My style of pet care is warm, calm and attentive. I have experience with a wide range of pet needs. I genuinely take the time to understand each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe and understood while their owners are away. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats across different life stages, including puppies, senior pets, and animals with anxiety or special care needs. I’m also comfortable with basic medication administration when needed and always make sure instructions are followed carefully. I’m certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR through the Canadian Red Cross, which adds an extra layer of reassurance when it comes to safety and emergencies. Beyond the practical side of care, I think what really matters is how pets feel with me. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and I aim to create a low-stress environment where pets can relax, trust, and feel at home until their family returns.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and familiar as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I follow instructions carefully, especially around feeding, walks, medication, and any specific habits or preferences each pet has. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs, whether that means calm companionship, playtime, exercise, or simply giving them space and reassurance. My goal is always to make sure they feel safe, understood, and well cared for. I also respect your home and keep things clean and tidy, including feeding areas, litter boxes where applicable, and any mess from walks or daily care. I make sure to follow all safety instructions closely so everything stays secure. I’m certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR through the Canadian Red Cross, and I’m comfortable with basic medication if needed. Overall, I aim to make things easy and stress-free for both you and your pets while you’re away.

She is responsive, deeply caring and does thorough meet and greets to make sure she has all the information she needs to be a superstar. My cats and I couldn't be happier with Heather. She was so detailed, so caring and so compassionate to my fur babies. She handled my cat's medication perfectly. You can tell everything about her care for animals by the fact my often temperamental cat immediately came to her and sat by her during our meet and greet. Heather is amazing with my dogs, especially with the puppy! She takes the time to make sure all of their needs are met and gives them lots of attention, care, and love. Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I have a flexible schedule and can prioritize visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I am able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care, as well as provide consistent attention for pets who need regular routines or extra support.
