I was very hesitant to entrust Kaly, one of our three huskies, to someone else. After reviewing several pet sitter profiles on Rover, Elton’s immediately caught my attention. I admit I was quite nervous about leaving my dog with a “stranger,” especially since our dogs have never been separated and Kaly is very anxious—she even cries when I leave the house for a quick errand. She was absolutely fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure Duce was happy, comfortable, safe, and well cared for. What impressed me most was the genuine love and attention she gave Duce. She treated him like he was her own, making sure he received plenty of affection, attention, exercise, and companionship. She was incredibly attentive to his needs and took the time to understand his personality, routines, and little quirks. About: Pas possible de penser vivre sans un ... ou deux chats. Depuis toujours je vis avec eux, deux par deux. Je les aime d'amour, mais je sais aussi les respecter et respecter leurs limites. Car ils en ont. Ce sont des êtres indépendants, mais qui savent se faire aimer s'ils se sentent en confiance. Et c'est une belle relation que j'aime à développer avec eux. On sera amis, c'est sûr, mais avec le temps. Le temps dont ils ont besoin... Ce sont eux les maîtres. Quant à moi, je prendrai soin d'eux et de leur environnement afin qu'ils puissent se sentir à l'aise et confortable chez eux. Et si le temps le permet, une fois amis, je pourrai leur apprendre quelques trucs.... s'ils le veulent bien.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up on a farm in the Gaspesie but have called Montreal home for 13 years now. Getting to take care of pets is one of the great privileges of my life, and I'd love to shower your dog or cat with love and attention. I've been pet-sitting, walking and doing drop-ins independently for about 6 years now, and I have experience with puppies and kittens. From cuddles to walks in the park, along the water, time spent sunbathing and nearby hikes, let me know what your pet would enjoy, and I'd be happy to keep them occupied. Nous pouvons nous occuper de chiens qui necessite des soins particuliers 🩹 ; nous avons eu un chien epileptique, nous conaissons donc les gestes adaptés pour que tout ce passe en douceur avec votre pitou. Je suis la majeure partie du temps à la maison, votre pitou aura donc toujours de la presence entre Joe et moi :) Nous n'avons pas d'animal à poils donc si votre pitou est anxieux d'etre en compagnie de chien ou chat, la voie est libre ; de meme pour nos balades, si vous souhaitez eviter les croisades avec d'autres chiens, ce n'est pas un probleme, nous habitons un quartier proches de rues tranquilles. A savoir que je peux garder 2 chiens en meme temps mais qui proviennent du meme foyer, je veux respecter les conditions de chacun des proprietaires donc si une reservation est faite entre nous, rassurez vous que je bloquerai la/les dates seulement pour votre / vos pitou(s) et ne sera pas en contact avec d'autres :) Il est important à savoir aussi que nous nettoyons et désinfectons tout les jouets / lits / gamelles que nous avons à disposition chez nous ainsi que les sols après chaque passage d'animaux 🙂 Si vous prevoyez un retard sur la recuperation de votre pitou, par securite et legalite je devrais mettre a jour la reservation. ----------- Hello ! 🐕 We are offering our services because we know that good pet sitting requires attention 👀, love ❤️, time and patience 🦮⏳, but also respect for the rules each owner sets for their dog (training, feeding schedules, walks, etc.). We are able to care for dogs that need special attention 🩹 — we've had an epileptic dog ourselves, so we know how to handle delicate situations calmly and gently. I am at home most of the time, so your pup will always have company with Joe and me :) We don’t have any furry animals at home, so if your dog is anxious around other pets (dogs or cats), it’s not an issue; same goes for walks — if you'd prefer to avoid crossing paths with other dogs, we can make that happen too. Please note that I can look after 2 dogs at the same time, but they must come from the same household. I’ve always had a natural ability to connect with them, especially dogs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I got my first dog when I was 10—a small dog named Rex. My second dog was a large breed named Bud. I understand that animals are sensitive to their environment, which is why I make sure to provide them with a calm and confident presence. I have experience with reactive dogs and know how to redirect their attention in a positive way when needed. I am a patient person and understand that every animal is at a different stage in their learning process. I am ready to provide services that ensure your pet receives consistent training, in line with your approach. Respect is an important value to me, which is why I make sure to respect your schedule and offer flexibility for the unexpected. I work full time therefore I'm available after 5pm until midnight from Monday to Friday. I have a clear schedule on Saturday's and Sunday's. I was very hesitant to entrust Kaly, one of our three huskies, to someone else. After reviewing several pet sitter profiles on Rover, Elton’s immediately caught my attention. I admit I was quite nervous about leaving my dog with a “stranger,” especially since our dogs have never been separated and Kaly is very anxious—she even cries when I leave the house for a quick errand. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how she behaved with Elton: she trusted him right away. The service and communication were excellent from start to finish. “Vlanie est une gardienne exceptionnelle. Très attentionnée et patiente, elle a été à l’écoute de toutes mes demandes et préoccupations. Elle a pris soin de Leeyah comme si c’était son propre chien. Elle m’a envoyé des messages, photos et vidéos tout au long du séjour, ce qui m’a permis de rester complètement rassurée. Leeyah était calme et heureuse lorsque je l’ai récupérée, on voyait qu’elle avait été entourée avec beaucoup de douceur. Elle était vraiment entre de très bonnes mains. “Melody and her husband were amazing. They took such a wonderful care of Marieta and Milka. They have specific needs as Marieta has mobility issues and Milka is a very active big dog. They even created a trolley for Marieta goes outside and enjoy the day along with his brother Milka. We received many updates during the day and we were sure that both dogs were doing great. I trust them 100%. Milka and Marieta came home relaxed already missing her place 😀 Thank you so much for taking care of them 🥰❤️❤️ Will stay again for sure. See you soon ❤️”
