About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for pets has always been something I genuinely love. I currently help look after my sisters’ dogs, including a Dachshund and a Cocker Spaniel, and I’ve also cared for dogs belonging to neighbours and friends. About: Hi, My name is Lisa! :) Animals have always had such a special spot in my heart. Their innocence, loyalty and friendship is truly such a gift to us as humans. Being raised with multiple Golden Retrievers since I was 11 years old has taught me a lot about doggies. I have been around the puppy stage many times and I know that not only are they adorable but they do require babysitting and lots of attention. My own dogs, as well as others, have become seniors and I am aware of how delicate that season of their life is too. I am extra attentive to animals needs and am often the one in a group that over makes sure the dog has enough water, that they are up to date on eating and that their needs have been met. Friends and relatives often used to ask me to take care of them while they were away, after some time I decided to be a dog sitter and groomer full time, I love this and would never change it. All of my pet care experience has been in other people’s homes, whether it was dropping in for a potty break, quick walk, or a long walk, even last minute! I have also provided pet care staying overnight in a client’s home for a minimum of 1 night-2.5 weeks. I may not be able to get time off of my part-time job when staying in a client’s home so I hope it is okay if I am gone for 4-8 hours in the evening for a couple of the evenings, if it falls on the days I am scheduled.
