About: I've shared my life with dogs and cats for more than 20 years and have experience caring for pets with unique needs. One of the experiences that shaped me most was fostering and adopting Beagles retired from pharmaceutical laboratory testing. These dogs often required extra patience, gentle handling, confidence-building, and close attention to their physical and emotional well-being. Because of this experience, I'm comfortable administering medications, following special diets, monitoring changes in behavior, and providing calm, attentive care for senior pets or animals who may be anxious, shy, or adjusting to new situations. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their families are away. As an entrepreneur currently building my own business, I have the flexibility to create my schedule around the needs of my clients and their pets. This allows me to be available for daytime visits, walks, feeding schedules, medication administration, and check-ins that can be challenging for those working a traditional 9-to-5 schedule. About: I love animals with my all heart, cats are my specialty but I love dogs - small or big. I'd love to get a big dog eventually, but I cannot give one the proper life and care right now. As a pet owner, you can trust that I will respect and honour your boundaries with your pets. I make sure my cats have daily playtime, and get the stimulation they need. They get treats to reward good behaviour, but not daily. I brush them weekly, trim their nails weekly and scoop the litter twice a day. For cats I make sure they feel secure with my presence - respect their territory and boundaries. I always ask the owners what are the house rules and what their personality like to better respond to their needs.

One of the bedrooms is rarely used, giving pets extra space to relax if they prefer a quieter area. The apartment has built-in air conditioning to keep pets comfortable year-round, as well as a large private back terrace where they can safely enjoy fresh air and sunshine between potty breaks. I’m just a 3-minute walk from Parc La Fontaine, making it easy to provide regular walks, exercise, and plenty of outdoors. I always follow each pet’s routine and the owner’s instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.

In the 1980s my mum started a pet sitting hotel that including going to people's houses to take care of their animals. She trained me to be her assistant as a little kid and not only would they help with responsibilities but was taught how to answer the phone professionally as a secretary. We pretty much had a small Zoo at home When I was growing up with our own pets, we had rabbits, rodents, an iguana, different types of salamanders and newts, fish, land and water turtles, cats and dogs, and birds. I raised cockatiels from egg as a teenager including whistling to a baby bird who whistled back from inside the shell which was an incredible experience and later teaching that bird how to fly. The two cats I had over my twenties and thirties I had from 2002 until when they died in 2017 and 2019 respectively, I brought them to Montreal from mission BC, they were brother and sister. I was too heartbroken after that to have my own pets anymore and prefer taking care of other people's animals as a pet sitter. I'm self-employed and offer a variety of services, including face painting, body painting, jagua and henna temporary tattoos, photography, fine art, Halloween makeup, and more. I also take on gig work as a residential cleaner and interior wall painter. I have invisible disabilities, including ADHD, which affects my sleep, so I'm naturally not a morning person. However, I actively work on improving my sleep schedule and do my best to maintain the earliest routine I reasonably can. When I'm doing a live-in pet sitting assignment—which is my preferred type of booking—it's much easier for me to adapt my schedule around any other work I take on throughout the city. I'm a big believer in keeping animals in their familiar environments because it's stressful enough when their primary human companion is away, there's no need to deregulate them by moving them to an unfamiliar place.
