“Jenna was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way. She communicated clearly and consistently, sending thoughtful updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She took great care of our home, keeping everything tidy and secure, and went above and beyond with our dogs. Norman can be a big scaredy-cat and is usually quite shy at first, but Jenna was incredibly patient and took her time with him. By the end of our trip, they had become great friends, which really says a lot. It’s clear that Jenna has a genuine understanding of animals and meets them exactly where they’re at, which made such a difference. As first-time Rover users, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jenna made us feel completely comfortable and confident, and we would absolutely book her again without hesitation.”

“Stefanie is great!! ( I left her a tip here). My cats were happy and my place nice and fresh! Hopefully next time I need help Stefanie will still be available. I’d recommend her for sure!”

“Shacelle took wonderful care of Kai and Emmy, was very sweet and accommodating, and gave the best updates. She took some of the best photos of the ladies I’ve ever seen, haha. Highly recommend her for your next sit :)”

“Heather was amazing with my guy! She was kind and timely, making sure I got updates for every visit. Definitely recommend! Thank you Heather, you'll be seeing more of us. 💖🐾 -Taleah and Frankie”

“Alissa was lovely to work with, even adding another day to the booking when some unforeseen circumstances arose. She was great with our cat, even despite his rather spicy personality. I have no complaints whatsoever! Thank you Alissa!”

About: I love all animals, I am not afraid of big or little dogs! I took in my dog, Willow, at 6 months old. She had no training, was afraid of men, and was crate abused. Now, at 2 years old, she is the perfect pup. We go on walks - off leash - play tons of fetch, and she is no longer afraid of being in a crate. I have been around dogs all my life, but she is my first offical pup! If you need help training your dog I would love to be assistance! Or, if your dog does not require any training, I would love to spend a nice walk/run with them. I work a full time job but I have an hour for lunch, so if your dog needs a walk in between I can make that work. Anytime after work (4:30 pm) I am available. I am also available some weekends. I will make sure all the required and stated needs for the dog is met. I will also prepare food, kongs (to keep the dog busy when I leave), and clean up after the dog when needed.
About: In my family, we've always had pets. My last pet was a German Shepherd, who died of an illness. In my home country, I helped my neighbors take care of or walk their pets when they didn't have time or were traveling. With my family's pets, I usually cared for them after school or when they wanted to go out of town, so I was in charge of them while my family was away. I can administer oral or topical medication, but I don't give injections. If the pets have a special diet, I can prepare it and serve it to them. My experience ranges from small to large breeds. As such, I don't know how to train pets, but I have taught the pets I care for a few tricks. I can work part-time, although right now on vacation I can work much longer, It all depends on the availability you want and what things I have scheduled. Being in the client's home makes me feel safer for pets, so they'll be comfortable. Depending on the pet's personality, I know they'll have to get used to my presence, so there will initially be a familiarization process. I always ask my clients for a list of things the pet can and can't eat, and if they have food or insect allergies. Emergency contacts and veterinarian numbers. If you need help giving oral or topical medications, I can do that as long as they're not injections. From my own experience, I know that pets are more than that. I know they're family and very precious, so I care for my clients as if they were my own.
“The experience I had with Sandra was excellent. She took very good care of my cats. I recognize that she did more than expected, making sure the environment/home was clean. She persevered and won over my furry baby Nina, who is very scared of initial human contact. So she was able to give her medication every day without major problems. She always sent me photos and news of the cats. I highly recommend Sandra's work as a sitter, and I hope to call her again in the future.”

I am flexible and available during weekday as well as weekends. My schedule ensures that your pet receives the care and attention they need throughout the time. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure that every animal receives individual attention and comfortable environment. “Thank you Erin for the amazing care you took with Hazel & the fish! It gives us so much comfort when we are away to know that she is not only being taken care of but is getting some loving too!”

About: Having begun walking neighborhood dogs as a teenager, I have plenty of experience. I am an avid researcher into positive training methods, and have wanted to work with dogs since I was a child. I currently work only a few hours a week in Retail, and volunteer at the humane society. I have taken and received certification for fear free handling of pets in the shelter environment- a transferable skill for kennelling In my off time, I’m working with my own dog, who I have trained from puppyhood. I had my own reactive rescue lab from (his)ages 5-14, and raised two puppies since. The youngest is a 3yr gsd mix. My dog experience is focused mostly around large dogs and puppies. Up to 100lbs As to cats, I have raised two kittens. One lived to 9 before the cancer. One is still growing strong. Matt is my senior boy, whom I have had for 12 years now.
“This is the second time I have contacted Anna as a sitter and, once again, she did an excellent job, caring for and playing with my cats. She always sends news, photos and videos. I hope to count on her in the future. I highly recommend her!”

“Melanie was great! She came over for a meet and greet prior to our scheduled drop ins and was very friendly and well informed. My cat got along very well with her (and he’s a timid boy, so that says a lot!) and it was very comforting to know that he had someone caring looking after him while I was gone.”

“Ash did a drop in visit with my dog, Ziggy, when we were gone for the day. From the beginning, Ash was so approachable, had so many questions about caring for my Ziggy, and was super adaptable to his needs. Ziggy warmed up to her immediately! It helped that Ash brought treats for him. We will definitely book Ash again for drop in’s, walks, and overnight stays again.”

“This is the second time we’ve had Carole take care of our pups, and we’ll definitely continue to hire her again! She is great with our boys, and they are very comfortable with her. She arrives promptly at the designated time, provides great care and leaves the house tidy. She is a gem and we are glad to have connected with her through Rover!”

“Lidiya was amazing! She took such great care of Aspen. I was very anxious leaving her as this was the first time i’ve ever been away from her, but Lidiya sent me so many photos and notes about her! She even went above and beyond and unloaded some groceries that got delivered while i was away. Will definitely book her again in the future.”

About: Hi! Please note that I will be moving to Sudbury at the end of August to start grad school. I am currently accepting bookings for the summer, but unfortunately cannot accept anything from September onwards :) I’m a fourth year Nutrition student at Western. I’m also a mature student (24 years old). I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! My family travels a lot, and we have always opted to pet-sit rather than stay in hotels! Now that my sister and I have moved away for university, we both pet-sit independently in our university communities. In terms of my own pets, I’ve had fish, a guinea pig, and a flock of chickens! Since we travel so much we’ve never had our own dog or cat, but we are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family! I am super active and love having an excuse to get outside more throughout the day. I’m a full time student, so my availability varies throughout the week! I am a busy girl - I work a couple of part-time jobs as well. If your pet needs someone to be at home all day, I may not be the best fit for you. But because my work is part-time, I’m never gone for longer than 4-5 hours at a time. I am currently living in an apartment, so your pets would be most comfortable in your home. I am happy to come and stay for however long is needed! I have my own vehicle to get to your place, although I do take the bus to campus for my classes so I don’t have to pay for parking. I would prefer sits that are within a 30 minute bus ride to Western, but I’m open to others too!

Sneha took wonderful care of my cat, Nila! She was very gentle, patient, and attentive, and made sure Nila was comfortable throughout the visit. She followed all instructions carefully and spent quality time with her, which I really appreciated. I also loved the updates, it gave me peace of mind knowing Nila was in such good hands. You can truly tell Sneha loves animals and treats them like her own. I would definitely recommend her and will be booking again!

We couldn’t be happier with the care Avery provided for our cat over the Christmas holidays. She did an excellent job and our cat loved her! Everything was perfect, and we felt completely at ease while we were away. We will definitely be booking with Avery again - highly recommend!

From the very first moment to the last, Lidiya was incredibly sweet, kind, and thoughtful. Communication was always easy and reassuring—she was responsive, dependable, and attentive in every way. When I asked for extra visits at the very last minute, she responded immediately, which meant so much to me and truly showed how much she cares. Her detailed updates and lovely photos after each visit brought me real comfort while I was away. It was obvious that my cat adored her; he showed so much affection, and that alone spoke volumes. Knowing he was not only well cared for physically but also loved and emotionally supported gave me complete peace of mind. The small gift she left us—a framed photo of my cat—was such a touching and unexpected gesture. I am so grateful for her care and couldn’t recommend her more wholeheartedly!

Ashley was amazing! We were very nervous about having to leave our car for two weeks while we went on vacation as our cat can be quite shy but Ashley worked her magic and our cat was looked after with great care! We received detailed updates and Ashley sent us lots of photos that put us at ease knowing our cat was being so well looked after! Couldn’t recommend Ashley enough!

Krys is clearly great with dogs! She did a couple of drop ins to check on our boys and feed them while we were on a day trip. She arrived exactly on time, spent a good bit of time with the dogs and promptly communicated to us how the visit went. We will definitely be requesting her services again soon!
