About: I have been a huge dog lover since I was younger! I have a passion for working with animals and have experience with handling and training leash aggressive, reactive dogs! I am with my own dog 80% of the time since he lives with my sister who has a fenced in yard and I work in the city full time. I have been having a lot more free time recently and I want to be able to pour that back into my passion, which is being around animals more and offering a helping hand when i’m needed! If I was going to a clients home I would treat it as I treat my own home, with respect and cleanliness. In my own home my dog was the king of the house lol and I treat him as such. Any pets I encounter and look after will be treated with the utmost respect and care because I love animals and just want to see them smile.

“Nakita was amazing! It was our first time using Rover - my roommates and I were a bit nervous, but having Nakita care for our fur babies while we were away turned out to be a great decision! Nakita was quick to respond to our request, and we knew when she came over to meet the crew that she would be the best person to look after our little ones. Nakita came over twice a day to feed our crew, walk the dog, clean up the cat litter, hang out, play and give some love and pets! She bonded well with our high-energy corgi, and even got some love from our resident scaredy-cat. That never happens!! Nakita provided us with thorough updates, and many, many pictures. We were thrilled with her attentiveness and her care - we returned to three very happy and healthy little critters. She even turned on the Roomba for us to get a head start on cleaning!! We would highly recommend Nakita’s services, and we will be rehiring in the future. She says she will treat your pets like her own, and she most definitely does. Thank you, Nakita!!”

About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was born and could never imagine my life any other way! I have owned large and small breed dogs, cats, horses, rats, and mice and feel extremely competent in all aspects of taking care of them from basic command training, house breaking, medical needs including giving injections and administering prescription medications. If your fur baby is inactive and just needs cuddles and affection or if you have an active dog that likes the dog park or playing fetch I can meet their needs! My daughter who is 5 is also animal crazy and will also shower your baby with careful and gentle affection-you will see her in many of my photos! My entire family have dogs and often you will see one of us cuddled up with 6 dogs at the same time:) I work from home about 3 hours per day, so I am home all the time to look after your dog(s), take them to the park or for walks! I have one very friendly dog named Nala and a fenced yard. I take my dogs to the dog park or for hikes daily, but outside of that they are typically lounging on the couch or playing in the backyard. I work part time and am able to come to your home for drop in visits to feed and play, let your babies outside, take them for walks, or the dog park or whatever you need done! I typically walk my dog once per day and we also frequent the dog park! I am happy to do both or one of the two for your fur babies or just play inside.

About: I like to learn about your pet's personality and sense of humour and treat them accordingly. Dogs have their own special ways of communicating with humans depending on how comfortable they feel around you. I'd like to earn your doggies trust and have some fun! I am also learning sign language and would not be able to resist the temptation of trying to teach them signs for 'sitting' or 'rolling over'or 'come'... or 'dinner time'. You get the picture. I am also available all day to keep your doggie company. We can go for multiple walks a day. I am also an advocate for scooping after pooping so you will not need to worry about that. I can also take pictures throughout the day and send them to you as I know you will be missing and worrying about your babies. I am currently off school for the summer and I am still looking for part-time employment. So your doggy will be with me all day long. I usually wake up around 7am and go for 30 minutes walk and having a friend walk with me is makes it much more pleasant. I have a fenced yard, and no pets of my own. I do however require that your pets nails be clipped/shaved before drop off. I have wooden floors and find the nails do great deal of damage to the floors. I will not accept your pet if the nails are long. This is my only firm requirement.
