About: I grow up with dogs. I got two dogs back in my home country. So, being with puppies is the nature of my life. I've took care of my colleagues' dogs months ago, she was surprised with my skills of caring her dog. So, I believe, your dog will have a good time with me. I'm currently a PhD student at Western University. Most of my time is staying at home and doing my research. So, I got plenty of time to keep your dog company (and I believe your dog is keeping me company as well). I live in an apartment where have a huge garden and it is surrounded by forest. There are many friendly pets in our neighbour. If your dog love making friends, I believe he/she will have a good time here. But, If your dog is shy, we still can find a place to play and he/she will not be disturbed as well.

Katie looked after our two cats while we were away for the weekend and did such an amazing job! She was so great to communicate with and wrote us a note after each drop in visit with the rundown of how the visit went! Came home to two happy cats and grateful for the time away! Would definitely recommend and will be using Katie’s services in the future!!

About: Having begun walking neighborhood dogs as a teenager, I have plenty of experience. I am an avid researcher into positive training methods, and have wanted to work with dogs since I was a child. I currently work only a few hours a week in Retail, and volunteer at the humane society. I have taken and received certification for fear free handling of pets in the shelter environment- a transferable skill for kennelling In my off time, I’m working with my own dog, who I have trained from puppyhood. I had my own reactive rescue lab from (his)ages 5-14, and raised two puppies since. The youngest is a 3yr gsd mix. My dog experience is focused mostly around large dogs and puppies. Up to 89lbs As to cats, I have raised two kittens. One lived to 9 before the cancer. One is still growing strong. Matt is my senior boy, whom I have had for 12 years now.

Walter was amazing with my cat Ducky over the past four nights! My cat is usually very scared and shy, but was perfectly fine around Walter. He was also very flexible and allowed me to shift my bookings back three hours with short notice. It was so nice to not have to worry over the holidays knowing that my cat was well taken care of. I will definitely be booking with him again in the future and would recommend his services to anyone who wants the best care for their pet!

About: My family owned dogs most of my life and I was the main caretaker of her. I took care of all her needs including administering prescription pills. I have also volunteered with a cat rescue charity, taking care of up to 14 adult cats and kittens at a time. I was in charge of their water, litter, play, diets/food as well as any ointments or pills. I’m currently not working and would love to do more with my time helping pet parents where I can as I can never get enough animal love! I’ve taken courses both in person and online about animal welfare and behaviour and have cared for many different pets throughout my life. I am a quiet individual who knows when to let a pet choose the pace of interactions.

Have experience with cats with PICA and anxiety. I work from Monday to Friday in Toronto (4 days are in person and depend on the week)! About: Hi! Please note that I will be moving to Sudbury at the end of August to start grad school. I am currently accepting bookings for the summer, but unfortunately cannot accept anything from September onwards :) I’m a fourth year Nutrition student at Western. I’m also a mature student (24 years old). I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! My family travels a lot, and we have always opted to pet-sit rather than stay in hotels! Now that my sister and I have moved away for university, we both pet-sit independently in our university communities. In terms of my own pets, I’ve had fish, a guinea pig, and a flock of chickens! Since we travel so much we’ve never had our own dog or cat, but we are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family! I am super active and love having an excuse to get outside more throughout the day. **Thank you for your interest in booking me to take care of your pets! Please note that I keep my rates low because I do work full-time. If your pet requires constant care or needs someone to be at home all day, I am probably not the best fit for you. Please feel free to reach out about your pet’s needs if you aren’t sure whether I can accommodate! I am a recent graduate, so I’m shifting into full-time work. My schedule is generally as follows: Monday-Thursday I work 8 hours/day; Fridays I work 6 hours/day; on weekends I may or may not be working. When I am at home, I’m a very active person and enjoy going out on lots of walks! Your pet will be well taken care of! I am currently living in an apartment, so your pets would be most comfortable in your home. I am happy to come and stay for however long is needed! I have my own vehicle to get to your place. I prefer only accepting sits within the city limits of London, so that I’m never too far away from work (I work in a variety of neighborhoods - Byron, Masonville, Wortley).

About: Growing up I was surrounded by dogs! My family has always had a dog, and all of my friends families did as well. Now, when my friends go away I care for their dogs! During university I fostered several kittens, so I have experience taking care of them as well! I am a student that is taking only a few summer classes, so there is lots of room in my schedule for walks, boarding, and visits! I live with my partner who is also an animal lover & dog sitter/ walker with Rover. Our schedules are both very flexible, so your pet will get lots of love & attention! Our home is most suitable for small- medium sized dogs. There are several great parks within the neighbourhood that would be perfect for long walks!

Our first experience with Jenna was amazing, she was prompt on time as it was a key requirement for a us for a time sensitive appointment. She even took the added initiative of arranging a quick meet & greet before the actual day of the appointment. Our pet really took a liking to Jenna and the dog sitting appointment went seamlessly. We would love to have Jenna back again for our future dog sitting requirements.

Our experience with Katie was fantastic! She took wonderful care of both our dog and cat while we were away, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such caring and capable hands. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly treated our pets as if they were her own. We came home to two happy, relaxed animals, which says everything about the quality of care they received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, compassionate pet sitter. We have already booked with her again!

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a London stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in London choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
