About: I've had nearly as many experiences with cats at the vet clinic I volunteered at as with dogs. I am strongly aware of their temperaments and can easily recognize what their body language signifies. Notably, I don't worry too much when a cat likes to spend its time alone, nor do I mind a kitten's occasionally sharp playfulness. All that matters to me is a cat's well-being, and I am aware of how this usually depends on a sitter's capacity to adapt to a cat's needs. I am as adaptable with cats as I have mentioned to be with dogs, more so even, because sometimes it's simpler to read a cat than a dog (in my personal opinion -- cats are quite "blunt" when it comes to showing you what they want!). I have a great ease of communication with cats, and if your cat is still in training and learning not to claw furniture, I am more than willing to help in upholding the training if I'm house-sitting. (PS: yes, I am the type of guy to sit next to a cat at a house party and spend all my time petting the cat so long as the cat accepts it... their calm aura is exactly what I need sometimes.)

About: I've own dogs since I was a kid. Grew up in a small village in the Laurentides. I'm currently the dad of an amazing Belgian Malinois so no dog are too much for me! I've been taking care of friends and neighbours dogs as I grew up and in college aswell! Me and my partner work at home. There is always one of us at home and when we go out we always take the dog with us. She is part of our family so your dog will be with a human 99% of the time! About: Since the age of 8 years old our household always had a pet. I had guinea pigs growing up, birds, fish and then we got our dog that we had for 14 years. I currently have a guinea pig that I rescued from the SPCA. I'm self employed and I am a super active person. I'm always walking on the canal during breaks to stay moving. In addition, my office is also my home base so I'm always around! I always approach animals softly, making sure they feel trusted by me. I've spent time volunteering at her clinic, helping care for animals and becoming comfortable around pets with different needs. She's taught me how to recognize that a pet may not be feeling well, how to respond appropriately, how to administer oral medications, and how to know when it would be important to contact the owner. She is also the reason I am incredibly comfortable around any and all kinds of animals. I've cared for dogs of different ages, sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I'm happy to adapt my care to each pet's individual needs. I have never met a pet I didn't immediately love, and you can expect plenty of photo updates... Finding the right angle is my favourite activity! From potty walks to long playdates to ensuring giving elderly pets medicine on time, I am an organized and responsible animal lover who will ensure your pet's safety while making them feel loved and taken care of! About: I've grown up with large dogs my entire life, and don't mind handling one that is a bit more on the energetic side. I've been around horses since I was 2-years old, and have done barn chores and taken care of them since I was 11.
