About: Pets have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with family dogs, and loved my own dogs and cats as a pet parent, so I’m very comfortable caring for both. I am also a volunteer at the Humane Society London & Middlesex. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine and little quirks. I’m happy to follow their usual schedule for meals, walks, playtime, litter care and, of course, plenty of attention and affection. I am also comfortable and experienced with administering basic medications if necessary. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to spend time with pets while house sitting, providing regular outdoor breaks, companionship and supervision throughout the day. My laptop is pretty easy to carry anywhere! For house sitting visits that are overnight, my husband and I will often work as a team, especially if there is more than 1 dog involved to provide the best possible care. Let me know in the request if for some reason you prefer just me (ex. If your animal is more comfortable with females or something). Most importantly, I know how much trust is involved in leaving both your pet and your home in someone else’s care. I’ll treat them with the same care and respect I’d want for my own — and I’m always happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away. 🐾 I work remotely from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility in my day. I can easily bring my laptop with me while house sitting, so I’m able to spend plenty of time with your pet throughout the day rather than being away for long stretches. As long as I have Wi-Fi and a place to plug in, I’m all set! This makes it easy for me to provide regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime and lots of companionship. Pets in my care are treated like family. I know how important routines, comfort and consistency are, so I’ll always follow your instructions closely and make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed and loved while you’re away. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and mindful of things like secure doors and gates, feeding schedules, medications, walks and any special routines your pet may have. About: Very familiar and comfortable with taking care of dogs - I’m a registered veterinary technician who works full time at a vet hospital, I used to be a kennel attendant at a canine boarding facility + doggy daycare, and my family has had dogs of all sizes since I was a kid. I currently work full time Monday-Friday at a veterinary hospital, but daily at-home visits, walks, or weekend stays are feasible for me. I’m available Fridays after 3pm until Monday mornings.
