About: I was born and raised on the farm, surrounded by animals from my youngest years. I have learned how to take care of chickens and cows before I learned to write. During my life I have been around and taken care of most common types of pets, including large parrots and reptiles (proud snake owner myself). I’d probably have easier time living without people than without animals! So be assured I will to take care of your furry/feathery/scaly friends as if they’re my own I am currently doing freelance, so I’m free most of the time and will have no problem staying with your pet for the whole day or even overnight I will make sure to follow any instructions you give me to take care of your pet. I am more than happy to do play sessions to keep your friend entertained and/or take them for a walk. I can also prepare home made food if that’s something your pet requires. Just give me a recipe!

When I care for your pet in your home, my goal is to make things feel as normal and stress-free as possible for them. About: Being a dog walker isn't just about leashes and parks—it's a profession that requires a unique blend of skills, qualities, and dedication. What sets me apart from other dog walkers goes beyond the basics; it's about how I approach my work and the values I bring to every interaction with both dogs and their owners. Firstly, I prioritize safety above all else. Dogs in my care are not just pets; they are family members entrusted to me. I go the extra mile to ensure that every walk is conducted with utmost caution and attentiveness. From checking equipment before each outing to being vigilant about potential hazards along our route, I make sure that the dogs are always secure and protected. Secondly, I understand the importance of reliability and consistency. Pet owners rely on me to be there for their furry companions when they cannot. Punctuality and dependability are non-negotiables in my service. I communicate openly with clients, confirm schedules well in advance, and adjust promptly to any changes or emergencies that may arise. Moreover, my approach is personalized. Every dog is different, with unique needs, preferences, and quirks. I take the time to get to know each dog individually, building trust and rapport through positive reinforcement and understanding their behavior. Whether it's a senior dog needing a leisurely stroll or a high-energy pup requiring a vigorous run, I tailor each walk to suit their specific requirements. Beyond the technical aspects, I bring genuine passion and affection for animals to my work. It's not just a job for me; it's a calling. I delight in seeing tails wag and faces light up when I arrive for a walk. I treat every dog with the same love and care that I would want for my own pets, creating a nurturing and enjoyable experience for them. Lastly, I am committed to continuous improvement and education. I stay updated on the latest in canine care, behavior training, and safety protocols. This ongoing learning ensures that I can provide the best possible service and handle any situation that may arise with confidence and competence. In essence, what sets me apart as a dog walker is my unwavering commitment to safety, reliability, personalized care, genuine passion, and continuous improvement. These qualities not only differentiate me from others in the field but also ensure that the dogs I walk receive the highest standard of care and attention they deserve. Incorporating pet care into my daily and weekly routine is a cornerstone of how I approach my responsibilities as a dog walker and caregiver. My schedule for walking dogs is flexible. Caring for pets, whether in my own home or at a client's residence, involves a combination of attentiveness, organization, and a deep understanding of each pet's individual needs. Here's how I approach pet care in both settings: In My Home: 1) Environment Preparation: Before a pet arrives, I ensure my home is pet-friendly and safe. This includes securing potentially harmful items, setting up a designated feeding and resting area, and providing comfortable bedding. 2) Daily Routine: I establish a structured daily routine that aligns with the pet's usual schedule, including feeding times, bathroom breaks, exercise sessions, and playtime. Consistency is key to ensuring the pet feels comfortable and secure. 3) Exercise and Enrichment: I prioritize regular exercise to keep the pet active and healthy. This may include walks, play sessions, or access to a secure outdoor area for exploration. I also incorporate mental stimulation through interactive toys or puzzles to keep their minds engaged. 4) Nutrition: I adhere strictly to the owner's feeding instructions, providing balanced meals at appropriate times. Special dietary needs or preferences are noted and accommodated accordingly. 5) Health Monitoring: Throughout their stay, I monitor the pet's health closely, observing behavior, appetite, and any signs of discomfort or illness. I maintain records of their health status and promptly notify the owner of any concerns. 6) Affection and Comfort: I ensure the pet receives plenty of love, attention, and affection to alleviate any stress or anxiety they may experience while away from home. This includes gentle petting, soothing verbal reassurances, and respecting their personal space. 7) Communication with Owners: I maintain regular communication with the pet's owners, providing updates, photos, and detailed reports on their pet's activities and well-being. Any questions or concerns from the owner are addressed promptly and thoroughly. In Client's Home: 1) Familiarization: Upon arrival, I familiarize myself with the layout of the client's home and any specific instructions or preferences provided by the owner. I respect their home environment and maintain cleanliness and organization. 2) Adherence to Routine: I adhere strictly to the pet's established routine, following feeding schedules, medication administration if required, and maintaining consistency in exercise and play activities. 3) Security and Safety: I prioritize the safety and security of the pet and the client's home. This includes securely locking doors and gates, ensuring the pet is leashed or contained during outings, and being vigilant about potential hazards in the environment. 4) Environmental Enrichment: I utilize the client's resources, such as toys, treats, and designated play areas, to provide enrichment and mental stimulation for the pet. I respect any specific rules or boundaries set by the owner regarding their home and property. 5) Daily Updates: I communicate regularly with the owner through messages, photos, or videos to keep them informed of their pet's activities and well-being. This transparency builds trust and reassures the owner that their pet is in good hands. 6) Respect and Professionalism: I treat the client's home with utmost respect, maintaining cleanliness and tidiness throughout my stay. I strive to exceed expectations in terms of reliability, punctuality, and the quality of care provided. By implementing these practices, whether caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I ensure a nurturing, safe, and enriching environment that meets the physical, emotional, and social needs of each pet entrusted to my care.
