+ year foster care for dogs: - fed and walked dogs when needed - would sometimes train to adjust them in their new environment (not a professional trainer) - basically would treat them as my own 2+ years working with livestock: - calf rearing, would mainly feed and clean their environment - would give medication to animals in need - worked with cattle, sheep and chickens 1+ years working in a dog day care: - walk all dogs and supervise them throughout the day - correct bad behaviour and report to lead supervisor - clean their surrounding and making sure they had water at all times. Since I was young, my family and I were surrounded by animals specifically dogs and cats. All were found and kept. Sometimes we had strays (mainly cats and kittens) and would feed them and made sure they had a warm place in the winter (in shed). All animals were welcome to our home. All in all, I am quite ethical in the relation to animal welfare and love taking care of them.

Daran was wonderful with our two dogs! She is very responsible, highly attentive, and followed all of our instructions to the letter. Our pups felt super comfortable around her and warmed up to her almost right away, which gave us great peace of mind. If there’s one small area for improvement, it would be communication. In our past experiences with other sitters, we were used to getting frequent updates, videos, and multiple photos throughout the day. Darán kept updates to the essentials—mainly the standard Rover report with one photo per dog. Because we had a 24/7 camera, we knew everything was going great, but without it, two photos a day might have left us feeling a bit anxious. That being said, she did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs, and we would definitely recommend her!

Jing took wonderful care of our dogs during our last trip, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She kept us constantly updated with photos and videos, paid close attention to their feeding routine, and completed every required task with great care and professionalism. We wholeheartedly recommend Jing to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated caregiver for their furry family members. We would absolutely work with her again, as our dogs felt genuinely comfortable with her — something that doesn’t happen often, since they can be a bit wary. Seeing them so at ease with her was truly reassuring and meant a lot to us.

Katelyn was amazing with Miller! He was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved his time with her. I’ll hire her again without a second thought. Some people do dog sitting just for the money, but others do it because they truly love animals—and Katelyn definitely falls into the latter category. That kind of genuine care is so reassuring for any dog owner.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
