About: I have many years of experience dealing with dogs & puppies - having had a couple of them myself. I treat dogs with love and care, always tailoring to each individual pup. I also have experience in dealing with reactive dogs and physical issues (tri-pods). I love spending time with dogs and making them feel happy and taken care of :) Just starting out on this journey - have always wanted to do this as I love spending time and playing with dogs … what better time to do this than now! I work full time but only in office Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday - I also live right next to my office so able to go home at lunch or at any time during the day! Other than that, home all the time! Lots of playing and cuddles! I live in a quiet neighbourhood, close to dog parks and green areas/parks. I can tailor to you and your dogs needs - whether your dog needs to be in a crate or not, special needs or requests, anything to make you and your furry friend comfortable!
“Eamonn and his girlfriend were truly amazing at taking care of our pups Brownie and Zelda! ? they are super kind and knowledgeable about dogs along with the fact that they love them so much that we couldn’t have find a better match for our dogs! They were also super kind to send us updates regularly so we didn’t miss our pups too much ❤️ and will take them to the terrace to take some sunshine, which is such a plus! we are truly happy and our pups were too, i totally recommend them ✨”

“Our dog stayed with Danielle for 5 days while we were on vacation, and he got to do all of his favorite activities during these days. We received lots of photos, videos and updates. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in the care of Michelle and her partner, and her dog Benny.”

“Noah took such amazing care of my dog Kaya for a week. He is such a sweet person and not once did I feel worried about Kaya being with him. He communicated extremely well, down to the little details and was sure to send me photo updates. He showed lots of care and would ask questions on anything he was unsure about. Worth noting, Kaya needed to continue her eye drops medication for the duration of her stay with Noah and Noah was very willing, and did it with ease and care. Kaya also absolutely loves the dog park and Noah spoiled her by bringing her to her fav one often. Thanks so much Noah! Hope you and Kaya get to meet again.”

About: Over 20 years in handling dogs Kara: grew up with huskies and had her own until her passing from cancer a year ago Gabby: had an American Staffordshire for 11yrs until his recent passing We both know what it means to handle stubborn/strong headed dogs. We currently have a 2.5 yrs old husky/swiss shepherd mix who is a rescue. She is very calm and gets along well with other dogs. There is always one of us home to take care of the dogs, give medication, take them out for a walk or just cuddle up with them. We have a two floor house with a backyard which makes it easy to manage two dogs or more. We are Very comfortable with administering medications (we had a dog with cancer medication and another with seizure medication)
“We’re happy to have found Marie-Anne and will surely contact her for future travels. Our cat stayed with Marie-Anne for a few days and we received daily updates, photos and short videos.”

“This was our first time leaving Amelie with someone new, so we were understandably a bit nervous. Stephanie made the whole experience very easy and reassuring from the start. She was kind, responsive, and kept us updated with photos throughout the stay. Amelie looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for, which gave us a lot of peace of mind while we were away. We could tell Stephanie genuinely cared about her and treated her like one of her own. We would absolutely trust her with Amelie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter.”

“Delilah was well cared for staying with Dan while I was away. I knew she was in great hands! Dan was super kind & communicative and sent photos/updates during her stay. Delilah can be an anxious pup, but I could tell she was comfortable with Dan. I would gladly book again! :)”

“Excellent Dog Sitter! We had an amazing experience with Amy. She took such great care of our dog, giving him lots of love, attention, and playtime. She kept us updated with photos and messages, which made us feel at ease while we were away. Our pup was happy, relaxed, and clearly well taken care of when we returned. We highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter for Luna ✨ From the moment we left, Chanel kept us reassured with frequent updates and the cutest photos. It was clear that Luna was receiving so much love, attention, and care while we were away. When Luna came back home, she was happy, relaxed, and her usual cheerful self. We could immediately tell how much she had bonded with Chanel and how comfortable she felt in her care 💕 A special mention to Roo, who is such a sweet and caring dog 💕 . During Luna’s first days, Roo helped her settle in and provided wonderful companionship, which made the transition so much easier. Chanel has a special gift with dogs. She is incredibly professional, kind, and genuinely passionate about what she does. You can see how much she loves animals, and she cared for Luna as if she were her own dog. We are beyond grateful and would trust Chanel with Luna again without hesitation. Highly recommend!”

“Andrea was wonderful with Bernie, being mindful of his injured leg, feeding him his medicines, taking him for walks, and generally taking very good care of him. This is his third stay with Andrea and there will be many more!”

“I met with Lisa and my dog at the park 2 days before and I felt confident right away. She communicated very well and sent me pictures and updates. Josephine seemed to have had a good time! I recommend Lisa and will call her back.”

“Viviane et sa famille ont été absolument formidables avec ma petite Rosie! Ils ont pris soin d’elle avec tellement d’attention et de douceur, et m’ont envoyé des photos et vidéos tout au long de son séjour. Je suis profondément reconnaissante pour leurs soins, leur patience et leur gentillesse. Merci encore, je recommande Viviane sans hésiter!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Westmount
I had a last minute change to my travel plans which meant I needed to find a cat sitter ASAP. Ruqayya stepped in and was a life-saver. She was quick and responsive communicator and gave frequent updates about my cat's well-being. She provided an environment that was safe and hospitable for my cat, and provided the care and attention that he needed. I recommend Ruqayya as a sitter for your pet, and I plan to be a repeat client with her in the future.

Viktoriia was amazing! I contacted her a few weeks ago for boarding and she was so kind and helpful. I was a bit nervous since it was my first time using Rover but she set up a meet and greet which made the process so easy. During boarding she was always communicating and sending pics with updates. I highly recommend Viktoriia!

Mengyi was wonderful with Moon! She took him on park outings, and sent so many cute photos of him playing with her dog Peaches. Moon looked happy and well cared for the whole time, he even came back fluffier than when I dropped him off! I’d book with Kate again in a heartbeat 💗

Laura took great care of my baby Chilita! Chilita has separation anxiety and can be nervous in new situations, and Laura handled her very well. She kept me updated during her stay, which gave me peace of mind. Chilita came home happy and very tired after what seems to have been a fun and active stay. I really appreciate Laura taking care of her and would definitely recommend her to other dog owners. ❤️

I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Yuning and Jack. It was my first time leaving my dog for more than a couple days but every single step of the process was made incredibly easy by Yuning and Jack. It was so reassuring to know my dog was in such caring and loving hands while i was away. I received so many pictures and in every single one he had a big smile on his face. I came back to Billie completely clean and not wanting to leave their home!! I genuinely can’t say enough good things about my experience with them and I will 100% book again the next time i’m away.

We had such a great experience with Emily! Our high-energy pup had the best time with her and their dog Harlow. They kept her active with runs, trips to the farm, and visits to the park, and we could tell she was very well cared for and loved. We would absolutely recommend her and would happily book with her again!

Good communication for setting up the sit. Collette seems very kind and I felt secure in leaving my 2 little Shih Tzu’s in the care of her and her roommate. There were not a lot of updates while I was away but I didn’t request them either. There isn’t much I can say except drop off and pick up was fine and pups seemed happy when I picked them up.

Always a great stay with Oluwakemi. Daisy came back happy and healthy. I had some questions after the stay about how it went and Oluwakemi was so responsive and helpful — she delivers the open communication you hope for with a sitter when you entrust your pup to them

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
