“Marie-Hélène a fait un travail fantastique avec ma chatte Lilas. Elle m’a donné de nouvelles et envoyé des photos tous les jours, ce qui m’a vraiment rassurée pendant mon absence. Elle a été très attentionnée, et la communication était excellente du début à la fin. Je recommande Marie-Hélène sans hésitation :)”

“Absolutely thrilled with the care Aijun (and Clara) provided for Haku and Kimi while we were away! This was our second time using them, and once again, they went above and beyond. They sent regular updates and adorable videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. Both cats looked relaxed and content, a clear sign they were well cared for and loved. On top of that, our plants were perfectly watered, and we returned to a spotless home. Truly fantastic service all around. We’re so grateful and will absolutely be using them again. Highly recommend!”

Vous pouvez me faire confiance!
About: I've grown up with animals, especially dogs and absolutely love them. I have volunteered at the SPCA and got my first dog when I was 12. I absolutely love all kids of dogs, whether they are large, small, laid back or have tons of energy! I am a behaviour technician for the school board so I have summers off. I love being outside and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I am very active and love going on walks. I have a husky and I am constantly making sure he expends his physical as well as his mental energy. I am comfortable crate training and also can be open to training in other areas (potty train, obedience, food/toy aggression).
About: My own dog was adopted at 1 year old and came with a lot of anxiety — he was nervous, easily startled, and afraid of children. With long-term training, consistency, and a lot of love, he has transformed into a calm, happy, confident boy. Because of this journey, I understand anxious dogs deeply: their triggers, their body language, their need for slow introductions, and how important gentle structure is for them to feel safe. Living with him (and two cats!) has taught me patience and how to keep a peaceful, multi-pet household where every animal has their own space and comfort. I’m very comfortable helping dogs who are shy, sensitive, or still learning how to trust. What sets me apart is my calm, detail-focused approach: • I follow your dog’s routine exactly • I know how to support anxious or rescue pups • I use positive, gentle reinforcement • I keep the environment clean, safe, and supervised • I adjust walks and playtime based on energy and comfort level • I’m comfortable with medication or special needs Your dog will get quiet spaces, predictable routines, soft encouragement, and plenty of affection (only if they want it!). And you’ll receive daily updates and photos so you always know your pup is happy and doing well. 🐾💛 My goal is simple: to give every dog the same patience and love that helped my own pup blossom. Pet care is already part of my daily life. I have two cats and a dog, so my routine includes morning/evening walks, feeding times, play sessions, and lots of supervision throughout the day. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which lets me give frequent potty breaks, calm company, and consistent care. Your pet simply joins my clean, quiet, and structured daily routine. 💛🐾 I keep a calm, clean, and supervised home where pets have their own safe spaces and slow, gentle introductions. I have a large backyard with a natural tree hedge that creates a quiet, private, and secure play area. I follow each pet’s routine exactly and monitor all interactions for comfort. If I’m in your home, I maintain the same structure and care with frequent updates. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. 💛🐾
About: I have taken care of many pets for some years now and whatever their size and I always love playing with them outside or inside I am quite energetic too My wife and I love pets and there is always someone available to play and to care for your pet as we both work from home ! We are mostly available depending on our jobs I have a condo and I live in a peaceful and big neighborhood where there is loads of space for a walk and multiple parks to play at
“J'ai adoré Anastasyia. Ce fut une expérience très enrichissante. Elle est très attentionnée, elle m'a envoyé plusieurs photos de mes chats! Elle dégage une excellente énergie et inspire beaucoup de confiance!”

“Rojina is the best! She won the heart of my very shy cat right away and was able to pet him every time she visited. She is super reliable, I got photos and a report at each visit so I didn’t have to worry about anything. I would hire her again for sure!”

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and caring for them has always been one of my biggest passions. I previously worked at the SPCA because I strongly believe in animal welfare and rescue over supporting pet stores. Over the years I’ve cared for rats, rabbits, bunnies, geckos, hamsters, birds, squirrels, pigs, cats, and dogs. Every species has different physical and mental needs, and I take the time to learn what allows each animal to truly thrive—not just survive. I’ve never believed in keeping animals in the small cages sold in most pet stores. Instead, I build large, custom enclosures designed specifically for each individual animal’s needs, giving them plenty of room to explore, play, and live comfortably. Daily care is something I take very seriously. Every animal receives individual attention, enrichment, playtime, fresh food and water, and their living space is spot-cleaned and maintained every single day to ensure they stay healthy, happy, and stress-free. Whether I’m caring for my own animals or someone else’s, I treat every pet as if they were my own family. My goal is always to provide a safe, enriching, and loving environment where every animal receives the care, patience, and respect they deserve. Pet sitting fits well into my schedule because I have a flexible routine and can plan my days around the pets in my care. I make it a priority to stick to each pet’s normal feeding, exercise, and medication schedule, and I’m available for morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight visits depending on the owner’s needs. I only take on a manageable number of pets at a time so that every animal receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I always follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll make sure they have fresh food and water, a clean living space, plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection based on their personality. I pay close attention to their behavior and well-being, keep your home clean and secure, and will happily send regular photo and video updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I am a huge animal lover and a Dog Whisperer as some of my friends call me. I have been a dog owner as long as I remember. I already have a furry kid Bella, who is very friendly with other dogs and loves play dates with her friends. I am used to dog walking and pet sitting for my family, friends and neighbors. When we moved from US, we had to face many issues in regards to Bellas transport and stay and I know the feeling when you are unable to give your fur kid the best of best while moving or when you are on a much needed vacation. I will always keep you updated with the photos of your pet having fun. I will be right here when you need someone to take care of your pet just as part of a family! Doggy Day Care - Saturday, Sunday and Holidays Doggy Boarding - Friday Evening after 5.30 to Sunday Night 8.00 Dog Walking - Saturday and Sunday Someone would always be with your pup during his/her stay at our place. Depending on the energy of the pup and weather, we will head out for multiple walks in the park or stay inside playing. We have a fenced backyard which would be accessible for play time. In case its snowing or raining hard, we prefer to stay inside and have fun playing with toys, balls and what not? 😊

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Carignan

Merci! 🤩

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Carignan choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
