About: I always loved pets and before I had my own I would walk dogs in the neighbourhood and take care of family pets. I have experience with health conditions as both my cat and dog have allergies, and my dog have health conditions such as chronic ear infections and seizures so I am used to administering medication both orally and into ears. I also fostered a dog with aggression and behaviour issues and trained my own dog completely by myself from a puppy, so i am completely comfortable looking after puppies as well as older dogs as I looked after a senior dog in the family. I’m currently working part-time and am a student in the fall so I have a very flexible schedule, anytime I don’t work I would love to care for your fur babies! I am very trustworthy when it comes to your home, my neighbours have trusted me to walk their dogs and gave me security information for their homes to pet sit for them while they were away. I am comfortable with home security systems. My own dog used to be a counter-surfer and loved getting into garbages so I am used to being very watchful and making sure pets don’t get into anything if you are worried about that.
“We discovered a gem in Jess, especially being in our neighbourhood. She quickly and easily helped to set up a Meet & Greet visit and asked lots of questions about Pepper’s likes, needs, etc. so she was able to provide her with the best possible care. Right away, you could see she is so passionate about her four-legged friends and Pepper instantly seemed to love her. It was so great to receive her report card and some very sweet pictures of my girl from their visit, which is always so much appreciated! We definitely will book again!”

“Heather was amazing with my guy! She was kind and timely, making sure I got updates for every visit. Definitely recommend! Thank you Heather, you'll be seeing more of us. 💖🐾 -Taleah and Frankie”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - London
Our first experience with Jenna was amazing, she was prompt on time as it was a key requirement for a us for a time sensitive appointment. She even took the added initiative of arranging a quick meet & greet before the actual day of the appointment. Our pet really took a liking to Jenna and the dog sitting appointment went seamlessly. We would love to have Jenna back again for our future dog sitting requirements.

Our experience with Katie was fantastic! She took wonderful care of both our dog and cat while we were away, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly treated our pets as if they were her own. We came home to two happy, relaxed animals, which says everything about the quality of care they received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate pet sitter. We have already booked with her again!

Simply said, Taylor was amazing! We truly appreciated her looking after our precious feline, Juliet, while we were abroad for two weeks. She daily visits for feeding, cuddles and frequent updates and photos helped us to fully relax and enjoy our travels! She treated our home like it was hers - keeping it tidy by vacuuming, and watering my plethora of tropical plants! We came home to a peaceful oasis and a very happy cat! Thank you so much, Taylor!

Caitlin was amazing with Piper! She fed her and gave her all her medication! Not only that, she played with her and gave her the love and attention she needed while we were away. Communication was great and I loved seeing pictures of her visits. Will absolutely be booking with Caitlin again!

Sneha took wonderful care of my cat, Nila! She was very gentle, patient, and attentive, and made sure Nila was comfortable throughout the visit. She followed all instructions carefully and spent quality time with her, which I really appreciated. I also loved the updates, it gave me peace of mind knowing Nila was in such good hands. You can truly tell Sneha loves animals and treats them like her own. I would definitely recommend her and will be booking again!
We couldn’t be happier with the care Avery provided for our cat over the Christmas holidays. She did an excellent job and our cat loved her! Everything was perfect, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Avery again - highly recommend!

There are 547 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in London. About 82% of London sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.
Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.
A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a London stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:
- Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
- House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
- Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.
Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in London choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
