“Alissa was amazing with Milli!! She came and walked her twice a day for a week and her and Milli quickly became best friends. Milli can be a bit reactive on walks but she handled her without a problem. She was great at communicating and always on time. We will definitely book Alissa again in the future.”

“Laura has been such a great help for our dog Nova. My partner and I work shift work and she was able to accommodate our fluctuating schedule and able to walk Nova for last minute schedule changes. I appreciate Laura's flexibility and would recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog walker/ pet sitter in London :)”

“Heather is wonderful with Luna and she is very accommodating and responsive. We use her 4-5 times a week to walk Luna during the day and occasionally in the evenings. I highly recommend Heather.”

“Fiona is wonderful, she’s reliable and great with my dog, and in addition to dog walking Fiona has taken good care of my home and my cat and dog while I was out of town. My animals are excited to see her, and I’m grateful for her services, it has been incredibly helpful!”

About: I currently work at a veterinary clinic with emergency clinic experience. That said, I am capable of recognizing signs of illness or distress quickly and am able to act immediately should something arise, as well as capable and confident administering medication orally and subsubcutaneously. Working with and having dogs since a young age allows me to understand and provide your pet with their unique requirements. I am more than happy to work with any individual and/or special care needed. My experience and passion extends beyond dogs and cats as I have owned and cared for birds, reptiles, freshwater fish and rodents. I work full time but in 12hr shifts allowing 3-4 full days of time dedicated to your pets. I am available Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and most Saturdays. I only offer services at your home at the moment but am happy to work with you to ensure I understand the needs of your pet and keep any changes to their regular routine to minimum or no change whenever possible while you're away.
About: Hi! Please note that I will be moving to Sudbury at the end of August to start grad school. I am currently accepting bookings for the summer, but unfortunately cannot accept anything from September onwards :) I’m a fourth year Nutrition student at Western. I’m also a mature student (24 years old). I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! My family travels a lot, and we have always opted to pet-sit rather than stay in hotels! Now that my sister and I have moved away for university, we both pet-sit independently in our university communities. In terms of my own pets, I’ve had fish, a guinea pig, and a flock of chickens! Since we travel so much we’ve never had our own dog or cat, but we are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family! I am super active and love having an excuse to get outside more throughout the day. I am a recent graduate, so I’m shifting into full-time work. My schedule is generally as follows: Mondays and Fridays I work 5 hours a day; Tues/Wed/Thurs I work 8 hours/day; Saturdays I’m off and Sundays I work 4 hours/day. If your pet needs someone to be at home all day, I may not be the best fit for you. When I’m at home though, I’m a very active person and enjoy going out on lots of walks! I am currently living in an apartment, so your pets would be most comfortable in your home. I am happy to come and stay for however long is needed! I have my own vehicle to get to your place. I prefer only accepting sits within the city limits of London, so that I’m never too far away from work (I work in a variety of neighborhoods - Byron, Masonville, Wortley).
“Charlie enjoyed his walk with Emmalee, and he came home happy and tired. She was very comfortable with our big, active puppy, and it's well seen that she's a pro dog mom. Thanks, Emmalee!”

About: I grew up on a big hobby farm with lots of dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, and bunnies, which is to say, I've loved animals for my whole life! I've been described as a bit of a "dog whisperer" and although I love ALL animals, I have a soft spot for older dogs, rescue pups, mutts, and beagles. I recently lost my 13-year-old rescue dog who was my best friend. I have a lot of love to give and love going for doggy walks, exploring new neighborhoods, and of course giving lots of cuddles!! I will protect your dog like they are mine, keep them safe, and give them lots of love and attention. As someone who has had different people take care of my pets over the years, I will update you throughout the day and send lots of photos! I'm here to care for your pet and also keep your mind free from worry. I work from home and love it! My home is quiet and super peaceful. I am very active and take lots of breaks throughout the day to go for walks and little mini adventures. I am always around so they will be in good hands. I also love to go hiking and to the beach, if that's something your dog would like! Depending on what your dog needs, I'll be able to provide stimulating activate like forest walks or dog park visits, or lots of naps, cuddles, and rest. I have a decent sized, safe, fenced yard with kind neighbors who love animals. I also have a large front porch with a gate, which is great for morning snuggles. I have lots of comfy bedding for your dog and a cozy home that animals tend to feel calm in. Depending on you & your dogs needs/preferences, I will provide extra treats and toys. My home is especially good for any dogs who are anxious and need some quiet/solo time throughout the day when I'm in another room. I will listen to your dogs cues and boundaries.
About: I’ve had pets since I was a child! I strive to provide nothing but the best love and care that I possibly can to all the fur babies out there. They are an extension of us, and our families. You want to trust the person you’re handing your kids off to for the day, and I hope I can gain that trust. I’m observant, and take animal care very seriously. I put my animal’s needs above my own, and I’d do the same for you and yours :) I have a flexible schedule that I am more than willing to work with you on. Whatever fits you and your pet’s needs the best! I am typically occupied between the hours of 11am and 5pm but can take home days as I please. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. I’m happy to cater to their specific needs in whatever ways I can possibly muster! Food, exercise, treats, regiment, etc I want make the best of our time together!
About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and caring for them has always come naturally to me. I grew up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience understanding their needs, behaviours, and personalities. In addition to dogs, I’ve also cared for a variety of small animals from a very young age, which has given me a well-rounded understanding of both small animals and larger pets. I have a pomchi and a German shepherd currently, and they are my best friends! I’m comfortable with feeding routines, exercise, basic grooming, and providing lots of love and attention to help pets feel safe and happy while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I truly enjoy building trust and connection with each pet I care for. My background is in childcare and healthcare, bringing extensive experience in providing compassionate loving care. I am currently in college remotely, and have classes from 8am-12pm Monday-Friday. I am available anytime after class, or before if an early visit is required. I am an early bird and awake at 5am every day 😊 I will not be able to care for dogs in my home as my dogs are a bonded pair. I am more than open to coming to you to provide in home care.
About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have always been actively involved in their daily care, including feeding, walking, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable and safe. I’m very familiar with different pet personalities and understand how important it is to be patient, attentive, and consistent with their routines. As a university student, I’m responsible and organized, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—especially since being away from home has made me miss my own pets. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always aim to provide a calm, caring, and positive environment. I currently work part-time at a restaurant, mainly in the evenings, so I’m available during the day for walks, playtime, and care. I’m able to provide morning walks consistently and ensure pets get regular attention throughout the day, with potty breaks typically every 4–6 hours or more frequently when I’m home. I’m usually around during the day and enjoy staying active, so I’m happy to take dogs on walks or runs. I live in a house with no other pets, providing a calm and comfortable environment. I’m also happy to follow specific routines and send regular updates and photos so you feel confident your pet is well cared for. I live in a house with no other pets, providing a calm and comfortable environment for your pet. While I don’t have a fenced yard, there is a large field across the street where I can safely take dogs out on leash for walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. I make sure pets are always supervised when I’m home and kept in a secure environment. I carefully follow any instructions, including feeding schedules, routines, and crate use if needed. My goal is to create a safe, stress-free environment where your pet feels comfortable and well cared for.
“Alice needed a male figure since she had one growing up and no longer does. When I come home, Alice is much more calm than she has been in a long time. So glad Walter was able to give her the exercise and play time she needs :) Thank you!”

Aida was so sweet and understandable with my schedule. She was able to accommodate with the time requested and certain detail of Bella. Bella absolutely loved the time with Aida. As she came back very calmed and relaxed. She is effective communicator and glad thay Bella felt safe. Will definitely recommend and will be rebooking for future walks 😊

Amanda did such a great job with Brady! He’s usually pretty hesitant with new dog walkers at first, but whatever Amanda did made him feel completely comfortable and at ease right away. She was patient, attentive, and clearly took the time to build trust with him. Not only did she handle him wonderfully, but she also gave him a great walk that left him happy, relaxed, and well-exercised afterward. It’s obvious that Amanda genuinely cares about the dogs she works with and goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe and loved. Brady absolutely loved his time with her and can’t wait to see Amanda again soon!
Fiona is wonderful, she’s reliable and great with my dog, and in addition to dog walking Fiona has taken good care of my home and my cat and dog while I was out of town. My animals are excited to see her, and I’m grateful for her services, it has been incredibly helpful!

Samantha is fantastic! Her rates are very reasonable, and she clearly knows a lot about dogs. She handled my dog Moka, who can be a handful, with patience and confidence. Moka came back happy after their walk. I really appreciate the care and knowledge she brings — highly recommend!
It seems like Bella had so much fun with Katie! Katie showed up on time and on shorter notice, gave her a long walk, fed her, and made her feel loved :) I’m literally going to frame one of the photos she took on the walk, it’s sooo cute lol. Great first Rover experience for us

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in London choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
