“Walter was great for our puppy, easy to communicate with, followed instructions and sent great updates and pictures! I will definitely use him again and would recommend him to others!”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life. I begged my mom for years to get one as a child, and ever since age 10 I have had a beagle almost non-stop. Currently, I have a 2-year old beagle named Floyd whom you can see on Instagram as The_Biking_Beagle. If you live or work in downtown London, it's possible you've seen us biking to the dog park, which we do almost every day. I raised him since 2 months old, so I have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs. My last dog Odie was a rescue from Kentucky, and he was likely about 8-10 years old when I got him. So I love dogs of all ages-and breeds. If you think your dog would like to join us on a bike ride to the dog park, that could be arranged. Either way, I will be happy to spend time with and walk your furry friend! I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to choose my hours. Let me know when you need, and I will make time for you. I have a very friendly 2 year old beagle who gets along with almost any dog and loves to play. I also have a beautiful and very talkative cat, who has her own space if necessary, but also loves to socialize if the dog is friendly to cats. But if not, she does have her own highway of ledges and cat trees and closet space so there is no worry about her safety. I am also happy to care for your cat or dog in your home. I love to play with and spend time with animals, so you can be sure your fur baby is in good hands!

About: Hi! I’m a reliable and caring pet sitter with over 4 years of experience looking after kittens, cats, puppies, and dogs of all sizes. I truly love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I have experience with a wide range of personalities- from energetic puppies who need lots of playtime to more relaxed or shy pets who just want a calm, gentle presence. I always take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and needs so they can stick to what feels familiar. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or just keeping your pet company, I treat every animal like they’re my own. I’m also respectful of your home and committed to keeping everything clean, safe, and well cared for. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and communication throughout my time with them. I’d love to meet you and your pet! I typically work 24hrs a week with weekends almost completely off. This makes taking care of pets very manageable. During the day, I have many breaks in between sessions that will allow me time to make frequent visits to your pets. I also work all across the city, making me available to house sit almost anywhere. During my stay, I take care of feeding, walks (if needed), playtime, litter or yard clean-up, and, of course, plenty of attention and companionship. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and independent, I adapt to what makes them feel most comfortable.

“Melanie was great! She came over for a meet and greet prior to our scheduled drop ins and was very friendly and well informed. My cat got along very well with her (and he’s a timid boy, so that says a lot!) and it was very comforting to know that he had someone caring looking after him while I was gone.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since the age of 15. Friends and relatives often used to ask me to take care of them while they were away, after some time I decided to be a dog sitter and groomer full time, I love this and would never change it. I'm available on Weekdays all the time and on Weekends as well! We can talk about scheduling in holidays depending on the situation and your pet. Currently I live in an house with a big fenced yard where your furry babies can go out anytime and have a sniff or playtime. My house is tought to be safe for animals, no wires or toxic substances to their reach. I treat each furry client like my own, always providing love and care at all times while sharing pictures and videos to the owner. Also all the pets will socialize along with my dog Moka.
“This is the second time we’ve had Carole take care of our pups, and we’ll definitely continue to hire her again! She is great with our boys, and they are very comfortable with her. She arrives promptly at the designated time, provides great care and leaves the house tidy. She is a gem and we are glad to have connected with her through Rover!”

“Talia is an excellent dog sitter! She helped me at the last minute to look after the dogs for a few hours while I attended a job interview! Talia kept both Hugo and Kohl entertained and busy during her scheduled time with them. I could tell she did a great job, as both of them were so tired at the end of the day! Thank you Talia, keep up the great work and thanks for all you do!”

“Ash did a drop in visit with my dog, Ziggy, when we were gone for the day. From the beginning, Ash was so approachable, had so many questions about caring for my Ziggy, and was super adaptable to his needs. Ziggy warmed up to her immediately! It helped that Ash brought treats for him. We will definitely book Ash again for drop in’s, walks, and overnight stays again.”

“This is the second time I have contacted Anna as a sitter and, once again, she did an excellent job, caring for and playing with my cats. She always sends news, photos and videos. I hope to count on her in the future. I highly recommend her!”

About: Caring for animals has always been something I love doing, I adore all animals like they’re my own. I have grown up with dogs since before I could walk and many different breeds (large and small) and currently own two dogs of my own now. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away, so I do my best to make them feel right at home. Whether that means going for walks, playing, sticking to their routine, or just giving extra cuddles and attention, I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s personality and needs. I love getting updates of how my pups are doing while I’m away and receiving pictures when my pets are being cared for by someone else, so I will make sure to do the same for your fur babies as well. If there is anything you need to let me know so I can provide the best possible car to your pet, I will be happy to do so. I currently work in the evenings most days but am available to drop in to care for your pet in the mornings till 3pm and on weekends. Walks, drop-ins and pet sitting throughout the week and weekends I can do but unfortunately, because of my own pets I am not available for over night stays. I keep my home clean, safe, and clutter-free to create a safe environment for pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m always respectful of their space and routines. I’m committed to following each pet’s specific needs, schedule, and care instructions to make sure they feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for at all times.
About: Growing up my family and I used to rescue dogs, making me very patient with all types of furbabies! I can take on any challenge. My baby was a special needs dog who needed attentive care 24/7 which helped me learned a lot about animal care. I have experience with my senior pets as well as both my husband and I care for our family pets when our parents needs us to! Both my husband and I have a wide experience in bird, rodent, reptile care as well. Any animal is welcome in our home, guaranteed a safe environment that would accommodate your pet needs. To get to know about me and my love for animals check my highlights on Instagram at allykatigbak or potato.the.bully. Since we have cared for our own pets as well as foster dogs in the past we have lots of toys, beds, treats, apparel for cold weather ranging from small to XXL and a crate if needed. We’re happy to share these with your babies during their stay with us to ensure safety, enrichment and comfort. I work from home and only go into the office once a week, so your pet will have plenty of companionship and attention throughout the day. My own dog recently passed, and caring for him, especially as a special needs pet. This taught me patience, empathy, and the importance of attentive care. I’ll make sure your furry friend receives the same love, comfort, and dedication I gave to mine. Your pet’s safety and comfort always come first. My home is a calm, pet-friendly space filled with toys, treats, and cozy beds to help them feel right at home. Pets are always welcome on the furniture, because I want them to feel like part of the family. Whether they love to play, nap, or snuggle, their environment is always clean, secure, and full of care. A crate is also available if they prefer their own space.
“Kylie dropped in over the weekend to check on our cat Norm. They made quick friends with him and we could tell from the check-in photos he was happy they stopped by. Saved us the cost of boarding, and we felt very comfortable letting Kylie throughout the service”

“Great sitter who stays the full visit length or longer. She’s been able to get my shy kitties to come out to play, which is a relief when they’re home on their own for so long while I’m away.”

About: The dog days aren't just for summer anymore! I've been surrounded by dogs most of my life. I know every interaction is an opportunity to instill good behaviour through positive reinforcement. My years working at an animal shelter have given me experience with administering medications (topical and oral), and I have a good eye for spotting if something may be off health-wise. I am familiar with harnesses and muzzles when they are required. I will happily provide basic grooming and play-time. I know you know your dog best, and I will follow your detailed instructions. I have a very flexible schedule! I know pets unfortunately can't read a clock, we must work to fit our lives into their time frame. I will treat your home with respect, and only interact with what you need me to. Trust is the most important thing, and I will not damage it.
London dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jenna was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations in every way. She communicated clearly and consistently, sending thoughtful updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She took great care of our home, keeping everything tidy and secure, and went above and beyond with our dogs. Norman can be a big scaredy-cat and is usually quite shy at first, but Jenna was incredibly patient and took her time with him. By the end of our trip, they had become great friends, which really says a lot. It’s clear that Jenna has a genuine understanding of animals and meets them exactly where they’re at, which made such a difference. As first-time Rover users, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Jenna made us feel completely comfortable and confident, and we would absolutely book her again without hesitation.

My initial meeting with Stefanie was pleasant and informative. It was obvious she takes her responsibility of caring for animals very serious. She was also very knowledgable. Stefanie was precise in following my wishes while caring for my animals. She documented the details which gave me peace of mind, knowing my babies were well taken care of.

This is the second time we’ve had Carole take care of our pups, and we’ll definitely continue to hire her again! She is great with our boys, and they are very comfortable with her. She arrives promptly at the designated time, provides great care and leaves the house tidy. She is a gem and we are glad to have connected with her through Rover!

Krys is clearly great with dogs! She did a couple of drop ins to check on our boys and feed them while we were on a day trip. She arrived exactly on time, spent a good bit of time with the dogs and promptly communicated to us how the visit went. We will definitely be requesting her services again soon!
