“I feel so lucky to have found Vlanie to care for my shy little puppy! This was the second time I booked with her and I have more bookings coming up. It's just wonderful to have someone so patient, caring and knowledgeable looking after my pup. Apart from being great with the dog I really love that she's flexible and communicative, so we always come up with a schedule that works for both of us. I was stressing out of my mind about leaving the pup with a stranger but after meeting and booking with Vlanie, no more stress!”

“Initial interactions were very good. I felt. She was very pleasant on the phone and and I felt Buddy was very safe with her. This only reflects one interaction but I was very very good.”

About: I've done some dog walking work here and there for years! I started when I was a kid - I loved dogs, but my parents didn't want a dog so I started walking dogs in my neighbourhood! I've grown up with dogs in my extended family and lived with roommates who had new dogs where I helped with walking and learned training strategies to support them. I've had a cat for the last 6 years who I adore! I am in University and for May and June I have courses Monday/Wednesday from 10am - 4:15pm, and Tuesday/Thursday 6:00pm-10pm. I set my availability as off on those days because there's no way to specify different times available for different days, but if you need someone outside of my class times please do let me know! I live in Rosemont and go to school in NDG so I can travel pretty widely! And of course Friday-Sunday I'm open. I am available to visit your pet at their home, and/or take them out for a walk. I'll arrive at your home and can spend some time with them there and/or take them out for a walk in their neighbourhood. Let me know any specific parks they like!

About: My style of pet care is warm, calm and attentive. I have experience with a wide range of pet needs. I genuinely take the time to understand each animal’s personality, routine, and comfort level so they feel safe and understood while their owners are away. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats across different life stages, including puppies, senior pets, and animals with anxiety or special care needs. I’m also comfortable with basic medication administration when needed and always make sure instructions are followed carefully. I’m certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR through the Canadian Red Cross, which adds an extra layer of reassurance when it comes to safety and emergencies. Beyond the practical side of care, I think what really matters is how pets feel with me. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and I aim to create a low-stress environment where pets can relax, trust, and feel at home until their family returns. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I have a flexible schedule and can prioritize visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. I am able to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care, as well as provide consistent attention for pets who need regular routines or extra support. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and familiar as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I follow instructions carefully, especially around feeding, walks, medication, and any specific habits or preferences each pet has. I’m attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs, whether that means calm companionship, playtime, exercise, or simply giving them space and reassurance. My goal is always to make sure they feel safe, understood, and well cared for. I also respect your home and keep things clean and tidy, including feeding areas, litter boxes where applicable, and any mess from walks or daily care. I make sure to follow all safety instructions closely so everything stays secure. I’m certified in Dog and Cat First Aid and CPR through the Canadian Red Cross, and I’m comfortable with basic medication if needed. Overall, I aim to make things easy and stress-free for both you and your pets while you’re away.

I love animals. I’ve always had a natural ability to connect with them, especially dogs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I got my first dog when I was 10—a small dog named Rex. My second dog was a large breed named Bud. I understand that animals are sensitive to their environment, which is why I make sure to provide them with a calm and confident presence. I have experience with reactive dogs and know how to redirect their attention in a positive way when needed. I am a patient person and understand that every animal is at a different stage in their learning process. I am ready to provide services that ensure your pet receives consistent training, in line with your approach. Respect is an important value to me, which is why I make sure to respect your schedule and offer flexibility for the unexpected. I work full time therefore I'm available after 5pm until midnight from Monday to Friday. I have a clear schedule on Saturday's and Sunday's. I'm available to do overnight house sitting from Friday to Saturday and Saturday to Sunday. I will care for you pet by giving them exercise and letting them out to go potty. I can adapt your pets needs when it come to exercise and mental stimulations. I understand that some breeds are highly driven while other are more relaxed.

About: What sets me apart is the calm, attentive environment I provide. I grew up in a home that regularly rescued and fostered dogs, so caring for different personalities, energy levels, and behavioral needs has always been part of my life. We always had at least two dogs in the house at a time, and I’ve continued that into adulthood with my own rescues - Rose, who I’ve had since she was 1 (now 14), and Baby, who has been with me for 6 years. I’m often told I have a calm, easy energy that dogs naturally trust. I’m especially patient and understanding with anxious dogs and behavioral sensitivities, while still creating a relaxed and stable environment. I work from home, so dogs are never left unsupervised and always have consistent attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. My home is cozy, calm, and dog-focused, with a large fenced backyard for fetch, sunbathing, and safe outdoor time. I treat every dog like they’re my own and prioritize making them feel secure, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and already structure my days around caring for animals. My own dogs are a huge part of my everyday life, so walks, outdoor time, feeding schedules, play, cuddles, and supervision are already built into my routine. I’m home often throughout the day, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, companionship, and care rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I genuinely enjoy creating a calm, cozy environment where animals can relax, feel safe, and settle into a comfortable rhythm. Weekly, I prioritize keeping a clean and pet-friendly home and making sure animals get both mental stimulation and downtime depending on their personality and needs. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more anxious and reserved, I’m attentive to helping them feel comfortable and cared for while they’re with me. Safety is always my top priority when caring for dogs in my home. I have two friendly rescue dogs who are calm, social, and well accustomed to sharing space with other animals. I always prioritize slow, respectful introductions and pay close attention to each dog’s comfort level, personality, and boundaries. I provide a calm, structured environment where dogs are supervised closely and never left unattended outdoors. My home is ground level and has a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor time, fetch, bathroom breaks, and relaxing in the sun, and all yard time is monitored. Inside the home, I use tools like baby gates when needed to create separate spaces for rest, decompression, feeding, or quieter introductions. Because I work from home, I’m present throughout the day to supervise interactions, maintain routines, and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. My goal is always to create a cozy, low-stress environment where dogs can settle in comfortably and feel at home.

About: I've taken care of friends' and neighbors' cats and dogs since I was 13 years old. I have a huge interest (and knowledge) in animal behavior, as much as for cats as for dogs. I pride myself in befriending even the shyest of pets (no matter the species!), always on their own terms ❤️ True respect for animals, and paying attention to details are some of the biggest non-negotiables for me when it comes to pet care. I also have a huge interest in all animals and work hard to take great care of all species ❤️ Big reptile lover! (ENG/FR) I have a few shifts here and there on a few weekend evenings at my past job this summer, but otherwise have a very free schedule to relax from this past uni year that has been very intense for me, so I am very flexible for different types of pet care and eager to meet your pets! I can only offer cat boarding at my apartment, and sadly do not have cat supplies, so I will need to have yours dropped off at my house. In terms of pet sitting, I make sure to offer a good mix of stimulation with play time and social activities, and also rest time so your pets can feel as confident and relaxed as can be while in my care.

We had a great experience with Jeanne. She was very communicative and accommodating throughout the entire time we were away. We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos of Citra, which gave us peace of mind. Best of all, we came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

I highly recommend Danielle. She was absolutely reliable and punctual, visiting my diabetic cat every 12 hours without fail. Her communication was top notch—she kept me updated after each visit with messages and photos, which gave me total peace of mind while I was away. It’s clear she genuinely cares about animals and takes her responsibility seriously. I came home to a happy, relaxed cat thanks to her excellent care. I will definitely book with her again!
