About: I’ve had 2 dogs and a cat at home in the last 20 years. I’ve babysat and walked my friends dogs many times as well. I love animals, I know how important it is for you to know that you can trust who is walking and taking care of them! I’m currently a stay at home mom. I like to keep active, so dog walking and pet care is the perfect combo. We have a fenced in yard at our home for extra outdoor time for pets. Our home has a fenced in, green yard with enough space to play or chill out in shade or sun. I own a Lab mix female dog who is accepting and particularly likes smaller sized dogs in the home, often playing with them. I understand the need to go at their pace and adapt to each cat's style for receiving affection, play, etc. I've done some dog walking work here and there for years. I started when I was a kid - I loved dogs, but my parents didn't want a dog so I started walking the dog of an older couple in my neighbourhood. :) I've grown up with dogs in my extended family and lived with roommates who had new dogs where I helped with walking and learned training strategies to support them. I've also done a bit of dog walking in Montreal. My experience with dog walking has been with mid-sized dogs, I'm open to walking a large dog if you're ok with someone who doesn't have prior experience. Just let me know any particular things I should know! I have classes Monday to Thursday until 1pm through to mid August, so I am pretty available Friday-Sunday and in late afternoons/evenings only Monday to Thursday I am available to visit your pet at their home, and/or take them out for a walk. I cared for my cat with renal issue for that last year and he sadly loss passed away from cancer. I am comfortable giving meds and providing basic medical care if needed.
