About: I've been an animal lover and advocate my whole life, growing up in a house full of pets-dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, turtles, and any other animals I could surround myself with! I worked in a pet store while in school and had the opportunity to learn about all kinds of animals, and meet and play with the animals that customers regularly brought in. Friends, family, and colleagues have consistently relied on me to look after their dogs and cats, particularly after becoming the resident dog-cat-plant-housesitter of my graduate school department over 10 years ago. I still regularly take on dog walking and animal feeding (including frogs and fish:) responsibilities, and I'm now broadening my services by joining Rover! I've taken care of dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds (Labs, Doodles, Huskies, Dachshunds), and I have several years of experience with senior dogs and cats as well. I'm comfortable and confident handling more fragile animals, as well as administering medications (I have experience with insulin, Cartrophen, and Librela injections; and oral medications and supplements). Alexis and Lucas are lovely. Nari hasn’t met a lot of men in her life and was quite nervous at first but Lucas spent a lot of time getting her used to him, and by visit three, she was racing up to him and dropping for belly rubs. They take care to bring water for them for walks, and generally are great caretakers. Alexis is very gentle and kind!

Aida was so sweet and understandable with my schedule. She was able to accommodate with the time requested and certain detail of Bella. Bella absolutely loved the time with Aida. Amanda did such a great job with Brady! He’s usually pretty hesitant with new dog walkers at first, but whatever Amanda did made him feel completely comfortable and at ease right away. She was patient, attentive, and clearly took the time to build trust with him. Not only did she handle him wonderfully, but she also gave him a great walk that left him happy, relaxed, and well-exercised afterward. It’s obvious that Amanda genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and loved.
