About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, birds, ducks, and other pets with patience and love. I’m comfortable caring for senior pets who need extra attention, administering basic care, and understanding animal behavior and needs. I also have experience helping a mother cat during birth and caring for newborn kittens. Animals naturally feel safe around me, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I recently went back to studying, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. Because of this, I’m able to give pets the attention, patience, playtime, and care they deserve throughout the day. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, calm, and comfortable in a clean and loving environment. In my home or a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, whether they are energetic and playful or older and need a quieter, more gentle approach. I also make sure they always have fresh water, a clean space, and plenty of affection and attention so they don’t feel stressed or lonely while their owner is away.

Madeleine and Fred took to each other immediately, making me feel incredibly at ease with leaving them together for a couple of hours! Madeleine's bubbly, animated, and friendly personality is particularly endearing, and her can-do attitude makes me confident in knowing that Fred is being left in good/capable hands! Would 10/10 rebook!

About: I’ve always had a strong love for animals, and that has led me to become a dedicated pet sitter. From a young age, I’ve cared for pets of all shapes and sizes—whether it was my childhood dogs, my family’s cats, or the many pets I’ve looked after for friends and neighbors. What motivates me to be a pet sitter is the joy I get from helping pets feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I truly believe pets thrive in a familiar, loving environment, and my goal is to provide that comfort while you’re not home.
I have several years of experience in pet sitting and am well-versed in handling everything from basic care to more specialized needs, including administering medications and managing behavioral quirks. I’m also experienced in caring for small rodents like hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. I know how important it is to maintain their routines and provide them with the attention they need.
For the safety of all animals in my care, I do require that pets be up to date on vaccinations. This ensures a healthy and happy environment for everyone.
If you’re looking for a trustworthy and compassionate sitter who will treat your pet like family, I’d love to help! As a part-time university student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to offer pet services seven days a week. I have made sure I have plenty of time during mornings, afternoons, and evenings to care for pets of all kinds. Whether you need daily visits, weekend stays, or last-minute help, I am usually able to accommodate. My availability includes weekdays and weekends, and I am happy to discuss specific timeframes to suit you and your pet’s routine. When caring for pets in their own home, my top priorities are their safety, wellbeing, and maintaining a sense of normalcy. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to stick closely to their usual schedule and daily habits. I treat my clients’ homes with the same respect I would my own. I am mindful of keeping things clean, secure, and leaving everything just as I found it. I lock up carefully, follow instructions precisely, and stay in communication with regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. Building trust—both with pets and their owners—is something I take seriously. I aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment where your pet can relax and be themselves until you return.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was five years old, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I grew up with two family dogs, and have lived with a cat for the past four years, giving me experience with both canine and feline companions and an appreciation for their different personalities and needs. When I was 17 and 18, I spent two years volunteering weekly at an animal rescue shelter in the UK. There, I walked dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and spent time socialising with and rehabilitating neglected cats and dogs with behavioural issues. I also helped cleaning up messes, feeding animals, as well as adminitering medications. This experience taught me patience, empathy, and how to ensure an animal feels safe and comfortable around an unfamiliar face. I moved to Montreal from the UK 4 years ago to pursue my PhD, and aim to spend time with animals regularly, since I cannot have pets of my own for the time being. Above all, I aim to provide companionship and a calming presence, treating every animal with the same love and respect I’d give my own. Whether your pet loves a good play session, a quiet cuddle, or just someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for in your absence. I'm a PhD student, which means my schedule is extremely flexible, meaning I can work both weekends and weekdays, day or night. I am capable of working on my doctorate remotely at any time, and so can stay in places for prolonged periods. There may be times in which I will have to go to my lab in Cote des Neiges, however this is often no longer than 3-4 hours at a time, and I can provide fair warning if this were to occur. Having worked with animals with behavioural problems, I have learned that it is extremely important to provide a calm presence when meeting a cat or a dog for the first time. I take good care to ensure animals feel safe around me, and take things slow to allow them to acclimatise at their own pace, matching their energy and level of excitement. I can carry out all basic duties of pet care, including feeding, walking, playing, and potty breaks. I also have experience with more complicated duties, like administering medication, and walking dogs who cannot be around other dogs or children. I know my limits, and if at any point I feel that I am unable to provide what you require or that I am not a good fit for your pet, I will communicate that with you immediately.

About: I love animals with my all heart, cats are my specialty but I love dogs - small or big. I'd love to get a big dog eventually, but I cannot give one the proper life and care right now. As a pet owner, you can trust that I will respect and honour your boundaries with your pets. I make sure my cats have daily playtime, and get the stimulation they need. They get treats to reward good behaviour, but not daily. I brush them weekly, trim their nails weekly and scoop the litter twice a day. For cats I make sure they feel secure with my presence - respect their territory and boundaries. I always ask the owners what are the house rules and what their personality like to better respond to their needs.

Ilya is an amazing sitter, great communicator and was very attentive to my girls! I received updates and lots of photos during my trip — I felt very at ease knowing my 2 dogs were in good hands. I have one very shy dog and Ilya did a great job handling her/winning her over. Ilya went the extra mile to leave my place clean for when I got home (which was so nice because I arrived super late). About: I have been around and taken care of many family and friends pets, on occasion, throughout my life. I just recently officially introduced myself to the pet owner life. No matter the personality or energy level of your pet I am ready to be there and take care. I mainly work as an actor. This means that most of the time I have off unless I have a role. Due to the fact that my availability is completely open most of time and I am not fixed to a weekly schedule, I am able to offer my services any time. Even last minute. The owner would be fully aware of anything I can/will do. I am there to not only take care of your pet but also your home.

About: I regularly walked my neighbor’s dog for 3 years before becoming a foster home for a Mira Foundation dog for a year and a half, taking care of him entirely on my own. Unfortunately, my current lease does not allow pets, but I love animals dearly and would be happy to give your pet the loving care and attention they deserve. I have been living with a cat at my parents house for around 20 years. As a university student with a fully open summer schedule, I have plenty of time to give your pet the attentive, loving care they deserve, and to care for your home as well if needed. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my priority. I provide attentive, loving care and make sure every pet feels safe, calm, and well cared for, whether in your home or during walks. Having cared for a Mira dog, I understand the importance of patience, routine, trust, and responsibility. I also never wear headphones while walking dogs so I can give them my full attention at all times, and I only walk one dog at a time to ensure safe, personalized care.

About: I bring experience as both a foster and a dedicated caretaker, giving me a deep understanding of dogs at every life stage. I can happily match a puppy’s playful energy, while also being patient and gentle with a lovely frosty-faced senior—giving them the time and space to sniff, explore, and simply be their best selves. My goal is always to provide comfort, consistency, and care that lets each animal feel safe, loved, and understood. UPDATE: Currently best to book in advance so I can keep that time for you. I work in a creative field on a contract basis, which gives me a flexible schedule. This allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine, making time for walks, play, feeding, and any other needs throughout the day. For now, I can come to your place for visits or take your dog out for walks. I make sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable in their own space, and I’ll follow any routines or little quirks that keep them feeling at home

About: I have some experience caring for dogs and I love them. I particularly enjoy taking dogs on walks, and playing with then at the park. I am a student and I work part time. Taking care of pets is a nice way to fill vacant hours within my schedule with something fulfilling. My preference is to care for cats in their owners home rather than my own, as I have a couch I don't like to get scratched. However, for the right cat, I could see myself boarding. If the cats stays at the owners home, I have no problem staying overnight or for a few hours each day to provide company. I understand that many cats are very social and become lonely without company. I love making sure that cats have the socialization they need.

Vladyslava was amazing! She stayed at our home for a week to watch our dog and cat. Our dog, Boba, is a very anxious pup, so it did take some time for her to adjust, but Vladyslava took the time to work with Boba and had many options to work with her. Boba did come around and had a great time going for walks and hanging out in the sunshine. Vladyslava left the home very clean and clearly respected our space. We will definitely have Vladyslava back again to watch our furbabies.
