About: Hi 👋 I’m Jingyi — pet sitter, dog walker, and animal lover based in Montreal 🐾 I’ve always loved the calm, joyful energy animals bring, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. My goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while giving owners peace of mind through attentive communication and regular updates. ✨ Why pet parents choose Joyful Paws 🧘 Calm & Attentive Care I keep my bookings limited so every pet receives personalized attention, patience, and a low-stress environment tailored to their needs and energy level. 💬 Frequent Updates & Trustworthy Communication One thing my clients consistently appreciate is how attentive and communicative I am. I send regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and cared for. 📸 Thoughtful Pet Photos Included I love capturing natural little moments during walks, playtime, or cozy rest breaks — simple memories you can look back on while you’re away. ✅ Reliable & Detail-Oriented With my background in business analysis, I’m organized, dependable, and attentive to routines, feeding instructions, medications, and small details that matter to your pet’s comfort. 🏡 My Care Style I work from home most of the week, allowing me to provide flexible and consistent companionship throughout the day. I live in a clean, calm, child-free apartment and currently do not have pets of my own, creating a quiet and dedicated environment for your pet to feel relaxed and secure 💛 I work from home most of the week, which allows me to be present and flexible. I’m typically home during the day and able to provide consistent attention, playtime, and companionship. I live in a clean, calm, child-free apartment. I don’t currently have pets of my own, so your pet will have a quiet and dedicated space. I always make sure dogs are safely leashed and walked in familiar, pet-friendly areas. About: I grew up with 30+ bunnies in my backyard, and had 3 cats. My mom still has 2 rescued dogs and 4 rescued cats and 1 bird that i babysit sometimes while working from home. I currently live with my sister that has a small pugchi mix so i’m used to being the babysitter for her as well when she goes to work or on trips. I took care of 2 ex-boyfriend’s dogs that were a german shepherd and a golden retriever. I work from home 100% of the time (so I can stay for as long as needed and give your home and furry friends all the love and attention they deserve!) All i need is for you to have reliable Wi-Fi i can connect to in order to work. Im able to give your pet attention throughout the whole day and go for potty breaks when needed. Walks would be before work, during lunchbreak and after work. I speak FR and EN. I can give you updates and pictures as much as you need to feel like your baby is safe. I’m a very calm person and would be working on my computer wether it’s a weekday or weekend so your home is in good hands. I can also do a house clean for a fee if you’re interested.

About: I have been around and taken care of many family and friends pets, on occasion, throughout my life. I just recently officially introduced myself to the pet owner life. No matter the personality or energy level of your pet I am ready to be there and take care. I mainly work as an actor. This means that most of the time I have off unless I have a role. Due to the fact that my availability is completely open most of time and I am not fixed to a weekly schedule, I am able to offer my services any time. Even last minute. The owner would be fully aware of anything I can/will do. I am there to not only take care of your pet but also your home.

About: Hello! My name is Shu. I am an experienced pet sitter for dogs, cats, and bunnies! I have lived with them all (at one point all at the same time) my whole life and currently I have a corgi at home. She is very friendly to anything she sees. She is also spayed so it is ok that yours is not fixed. I am currently working at home doing freelancing so it allows me to keep an eye on your fur babies at all times and take them for a walk as frequent as they need. At where I live we have a dog park just right downstairs of my apartment so your fur babies would always have some friends to hangout with. I would prefer small/medium sized fur babies but open to sit them in your home if you prefer.

About: I believe animals are always communicating with us, and I approach pet care by listening first and responding with patience and care. I have 12 years of experience with my own dog and have worked through reactivity, anxiety, fear of noises, and leash pulling using positive reinforcement. I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour and psychology, which has shaped how I care for animals today. I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)

About: I have about 2 years of experience caring for dogs, mainly helping out with my uncle’s two dogs every summer. I handle feeding, walking, and keeping them company, and I’ve also pet sat for longer periods. I genuinely love being around animals and they tend to warm up to me really quickly. I’m responsible, attentive, and make sure pets feel safe and comfortable while you’re away! My weekdays are flexible depending on the booking, and my weekends are usually very open, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and consistent care. I make sure they stay on their routine and feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day. It’s something I genuinely enjoy, so it never feels like a chore. I adapt my care depending on the pet and the home environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine so the pet feels comfortable and stress free, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions. I make sure the space stays clean and that the pet is safe and well cared for at all times.

About: I've been around dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Growing up, there was always a pet in my home, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life since childhood. Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
