Before a stay, it’s important for us to understand your pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs. We’re happy to administer medication and follow special diets, including homemade meals, as long as clear instructions are provided in advance. We ask owners to be upfront about any behavioral concerns such as anxiety, reactivity, escape tendencies, or known triggers, so we can plan appropriately and keep everyone safe. Ideally dogs should be house trained, and we appreciate clarity around any aggression toward people or other animals. We’re happy to care for both puppies and senior pets, and we take routines seriously: feeding schedules, walk preferences, play style, and rest time. The more we know ahead of time, the smoother and calmer the experience will be for your pet.

🐶 Since we both work from home, pets are part of our daily routine. Dogs typically get either three longer walks per day (morning, afternoon/evening, and a short night walk) or several shorter walks, depending on their needs and energy level. During walks and at home we mix in play such as fetch, tug, and light enrichment, always adapting to whether a dog prefers calm or active engagement. We’re close to Angrignon park, which allows for longer, more stimulating walks when needed. 🐱 For cats, we like to give structured play sessions using strings, lasers, or gentle play, always letting the cat lead and respecting their boundaries. We try balance play with quiet presence so cats can engage or relax at their own pace.
