“Heather came over to walk Taco for 5 days before she started the house sitting; Taco, who is a bit anxious, warmed up to her so quickly and she did a great job walking him and always showed up on time.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Stefanie and her commitment to caring for our dog Arlo while we were on vacation. Stefanie went above and beyond our expectations making sure Arlo was happy and well exercised for the duration of our trip. The communication, photos, reliability and ability to work around Arlo’s schedule and unforeseen weather, makes us confident we will be asking Stefanie for her help in the future when we need it next. We are so grateful for Stefanie and the peace of mind she gave us while we were gone! I would highly recommend her to anyone needing assistance with their loved animals! 5/5 Thank you so much Stefanie for your hard work, reliability and commitment! 😀”

“Jenna provided excellent care for the dogs, walking them sometimes longer than the one hour a dayI had booked. She is a warm and personable person. The dogs took to her instantly. I found her to be responsible and very helpful! Thank you Jenna!”

“Shacelle was very friendly and professional. She took exceptionally good care of my golden retriever. She was on time and great at communicating. I will definitely book with her again.”

“Sandra has done such an amazing job gaining the trust of my dog and was able to acommodate to his routine and needs perfectly! My dog’s breed is typically an aloof and reserved type of dog. She is patient and will work with your pet until the job is done!”

About: I’m a fourth year Nutrition student at Western. I’m also a mature student (23 years old). I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! My family travels a lot, and we have always opted to pet-sit rather than stay in hotels! Now that my sister and I have moved away for university, we both pet-sit independently in our university communities. In terms of my own pets, I’ve had fish, a guinea pig, and a flock of chickens! Since we travel so much we’ve never had our own dog or cat, but we are the go-to pet sitters for our friends and family! I am super active and love having an excuse to get outside more throughout the day! Note: I am new to the Rover site, but I can provide external references until I build up my profile! I’m a full time student, so my availability varies throughout the week! However, I am rarely out of the house for the entire day; therefore I have lots of availability for walks/pee breaks/feeds etc. I am currently living in an apartment, so your pets would be most comfortable in your home. I am happy to come and stay for however long is needed! I have my own vehicle so being close to the university is not necessary.
“Charlie enjoyed his walk with Emmalee, and he came home happy and tired. She was very comfortable with our big, active puppy, and it's well seen that she's a pro dog mom. Thanks, Emmalee!”

About: I currently work at a veterinary clinic with emergency clinic experience. That said, I am capable of recognizing signs of illness or distress quickly and am able to act immediately should something arise, as well as capable and confident administering medication orally and subsubcutaneously. Working with and having dogs since a young age allows me to understand and provide your pet with their unique requirements. I am more than happy to work with any individual and/or special care needed. My experience and passion extends beyond dogs and cats as I have owned and cared for birds, reptiles, freshwater fish and rodents. I work full time but in 12hr shifts allowing 3-4 full days of time dedicated to your pets. I am available Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and most Saturdays. I only offer services at your home at the moment but am happy to work with you to ensure I understand the needs of your pet and keep any changes to their regular routine to minimum or no change whenever possible while you're away.
“Walter is true Dog & Cat Whisperer and I highly recommend him!!! Our furbabies absolutely love him - even our rescue dog, who has more trust issues than I do. Walter not treats your furbabies like his own but comes with integrity & goes above and beyond. Buddy, Mona, Cargo & Piper say a HUGE Thank you and all agree - 5 stars is well deserved!!!”

About: Hello! My name is Avery. I’ve had experience with animals my entire life, and my present career is in the pet industry now. I’m a full time dog groomer, and my previous occupation was working as a kennel aid at a veterinary clinic. On the side, I’ve always offered pet sitting and walking unofficially for family and friends, so now I am offering those services professionally through Rover. It is safe to say that I am an animal lover at heart. I look forward to meeting you and your pets as well as providing them with the loving care they deserve in your absence. I’m currently working as a dog groomer, and am looking to dedicate my free time to assisting pet parents where I can. My hours at my job can vary, but I am happy to work with my valued pet parents to provide services when needed. I offer local neighbourhood walks, trips to local trails for longer walks and some enrichment within nature, and drop in visits to play with your pet and serve meals/meds if needed.
About: I may not have a fur baby of my own, but I bring over six years of pet care experience and a genuine love for animals. I enjoy every moment spent with them — from playful walks to quiet cuddle time. Currently available full-time, so I can adjust to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s early-morning walks, midday check-ins, or cozy evening visits, I’m happy to work around your routine to keep your furry friend happy and cared for. I keep your pet safe and comfy, whether at my place or yours. I follow your care routine closely and make sure they feel loved and secure.
