About: I have loved and cared for animals since I was a child. Growing up, I had experience caring for many different kinds of animals, including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, geese, silkworms, butterflies, ants, and mantises. Because of this, I learned early how to observe animals carefully, understand their needs, and be patient and gentle with different personalities. What sets me apart is my lifelong love for animals and my attention to detail. I understand that every pet has its own routine, comfort level, and personality. Some pets need space, some need extra attention, and some simply need a calm, clean, and safe environment. I’m happy to follow each owner’s instructions carefully and provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box cleaning, walks, companionship, and photo updates. I will care for your pet with patience, respect, and genuine love, just like I would care for my own. I’m also very attentive to animal body language and behavior. I pay close attention to their signals, habits, comfort level, and boundaries. I understand that animals communicate in subtle ways, through posture, movement, sounds, energy, and routine changes. This helps me respond gently and appropriately, whether a pet needs space, reassurance, playtime, or extra care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I spend a lot of time at home and can provide regular attention throughout the day. I’m available for feeding, fresh water, playtime, litter box cleaning, photo updates, and gentle companionship. I’m also flexible with each pet’s routine and will follow the owner’s instructions carefully. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and cat-friendly environment. We have experience caring for cats, and our home has litter boxes, cat toys, scratching posts, cat trees, cozy resting areas, and food and water bowls. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I understand that every pet has a different personality, so I give shy cats space and offer attention to cats who enjoy company. I keep the litter area clean, follow feeding instructions carefully, and send photo updates so owners can feel reassured while they are away. In a client’s home, I will respect their space, follow their instructions, keep everything tidy, and make sure their pet has fresh water, food, a clean litter box, and calm companionship.

Dogs have always been a big part of our lives. We both grew up with them and loved every moment of it. Over the years, we've shared our home with a basset hound, a bernese mountain dog, a toy poodle, a pug, and a polish lowland sheepdog, and trained them all ourselves. Each one had their own personality and temperament, and each one taught us something new! We're an active couple and genuinely love bringing dogs along for runs or long walks. We currently don't have a dog at home, so honestly, it would be such a pleasure to go on walks and runs with yours. Whether your pup is a couch potato or a bundle of energy, we will adapt and match their style. We both work from home most days, which means our days are pretty flexible. We can easily fit drop-in visits and dog walks into our routine without it feeling rushed. Whether it's a morning walk, a midday check-in, or an afternoon visit, we're able to adapt to your pet's schedule rather than the other way around! When we come to your home, our priority is making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their own space. We know that animals are always more relaxed in a familiar environment, so we follow their routines, respect their habits, and take the time to let shy or nervous pets warm up to us at their own pace. For dog walks, we stay attentive at all times. We keep an eye on body language, stay in safe areas, and make sure every outing is a good experience for your pup. Your home and your pet are in careful, caring hands!

About: I worked as a professional dog groomer for almost 10 years and also have experience working at a dog daycare, so I’m comfortable handling everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs, as well as small and large breeds. I have a small Pomeranian named Brie. She is 2 years old, weighs 2.5 kg, and is full of energy! She absolutely loves playing with other dogs and is the center of my world. Because of her, I truly understand how important it is to find someone you can completely trust to care for your pet. I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day and will rarely be left alone. If I ever need to step out, it’s only for a short errand, and I always make sure your dog is safe and comfortable. Every dog has their own routine, and I believe it’s important to keep them as comfortable as possible while you’re away. I carefully follow all the instructions you provide, from feeding schedules and medication (if needed) to potty breaks, playtime, and walking routines. Whether your dog prefers several short walks throughout the day or longer adventures, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I live just minutes from Angrignon Park, which is a wonderful place for enriching walks, fresh air, and plenty of new sights and smells for dogs who enjoy exploring. I treat every dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. My goal is to provide exceptional care for your dog and complete peace of mind for you. Because I work from home, dogs in my care receive plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day and are rarely left alone. I also believe in keeping each dog as comfortable as possible by following the their routine, from feeding schedules and medications (if needed) to walks, playtime, and rest.

Cristina was amazing with Yuki! He has separation anxiety and normally howls when I leave, but with Cristina he was completely relaxed and didn’t howl once — a first for him! He was comfortable enough to lie down beside her, and they went on some nice walks together. Cristina was patient, attentive, and made Yuki feel comfortable right away. I felt very reassured leaving him with her and would definitely book with her again. Highly recommended!

Pedro, and his wife, took excellent care of my dog during the day for a few days after he had his castration surgery and had to stay quiet. They are very nice people, they kept me up to date with how he was doing and even gave me a few tips to help with his pulling while on leash walks...and it's helping! They are excellent with dogs. I would certainly look to book with them if I need dog related services in the future.

We took our dog Harry with us on a weekend trip to Montreal, and he was not great at being alone in the hotel. I reached out to several sitters on Rover, and Sarah responded within seconds! She gladly took Harry for 2 daycare days. He got to play with other dogs versus sitting alone, which was amazing for him. Sarah was great, and Harry was very happy to go back on day 2. Thank you Sarah!

About: Hello everyone! I've always been a passionate animal lover. Growing up, I was surrounded by pets; I had a parrot, 2 cats, and a dog, and they taught me what unconditional love looks like. I have more than 16 years of experience caring for dogs, and I offer basic training with treats (sit/down/stay/come). A walk in the park is therapeutic, especially with a buddy by my side I truly cherish time spent with pets and am inspired by their perspective. To me, happiness is cuddles and long walks with a wagging tail beside me. Pets understand us like no one else does, and that bond means the world to me. The connection between pets and people never stops amazing me, I can't get enough of it. My curiosity drives me to understand each pet individually, so I can care for them in the way that suits them best. I promise your buddy will be loved, well cared for, and always excited to come back to me! :) I work from home, I am pretty flexible. I take breaks to go to the park on lunch and evening, I would love to have some company! I am observative and attentive to pets needs, I walk and feed pets on time and they're always happy to see me again! We become good friends :)

There are 979 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Sainte-Catherine. About 87% of Sainte-Catherine sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's leash and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalized care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Sainte-Catherine commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in QC ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines such as the DHPP or DA2PP, Rabies, and Bordetella.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
