Availability
Mari works from home, so she can come and visit your pets up to 3 times per day. She has limited availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but might still be able to do 1-2 visits on those days. Anthony has classes in the morning Monday-Friday.

*This profile is for both Marilyn & her partner Anthony* ***We are bilingual French/English. Vous pouvez aussi nous écrire en français!*** Mari has adopted 2 kittens in her adult life, and her oldest recently passed away at almost 18 years young, which Anthony had the chance to also take care of for several years. Mari was blessed with also being able to share the life of a sweet elderly French bulldog for several years, Anthony’s beloved companion for 12 years. Anthony has experience fostering 3 dogs (large mixed breeds). Over the years, we have also taken care of our friends/neighbours' cats and dogs when they were away for a few days. It would be our honour to be involved in taking care and loving your small pets while you are away for work/vacation, and make sure that it is a stress free time for all, as we know from having had several petsitters over the years the importance of finding one that is trustworthy to be in your home and to attend to the needs of your furry kids. We come with some "special" expertise (thanks to our previous lovely companions giving us lived experience, and the extensive readings we have done on those topics) regarding dog training, behavior management, CDK, cardiac disease, IBD, picky eating, post-surgery care, UTIs, pancreatitis, food allergies, arthritis, senior care. We can administer oral medications, including piling or syringing, subcutaneous fluids, transdermal (ear) medications, eye drops, nose sprays, and prepare meals according to your specific instructions, as we know that you know your pet best. We love cuddling with lap cats and dogs, going on walks in the neighborhood, and playing with pets. Looking forward to getting to know you and your little(s) one(s)! N.B: We offer drop-in visits/walks in time windows and are not able to guarantee an exact arrival time as it might vary each day based on our work schedule/other pre-existing engagements/weather conditions and transportation, unless the time selected is medically required. Drop-in/walk times might go a bit under or over the number of minutes booked depending on the needs of your pet on that specific day, but we make sure to always average out the visit times so that you get at a minimum the full amount of minutes you paid for (unless you specify otherwise).

Marilyn is a highly competent, compassionate, and caring pet sitter. She is very knowledgeable about pet first aid/medical care (she’s a doctor!), so animals that require medications/treatments are not a problem for her. She treats all types of animals with love and respect. She checked in on my senior corgi many times when we were neighbours in Vancouver, and I have 100% trust in her to care for all animals and their homes! In addition, she is very responsible about checking in and providing photo updates about animals! I highly recommend Marilyn for all of your pet care needs! 🐶🐱🐹💖
J'ai eu la chance d'utiliser les services de Marilyn pour s'occuper de mes deux chats durant un long séjour. Ils se sont tout de suite bien entendus, sa nature calme et ouverte ont même séduit mon chat le plus timide. Marilyn est une personne de confiance et qui a un amour réel pour les animaux.
