About: I’ve raised Bigo, my pet dog, since he was a was a puppy. Working with him alongside trainers has helped me better understand dog behaviour and body language, specifically working dogs. I train him on my own now and since have been developing my skills reading his body language and responding accordingly, de-escalating overwhelming situations, de-sensitizing him to triggering stimuli such as fast cars and rodents, and building both of our confidence. That being said, I know that each dog requires their own individualized care just as Bigo does which takes understanding, patience, and energy all of which I’ll happily expend in order to meet a given pet’s need. I currently work part time but my hours is flexible. I’m entering my 4th year of university so my schedule has lightened up enough for me to partake in Dog sitting I care for Bigo in sections of the day: morning, noon and evening. He’ll roam unleashed in my fenced backyard, I’ll take him on a walk or have a training session, I may play with him and then feed him at each interval. Outside of this time, my family cares and looks after him. He’s usually following my mom around in the kitchen or my dad in the garage or napping in the living room. My brothers play with him whether it’s tug of war, fetch or hide and seek.

I’ve loved dogs my entire life and grew up with family dogs and other animals. I also have experience caring for neighbours’ pets and have developed hands-on experience with positive reinforcement and managing some dog reactivity through my own dog. I’m patient, reliable, and passionate about helping high-energy dogs feel happy, fulfilled, and well cared for. I work an 8am-4pm schedule from home, allowing for some flexibility during the day and I can largely accomodate walks before and after work and on weekends. About: I have lived with a dog my whole life! For as long as I can remember my family, friends, and people in my community have asked me to take care of their pets and I am always happy to do so, whether they need me just to walk or feed their pet because they are running late or for a longer period of time. I am good with dogs of any age! I am currently a full time student in college, my weekends are always free. I am currently doing a work placement in Stratford and I am usually gone from 6:30 AM till about 3:30/4:00 PM during the week. When it comes to caring for a pet, I will do the obvious things like ensuring they are kept out of danger and safe, never outside without a leash unless of course in their own fenced in yard. About: I have been a huge dog lover since I was young! I have a passion for working with animals and have experience with handling and training leash aggressive, reactive dogs! I have cared for a variety of breeds and sizes and am comfortable with all! Pet care is an important part of my daily and weekly routine. Although my partner and I live in Thamesford, Ontario, I frequently travel to Toronto to babysit our family dog. This often involves planning my week around these visits to ensure I can spend quality time with our family pet. In Thamesford, I also enjoy babysitting and walking other local dogs in my free time. This helps me stay active and engaged with the community. My days often consist of working from home and being able to walk and check in on dogs throughout the day to make sure they are comfortable and happy! Balancing pet care with my other responsibilities and remote work requires good time management, but it's a rewarding part of my life that I truly cherish. If I was going to a clients home I would treat it as I treat my own home, with respect and cleanliness. In my own home my dog was the king of the house lol and I treat him as such. About: You know your dog best, so I'll follow your specific instructions and make sure that they get whatever you want for them, no more, or less! I'm respectful of your desires and attentive to each dogs needs. I do not wish to help with human aggressive dogs, but I'm able to handle dog aggression without issue. Due to only having part time studies right now, I'm available at many different times throughout the day and week. Primarily available for dog walking. We don't currently have any pets, but our large yard is dog safe and clean. I am not interested in dog sitting service, but will walk or host dogs here.

Whatever fits you and your pet’s needs the best! I am typically occupied between the hours of 11am and 5pm but can take home days as I please. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. I’m happy to cater to their specific needs in whatever ways I can possibly muster! Food, exercise, treats, regiment, etc I want make the best of our time together!
