I discovered my love for dogs as an adult, especially through caring for my rescue dog Billy, whom I cared for until he was 15 years old. That experience taught me unconditional love, presence and consistency, and how important it is to make dogs feel safe, loved, and understood. I love spending time with dogs, taking them on walks, discovering new spots, playing with them, and helping them learn new things in a fun and positive way. I have experience caring for large dogs and have successfully helped improve a dog’s walking behaviour, obedience, and friendliness through consistency, attention, and positive reinforcement (and of course treats). I believe dogs naturally trust me because I give them a lot of care and attention while always prioritizing their well-being and comfort. My husband has grown up with large dogs his entire life and he seems like the dog whisperer! They really are man’s best friend! I will gladly follow any dietary requirements, routines, or household rules you have to ensure consistency in your dog’s training and daily habits. I provide plenty of outdoor activities, exercise, affection, and mental stimulation so your dog feels happy, relaxed, and fulfilled while in my care. I am also open to caring for puppies and helping with basic training and socialization.
