“Caring, attentive and fun, Eve is such a star cat sitter! She follows pet-care instructions perfectly and asks questions when she's not sure. She's pleasant and easy to chat with, and Rover communications are always clear. Most of all - she got along great with my cat! She was affectionate and doting to my kitty while not being imposing. Thanks Eve for your professionalism, flexibility and experience. Will definitely be booking Eve in 2025!”

About: I’ve had experience caring for animals of all ages and energy levels, from puppies and younger pets with lots of energy to seniors who prefer a slower pace. I’m pretty flexible and like adjusting to each pet’s personality and routine rather than expecting them to fit into mine. I love going for nature walks, so daily walks and getting outside are already a regular part of my routine. I’m also just as happy staying in, playing, giving lots of attention, or letting a more independent pet do their own thing. I also have my own car, which makes things a lot easier if I need to travel for drop-ins, pick-ups, or anything else that comes up while they’re in my care. I work full-time from home. So I would prefer to have your cat here at my place, where they would get 24/7 care. But I am willing to go to your home to visit, its also a possibility for me to work there too so there more time around a person (wifi dependant) I have a big 2 bedroom apartment and a blacony, The balcony is high up so I won't keep it open unless your pet has had expierence around that. Since I live & work from home, I like to keep my place as tidy as possible throughout the day, so your pet will have a nice, clean place to roam and discover.
“Alicia has watched our cats before, so I was happy that she was able to do it again. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to extend her visits twice and she was wonderfully accommodating. She is an excellent pet sitter and our cats love her. I would not hesitate to book her whenever I have an upcoming trip. Merci Alicia!”
About: I have many years of experience dealing with dogs & puppies - having had a couple of them myself. I treat dogs with love and care, always tailoring to each individual pup. I also have experience in dealing with reactive dogs and physical issues (tri-pods). I love spending time with dogs and making them feel happy and taken care of :) Just starting out on this journey - have always wanted to do this as I love spending time and playing with dogs … what better time to do this than now! I work full time but only in office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - I also live right next to my office so able to go home at lunch or at any time during the day! Other than that, home all the time! Lots of playing and cuddles! I live in a quiet neighbourhood, close to dog parks and green areas/parks. I can tailor to you and your dogs needs - whether your dog needs to be in a crate or not, special needs or requests, anything to make you and your furry friend comfortable!

“Heather was great with my cats. Even my shy cat came out to greet her! She was communicative, allowing me to enjoy my time away while knowing that my cats are in good hands.”

“Morgan was absolutely amazing with Coco. From the moment we left him with Morgan, we felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands. She took such great care of him, gave him so much love and attention, and kept us updated throughout her stay. It was clear that Coco was happy, comfortable, and very well taken care of. We’re so grateful for Morgan and would 100% trust her with Coco again. Thank you so much, Morgan! 🥰 ps: Coco is insulin-dependent and Morgan did well!!”

“Ivàn is a great communicator and made sure to keep me up to date on any pertinent info regarding my cat. He also made sure to keep the litter box clean and change the water as well as leave some treats. Thank you so much for your help!”

“I needed someone at the last minute, and was not home to give the keys or instructions. Fiorella seamlessly received and followed instructions remotely to get access to the keys and take care of my old lady cat. I strongly recommend her!”

“Raz did an amazing job talking care of my very stressed senior kitty. It was the first time she had been alone since we lost our other kitty. Raz sent pictures and messages daily to keep me up to date with what was happening. I 100% recommend her!”

“Mason is really great. He makes you feel comfortable from the start. I knew he was someone I can trust with my little furry treasures even from the first meeting. Will continue to use his services and no one else.”

“I had a great experience with Catherine - she took care of my two cats while I was away, shared daily feedback and the photos! I’m sure I’ll ask her again when I need someone to look after them 💛”

About: I believe animals are always communicating with us, and I approach pet care by listening first and responding with patience and care. I have 12 years of experience with my own dog and have worked through reactivity, anxiety, fear of noises, and leash pulling using positive reinforcement. I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour and psychology, which has shaped how I care for animals today. I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)
About: Love caring for animals, experienced with senior, shy and spicy cats too! I can’t walk your dog and I can house sit when you’re away! Available on hourly or daily basis including weekends/overnight stay. I am a graduate student and I can provide care after 4 pm or before 9 am. I can feed, walk or play with your dog/cat. I can also do light grooming, cleaning their food bowls and clean the litter. I first let them get used to me.
☺️ -- Hello 🌷 My name is Lucile, and I’m a huge animal lover. I can’t wait to meet your little (or big) companions! I have several years of experience as a dog sitter in France, where I’ve provided in-home care, walks, and visits. I’ve also volunteered at a shelter in Nepal that’s home to nearly 150 dogs of all breeds and sizes. 🐶 Some have had sadder stories than others, but they all have plenty of love to give. I loved that time in my life and learned so much from it. I love taking care of dogs, playing with them, and going for walks, but I also respect their need for quiet time. I truly consider them members of the family. However, I prefer to care for just one dog at a time to ensure I give him all the attention he needs. I’m self-employed, so I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule and availability. I can adapt to your schedule quite easily, and I can also be very attentive to your pets, taking them on several walks or outings each day depending on their needs or routines. I’m committed to talking with you to ensure your pet has everything they need, without any stress—for both you and them.

He did an amazing job taking care of my dog! He was very patient, caring, and attentive, and he followed all of my instructions perfectly. I felt completely comfortable knowing my dog was in good hands while I was away. He kept me updated and made sure everything was done exactly as requested. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for someone reliable and trustworthy to take care of their pets. I will absolutely book with him again!

Morgan was absolutely amazing with Coco. 🥰 ps: Coco is insulin-dependent and Morgan did well!!

My dog Mika really enjoyed spending time with Lara! Her presence and care made Mika's time alone much easier and she was noticeably calmer when I came back home. Lara took the time to play and cuddle with Mika so she can spend her energy and just give her some good company. The whole experience was very smooth and stress free for me as well. I recommend Lara to anyone who wants their pet to be well taken care of in their absence

Brittany is the dream sitter for my Jacky! I couldn’t ask for anyone better. She comes to visit him twice a week when I’m at the office to keep him company and take him for walks. Brittany is reliable, always on time, responsive, and adapts very well to Jacky’s needs and little quirks. She has already built a wonderful bond with him. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a truly wonderful sitter for their pet! 🐾💕

Emma is an awesome sitter! We traveled with our dog to Montreal for a concert, normally we would not take our pet but we were continuing from there and not returning home. We thought a few drop ins for walks, pee breaks and company would be enough but our dog started barking if we left him alone in the room. Emma was very flexible and was able to stay for the duration of the concert (6hrs) as well as a couple of additional stretches so we could go out. She literally saved our trip, we would not have been able to go without her! Emma is friendly, sociable, responsive and got along well with our pet. I would highly recommend her.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
