About: I'm new to Rover, but I've been a dog parent for over 35 years and have been dog sitting for my family and friends as long. Saffy, my Golden/Lab cross is 4, and Ruby, my terrier mix is 13 now. We walk daily with two Golden Doodles, Cosmo and Milo, who we consider part of our pack. My dogs are great with other dogs big or small. Our yard is fenced, and we're next to woods that have great trails with lots to sniff! My dogs are accustomed to a daily routine and can tell time. We walk once or twice daily, they have their breakfast after their morning pee, dinner at 6pm, and a snack after the last pee before bed. They hang out with me or nap during the day and we have playtime after dinner. My dogs have free access to the house and back yard. Ruby has a doggy door and Saffy uses a doggy doorbell to be let in or out. They typically hang out with me but each have their favourite napping spots. Both of my dogs were crate trained and while we don't use them anymore, I do have them available if needed. New doggie guests are closely supervised until we all get to know one another!

About: Hey - I'm Virginia, and I would be honored to help take care of your pet! I provide most services including walks, drop in visits, house pet sitting, boarding, and day care, and I am also happy to discuss unique options. I have a flexible, work from home schedule. I have the most experience with dogs, including formal dog training skills, working at various veterinary clinics and of course, lots of dog walking. I am comfortable with almost all kinds of dogs and can handle reactivity, large dogs/working breeds, energetic personalities, or particular health/social needs. I will keep you well updated during the visit. Please feel free to ask any questions! I am available most days except Sundays and have a flexible schedule. So, I'll be able to keep a close eye on and give attentive care for your pet. I care for pets by looking out on their behalf. I will ask you for information regarding their needs, behaviour, health, routine, and favorite activities. During walks, I keep them away from other people and animals who we don't know. I ensure they are hydrated and not stressed. I also maintain a calm demeanor, and I am very proactive in making decisions for their comfort and safety. For boarding, my house is very quiet, which would be a plus for any dogs who have reactivity.

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. I begged my mom for years to get one as a child, and ever since age 10 I have had a beagle almost non-stop. Currently, I have a 2-year old beagle named Floyd whom you can see on Instagram as The_Biking_Beagle. If you live or work in downtown London, it's possible you've seen us biking to the dog park, which we do almost every day. I raised him since 2 months old, so I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. My last dog Odie was a rescue from Kentucky, and he was likely about 8-10 years old when I got him. So I love dogs of all ages-and breeds. If you think your dog would like to join us on a bike ride to the dog park, that could be arranged. Either way, I will be happy to spend time with and walk your furry friend! I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to choose my hours. Let me know when you need, and I will make time for you. I have a very friendly 2 year old beagle who gets along with almost any dog and loves to play. I also have a beautiful and very talkative cat, who has her own space if necessary, but also loves to socialize if the dog is friendly to cats. But if not, she does have her own highway of ledges and cat trees and closet space so there is no worry about her safety. I am also happy to care for your cat or dog in your home. I love to play with and spend time with animals, so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!

About: I’ve had pets for most of my life, including cats and a dog. I’m energetic, loving, and soft-spoken. I will love your pet like they are family. Can arrange schedule for walks or home visits. Schedule varies bi-weekly, typically available every other weekend. For boarding in my home, will stay home majority of the time with pet. I will make frequent visits to your home, feed and fill water bowls, clean cat litter if needed (can also sweep floor), daytime walks or runs, and any other instructions you provide.

About: Myself and my partner come from dog foster families. For well over a decade, we’ve cared for dogs while they awaited adoption into their forever homes. This includes crate training, vet visits and routine personalized meal plans for these dogs. With this experience, you can feel confident that your dog will be exercised, loved, fed, but most importantly safe. Available fully on weekends for boarding and all-day play! Also available weekdays for boarding, but dog must be crated from 8am-4:30pm. Available on weekdays after 6pm for house visits, walks, etc. We currently raise a beautiful little dog Mabel while on our work routine. My current dog Mabel gets exercised a minimum 1-2 hours a day, often times more on weekends. I believe the majority a behavioral problems in dogs are caused by lack of mental and physical stimulation. I am a strict yet fun owner, as freedom and safety for my dog comes from trust in each other. My household re-enforces good behavior and corrects bad. With that being said… yes, I’m still a total softie for them.

About: As a child, my family always had a cat. I've been curious to own a dog for many years, and was finally able to as an adult. I have less than 10 years experience with dogs, about 7 years total. The first dog I cared for was a foster dog, who was in my care for a year. Shortly after that, I got a dog of my own. Both dogs were large breeds, so I am comfortable with this size, as well as smaller dogs. With both of these dogs, I also had a pet cat. Currently I have a 17 yr old cat who I adopted when he was 9 yrs old. His name is Notorious C.A.T.. 😻 He has many health concerns, and I have become used to administering meds for him. At the moment I have an extremely flexible schedule and am able to help with in-home cat or dog sitting visits, as well as dog walking. There are a few regular commitments in my schedule, and I'm happy to work around these to help bring the care and attention that your pet needs in your absence. As a temporary guardian of your pets, I would like to have an understanding of their personality and needs. If they require specific attention, then I would like to have all the detailed information shared with me no matter how simple or small, be it grooming, feeding, toileting, or walking needs, or anything else that I would need to know in order to make sure your family pet is cared for properly. Some pets take time to warm up to new people, others have anxiety or reactivity. No matter what the needs are, I will do my best to help your pet feel comfort and safe!
