It offers time in between duties for my own pet. I would normally assess the pets condition/mood/etc. Check their water and food dishes. Prepare them for a potential walk or a breath of fresh air in a fenced area. assuring water and food dishes are full prior to leaving. I have a large, fenced in yard and a home that your dog is free to explore while visiting. I have taken my pets to professional trainers, and have an understanding about behaviors, socializing and proper care for my pets. I have a 14 year old beagle and 18 month old Pressa/Border Collie who love to play. I currently work from home most of the week and will have time to care for your dog during the workday/evening or weekends that I am home. I have a fully fenced back yard with 2 resident (female) dogs waiting to welcome your family dog for the time you're away! Lot's of room in the house for your dog to roam freely.

What I enjoy most about pet sitting is getting to know each animal's personality. Every pet is different, and I like figuring out what each one enjoys most! Over the years, I've gained experience with puppy training, recall, enrichment, senior care, and administering oral, liquid, topical, eye, and ear medications. The biggest reason I'm on Rover is simple. I genuinely love being around animals. Since moving away for university, one of the things I've missed most is having pets in my everyday life. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. As a student, I have some flexibility in my schedule when it comes to walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting. On days when have classes, the only long day where I am out of the house for 8 ish hours is Thursdays. I do have a long break on this day from 12:30-3:30, so if needed I can go check up on any pets. As for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays I only have 2-4 hours of class, so I am gone no longer than 5 hours. My availability is fully open on Wednesdays and over the weekend. I believe each pet is unique, so I customize my care to suit their personality and comfort level. About: I’ve had pets since I was a child! I strive to provide nothing but the best love and care that I possibly can to all the fur babies out there. They are an extension of us, and our families. Whatever fits you and your pet’s needs the best! I am typically occupied between the hours of 11am and 5pm but can take home days as I please. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. I’m happy to cater to their specific needs in whatever ways I can possibly muster! Food, exercise, treats, regiment, etc I want make the best of our time together!
