About: I’ve been taking care of pets for longer than I can remember! Working at the Canine Club brought me great experience with caring for over 30 dogs at once, which included feed time, play time, and care. I worked overnights to insure the safety for each and every dog. Caring for animals brings me a new perspective on life, it feels me with so much joy and love! At the moment I work nights on the weekends and I’m not in school currently so I’m free for any of your pet friendly needs! I insure your animals get the loving and care they need while you’re away. I make sure they get to the walks they deserve and every ounce of my attention.
“Très bonne gardienne. Elle m'a donné des nouvelles et ma chienne semblait très heureuse en sa compagnie. Je vais recontacter Sara avec plaisir pour mes prochaines absences!”

“Mason is really great. He makes you feel comfortable from the start. I knew he was someone I can trust with my little furry treasures even from the first meeting. Will continue to use his services and no one else.”

About: I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats through long-term house sitting as well as throughout my personal life. Over the years, friends, family, and homeowners have trusted me to care for their pets while they traveled, including extended stays in Australia, New York, and Las Vegas. In Australia, I cared for a Poodle and a cat for one month while staying in the owners’ home. In New York, I looked after a Dogo Argentino for one month. In Las Vegas, I completed two additional long-term house sits: one for a month with a Chihuahua and a large Golden Retriever, and another for four weeks caring for two medium-sized dogs—a mixed breed and a Poodle. Beyond house sitting, I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. I grew up with breeds of all sizes, from Weimaraner's to Poodles, and have also cared for Cocker Spaniels, Schnauzers, and many mixed breeds. Friends, family, and roommates regularly trusted me to care for their dogs while they were away, often for a week or longer. I’ve also fostered rescue dogs until they found loving permanent homes. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique personality and routine, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and well-being while keeping owners updated throughout their stay. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention throughout the day. I can easily adapt to your pet’s routine, whether they need walks, playtime, feeding, medication reminders, or simply companionship. I’m available on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays with advance notice. I live in a spacious 5½ apartment that provides a quiet, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment. One of the bedrooms is rarely used, giving pets extra space to relax if they prefer a quieter area. The apartment has built-in air conditioning to keep pets comfortable year-round, as well as a large private back terrace where they can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine between potty breaks. I’m just a 3-minute walk from Parc La Fontaine, making it easy to provide regular walks, exercise, and plenty of outdoors. I always follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.
About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and looking after them has always been a part of my everyday routine. From friends, family, and neighbors often count on me to help out with walks, feedings, baths, or just keeping their dogs company when they’re away. I love getting to know each dog’s personality—whether they’re playful, shy, or just want a calm cuddle—and making sure they feel safe and cared for while their people are gone. I’m a full-time student, but I keep Fridays through Sundays open for pet care. Weekday afternoons can also be flexible, so I have time to walk, play with, and look after your pups when you need an extra hand. I make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable, whether they’re staying at my place or I’m visiting yours. At home, I have a fenced yard and open space for them to roam and fun. I always supervise playtime, keep fresh water available, and can crate dogs if that’s what they’re used to. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routines so they feel secure and cared for.
“Marilyn was really responsible gentleman and communicated perfectly. If you are looking for a sitter but it's hard for you to find someone you can trust she is the perfect person for it. From now on she would be my go to sitter!”

“It was a pleasure to work with Umut. He was very very polite, conscientious and took great care of my old lady, including giving her medication. He was 100% reliable and I felt confident my kitty was in great hands. I will certainly use his services again next time I go on vacation. Thank you again Umut”

About: I’ve had dogs by my side my entire life and couldn't imagine it any other way. I currently have two socialized dogs who enjoy the company of others. Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to focus on your dog’s specific routine. Whether they want to join our pack for backyard play or just nap near my desk while I work, they’ll be in a safe, loving, and supervised environment. I work from home full-time, which means your dog will have constant companionship and a consistent routine. My schedule is very flexible, allowing for frequent potty breaks, backyard playtime, and mid-day walks. Because I’m already caring for my own two dogs throughout the day, adding a new friend into our daily rhythm is seamless. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods, as my "office" is right where the action is! Safety is my top priority. I live in a pet-friendly home with plenty of space for lounging and play. I have two friendly, socialized dogs of my own who are great at welcoming new guests. I believe in slow, supervised introductions to ensure everyone is comfortable. I am diligent about following your specific feeding and medication schedules, and I provide regular photo updates so you can see how much fun your pup is having. My goal is to provide a secure, "home-away-from-home" experience.

I’m comfortable with overnight sitting, drop-in medication administration, walking various sizes, following owner-outlined instructions, and managing multi-dog/pet households. My cat care experience of 2 years includes drop-in feeding, play, and checking water levels for 3 cats. — I speak English/Je parle Français/Hablo Español I’m a newer Montréal resident and currently working part-time, so I have a flexible weekday/weekend schedule to make your pet(s) my priority for both shorter visits and longer stays! At a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine so that pets feel safe and comfortable while their owner’s away. I follow instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific medications or dietary needs, if required. While making sure your fur family gets plenty of attention, exercise, and enrichment, I’ll also be keeping your home safe during sittings.
“Iván was great! I was scared of going out of town and leaving my cat alone due to her health condition, but Iván took great care of her. He was quick to reply to messages and sent regular updates (text + photos), which made me feel at ease while away. Iván also handled a health episode related to my cat's health condition in a really effective and caring way, something that I'm very grateful for. If you are looking for someone to take good care of your pet, I definitely recommend Iván!”

My personal highlights definitely include a family friend's rambunctious little puppy and my own lovely two dogs and two cats as they've grown into old age. Now away at university, I've been missing long walks and playtime, and I'd love to get to know your pets! I'm available at all hours of the day to help care for your beloved pets! University will reclaim all my waking hours during finals season in a few months, but for now I'm free as a bird. I can comfortably administer medication at regular intervals, care for senior animals with special needs, give baths, and work with puppies on basic training. I don't shy away from messes or fur. I'll ensure your pet receives all the love and careful attention they need!

About: I've grown up with large dogs my entire life, and don't mind handling one that is a bit more on the energetic side. I've been around horses since I was 2-years old, and have done barn chores and taken care of them since I was 11. I can perform basic first-aid and provide medications as needed, and I am willing to learn about your pet and their needs/habits in order to do what I can to provide the best care! Currently, I am taking a class that runs Monday-Thursday morning from 8:30am-11am, and I take care of horses on the weekends from 7:30am-12:30pm. I would have availability throughout the day on most days to take care of pets and perform the tasks that are asked of me. I have a pretty flexible schedule and am able to come walk pets almost any hour of the day. I will keep your house tidy, and don't mind a little additional clean-up if it is required.

She was an amazing pet sitter! She was patient with my dogs, and I came home to everything clean and exactly as I left it. She followed all of my instructions carefully, kept me updated, and was always attentive, responsible, and kind. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing my pets were in good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter

Evelyne has been helping us train our dog to be calmer and more comfortable around people, and we’ve already seen such a big difference. She’s so patient, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Every session is relaxed and positive. You can tell she genuinely cares about both the dogs and their owners, and she always makes us feel supported and encouraged. We’re so happy with how far our dog has come and are excited to keep working with her. If you’re looking for someone who makes training enjoyable, I would absolutely recommend Evelyne!

My dog Mika really enjoyed spending time with Lara! Her presence and care made Mika's time alone much easier and she was noticeably calmer when I came back home. Lara took the time to play and cuddle with Mika so she can spend her energy and just give her some good company. The whole experience was very smooth and stress free for me as well. I recommend Lara to anyone who wants their pet to be well taken care of in their absence

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
