“Alissa was lovely to work with, even adding another day to the booking when some unforeseen circumstances arose. She was great with our cat, even despite his rather spicy personality. I have no complaints whatsoever! Thank you Alissa!”

“Jenna was so wonderful with my dogs. Spent so much time with them and really was caring. My young puppy is full of energy and a bit crazy. She was more than willing to work with her with no complaints. Jenna sent pictures and text messages during the visit.”

“Stefanie did an amazing job taking care of our cat over the Thanksgiving weekend. Our cat warmed up to her quickly and she sent photos every day showing everything that was taken care of. This gave me peace of mind while being away and I will definitely call on her again in the future.”

“Shacelle took wonderful care of Kai and Emmy, was very sweet and accommodating, and gave the best updates. She took some of the best photos of the ladies I’ve ever seen, haha. Highly recommend her for your next sit :)”

“Heather was awesome! We were away for just over a week and booked her to check on our 3 adult cats each day while we were gone. She was very responsive and punctual with visits while we were away, and everything went perfect. Our kitties were well taken care of and we came home to a tidy apartment with the litter boxes clean and their food bowls washed. 10/10 experience and would absolutely recommend Heather to anyone!”

“Laura was great! She took care of my 2 cats, one who is very shy and anxious, and another one very social. I came back to a house with clean litter boxes and happy cats :) Communication was easy and smooth”

“Jiale did a great job looking after my senior cat. She followed my instructions perfectly, my apartment was clean and tidy when I got back, she provided lots of details and photos on the rover card and was super responsive.”

“Brittany was so easy to work with and very trustworthy. She was available last minute and even help when someone was unavailable last minute. She went above and beyond to support. We loved having her support our family”

About: I've been an animal lover and advocate my whole life, growing up in a house full of pets-dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, turtles, and any other animals I could surround myself with! I worked in a pet store while in school and had the opportunity to learn about all kinds of animals, and meet and play with the animals that customers regularly brought in. Friends, family, and colleagues have consistently relied on me to look after their dogs and cats, particularly after becoming the resident dog-cat-plant-housesitter of my graduate school department over 10 years ago. I still regularly take on dog walking and animal feeding (including frogs and fish:) responsibilities, and I'm now broadening my services by joining Rover! I've taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds (Labs, Doodles, Huskies, Dachshunds), and I have several years of experience with senior dogs and cats as well. I'm comfortable and confident handling more fragile animals, as well as administering medications (I have experience with insulin, Cartrophen, and Librela injections; and oral medications and supplements). I'm happy to help with young pups and kittens too, including any training, crating, feeding routines you may have! My experience with them is only less than seniors because they grow up so fast:) I'll always respect the routines you have in place for your animals and take care of them as though they were my own. I love walking around the neighbourhood, and enjoy it even more when a sweet animal can join me! Spending time with your pet in your own home is a wonderful option that I welcome as well! I work full time and am primarily available for evening and weekend care, though I can be flexible with early mornings and special requests! I work fairly regularly 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday, though my schedule can be flexible, so I'll update my availability accordingly. I'm generally in the neighbourhood over the weekend and would love to walk or spend time playing with or taking care of your furbaby anytime Saturday-Sunday! Feel free to reach out for any particular requests and I'll do my best to accommodate:) I'll accommodate whichever walking, backyard, or indoor requests you have, both on and off leash, rain or shine!. And, I'll do whatever I can to ensure your pet feels cared for, supported, and loved while you're away:)

About: Hi! I’ve been a professional dog trainer for the past two years specializing in puppy socialization and service dog training. I’ve moved up to Canada for school so I’m looking for something I can do between classes. I had a senior dog who I cared for throughout the end of his life so I’m comfortable with dogs who use diapers and am strict about taking medications on time. I’d love to talk and find out if I would be a good fit! Currently I am a dog trainer and student so I have some time between classes and clients. I’d love to have a reason to take my free time to go on a walk or hike rather than scroll on my phone. If I’m watching animals I will gladly have time to stop in and play with them or if they just want to cuddle I’ll happily grab my homework and cuddle them while reading. For taking care of dogs in a clients home unless the yard is fully fenced and secured taking the dog out on a leash and their regular walking gear for any outside time. I don’t believe in letting dogs greet on leash so while out on walks I will avoid other dogs but will gladly let people say hi (as long as that’s cleared by the owner). I also need to know if any allergies or weight concerns as I carry treats while outside of the house to help manage any behaviour with positive reinforcement.
About: In my family, we've always had pets. My last pet was a German Shepherd, who died of an illness. In my home country, I helped my neighbors take care of or walk their pets when they didn't have time or were traveling. With my family's pets, I usually cared for them after school or when they wanted to go out of town, so I was in charge of them while my family was away. I can administer oral or topical medication, but I don't give injections. If the pets have a special diet, I can prepare it and serve it to them. My experience ranges from small to large breeds. As such, I don't know how to train pets, but I have taught the pets I care for a few tricks. I can work part-time, although right now on vacation I can work much longer, It all depends on the availability you want and what things I have scheduled. Being in the client's home makes me feel safer for pets, so they'll be comfortable. Depending on the pet's personality, I know they'll have to get used to my presence, so there will initially be a familiarization process. I always ask my clients for a list of things the pet can and can't eat, and if they have food or insect allergies. Emergency contacts and veterinarian numbers. If you need help giving oral or topical medications, I can do that as long as they're not injections. From my own experience, I know that pets are more than that. I know they're family and very precious, so I care for my clients as if they were my own.
“Erin is amazing. I had Erin for Archie in March and when I found out I was going to be away in April I was super pleased Erin was available. The updates she sent me great and the pictures absolutely adorable. I 100% would recommend Erin - and so would Archie. Archie has been looking around for Erin and waiting for her. I promised Archie Erin would be back again. Thank you again and again Erin for the wonderful care of Archie while I was away.”

“This was our second time booking with Lidiya, and we were just as happy as the first time. She is caring, reliable, and keeps us well updated. Knowing our cat is in such good hands gives us great peace of mind. Highly recommended!”

About: Hi! Please note that I will be moving to Sudbury at the end of August to start grad school. I am currently accepting bookings for the summer, but unfortunately cannot accept anything from September onwards :) I’m a fourth year Nutrition student at Western. I’m also a mature student (24 years old). I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! My family travels a lot, and we have always opted to pet-sit rather than stay in hotels! Now that my sister and I have moved away for university, we both pet-sit independently in our university communities. In terms of my own pets, I’ve had fish, a guinea pig, and a flock of chickens! Since we travel so much we’ve never had our own dog or cat, but we are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family! I am super active and love having an excuse to get outside more throughout the day. I am a recent graduate, so I’m shifting into full-time work. My schedule is generally as follows: Mondays and Fridays I work 5 hours a day; Tues/Wed/Thurs I work 8 hours/day; Saturdays I’m off and Sundays I work 4 hours/day. If your pet needs someone to be at home all day, I may not be the best fit for you. When I’m at home though, I’m a very active person and enjoy going out on lots of walks! I am currently living in an apartment, so your pets would be most comfortable in your home. I am happy to come and stay for however long is needed! I have my own vehicle to get to your place. I prefer only accepting sits within the city limits of London, so that I’m never too far away from work (I work in a variety of neighborhoods - Byron, Masonville, Wortley).
“Katherine was a great choice to watch our cat while away. She is kind and attentive to the animals needs. Was very thorough with sending pictures and keeping us updated while away! Definitely will book again!!”

“I highly recommend Ally! Ally visited my cat twice daily. Her communication was great. I have a pretty sassy cat and she really warmed up to Ally. I will be using her again for future visits.”

About: Having begun walking neighborhood dogs as a teenager, I have plenty of experience. I am an avid researcher into positive training methods, and have wanted to work with dogs since I was a child. I currently work only a few hours a week in Retail, and volunteer at the humane society. I have taken and received certification for fear free handling of pets in the shelter environment- a transferable skill for kennelling In my off time, I’m working with my own dog, who I have trained from puppyhood. I had my own reactive rescue lab from (his)ages 5-14, and raised two puppies since. The youngest is a 3yr gsd mix. My dog experience is focused mostly around large dogs and puppies. Up to 100lbs As to cats, I have raised two kittens. One lived to 9 before the cancer. One is still growing strong. Matt is my senior boy, whom I have had for 12 years now.

London pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jenna was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way. She communicated clearly and consistently, sending thoughtful updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She took great care of our home, keeping everything tidy and secure, and went above and beyond with our dogs. Norman can be a big scaredy-cat and is usually quite shy at first, but Jenna was incredibly patient and took her time with him. By the end of our trip, they had become great friends, which really says a lot. It’s clear that Jenna has a genuine understanding of animals and meets them exactly where they’re at, which made such a difference. As first-time Rover users, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jenna made us feel completely comfortable and confident, and we would absolutely book her again without hesitation.

Sneha took wonderful care of my cat, Nila! She was very gentle, patient, and attentive, and made sure Nila was comfortable throughout the visit. She followed all instructions carefully and spent quality time with her, which I really appreciated. I also loved the updates, it gave me peace of mind knowing Nila was in such good hands. You can truly tell Sneha loves animals and treats them like her own. I would definitely recommend her and will be booking again!
We couldn’t be happier with the care Avery provided for our cat over the Christmas holidays. She did an excellent job and our cat loved her! Everything was perfect, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Avery again - highly recommend!

This is the second time we’ve had Carole take care of our pups, and we’ll definitely continue to hire her again! She is great with our boys, and they are very comfortable with her. She arrives promptly at the designated time, provides great care and leaves the house tidy. She is a gem and we are glad to have connected with her through Rover!

Ashley was amazing! We were very nervous about having to leave our car for two weeks while we went on vacation as our cat can be quite shy but Ashley worked her magic and our cat was looked after with great care! We received detailed updates and Ashley sent us lots of photos that put us at ease knowing our cat was being so well looked after! Couldn’t recommend Ashley enough!

Krys is clearly great with dogs! She did a couple of drop ins to check on our boys and feed them while we were on a day trip. She arrived exactly on time, spent a good bit of time with the dogs and promptly communicated to us how the visit went. We will definitely be requesting her services again soon!
