About: I kicked off my dog-loving journey managing a PetSmart pet hotel, where I cared for pups of all shapes and sizes while their humans were away. After that, I joined the team at Manotick Veterinary Hospital as a vet assistant—helping with surgeries and making sure dogs bounced back happily. Then I spent some time at the Ottawa Humane Society, helping some of Ottawa’s sweetest animals find their forever homes—including my own rescue, a 6-year-old Alaskan malamute! These days, I’m a dog groomer, pampering pups and making sure they look and feel amazing. No matter what I’m doing, every dog gets treated like family—and that’s exactly how I’ll treat your fur babies too I’m available for bookings anytime after 4pm during the week (Mon-Fri) and anytime on weekends. About: Hi! I’ve been a professional dog trainer for the past two years specializing in puppy socialization and service dog training. I’ve moved up to Canada for school so I’m looking for something I can do between classes. I had a senior dog who I cared for throughout the end of his life so I’m comfortable with dogs who use diapers and am strict about taking medications on time. I’d love to talk and find out if I would be a good fit! Currently I am a dog trainer and student so I have some time between classes and clients. I’d love to have a reason to take my free time to go on a walk or hike rather than scroll on my phone. If I’m watching animals I will gladly have time to stop in and play with them or if they just want to cuddle I’ll happily grab my homework and cuddle them while reading. For taking care of dogs in a clients home unless the yard is fully fenced and secured taking the dog out on a leash and their regular walking gear for any outside time. I don’t believe in letting dogs greet on leash so while out on walks I will avoid other dogs but will gladly let people say hi (as long as that’s cleared by the owner). I also need to know if any allergies or weight concerns as I carry treats while outside of the house to help manage any behaviour with positive reinforcement.

About: I have worked with dog rescue and foster agencies for 15+ years, including adopting from a shelter in the US. I have a large, fenced in yard and a home that your dog is free to explore while visiting. I have taken my pets to professional trainers, and have an understanding about behaviors, socializing and proper care for my pets. I have a 14 year old beagle and 18 month old Pressa/Border Collie who love to play. I currently work from home most of the week and will have time to care for your dog during the workday/evening or weekends that I am home. I have a fully fenced back yard with 2 resident (female) dogs waiting to welcome your family dog for the time you're away! Lot's of room in the house for your dog to roam freely.

About: I have lived with a dog my whole life! For as long as I can remember my family, friends, and people in my community have asked me to take care of their pets and I am always happy to do so, whether they need me just to walk or feed their pet because they are running late or for a longer period of time. I am good with dogs of any age! I am currently a full time student in college, my weekends are always free. I do have class from 9:30-3:30 but I do have two 30 minute breaks throughout the day when I would be able to run back to the house and let the dog out When it comes to caring for a pet, I will do the obvious things like ensuring they are kept out of danger and safe, never outside without a leash unless of course in their own fenced in yard. Of course if the pet owner would like additional and specific precautions taken they can always inform me and I will follow it

“This was my first time using rover and I was nervous about it at first. But my experience with Rachel was phenomenal! Rachel came to my home a few times during our vacation to look after out cat Eevee. Rachel topped up her food, gave her fresh water, cleaned out the litter box, and managed to play and pet with Eevee. Rachel even came over before we left to go over everything and to meet Eevee, which I really appreciate! It was nice to come home to a clean house and a happy cat. About: I’ve taken care of cats for a few years now, having 1 cat in my house and 3 total in my family! I also have lived with 2 different cats in university and cat sat regularly for others. Have experience with cats with PICA and anxiety. I work from Monday to Friday in Toronto (4 days are in person and depend on the week)! Pet care would fit into my routine in the mornings and at night (in the day if needed I can work from home). Because I have cats at my home I am able to care for your pets in your home! This gives them comfort in their own space.

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and reliable dog lover with hands-on experience working at a kennel, daycare, boarding facility, and breeder. I am also in school studying veterinary medicine!! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages — from giant Irish Wolfhounds to tiny newborn puppies. I also have experience helping train new litters and working with dogs that need extra patience and behavioural support. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority, and I’ll care for them like they’re my own! I’m currently off school for the summer, which gives me lots of flexibility and availability for pet care! I also work a part-time job, but my schedule is very manageable and I still have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, drop-ins, daycare, etc; as long as I have some notice. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve! At the moment I’m unable to offer boarding or care in my own home, but I’m more than happy to travel to clients’ homes for walks, drop-ins and, daycare. I want pets to feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible in their own environment!

About: Hi, I recently lost my sweet terrier and he was not kennel suited so I understand that it’s comforting to have your your pet taken care of in a home. I have 2 cats but but they’re dog savvy and will hang out downstairs if they’re not comfortable. I would be most available on weekends as I’m home. Let me know what works for your pet. About: I’ve had dogs for 20+ years, while I lived with my parents we fostered Australian shepherds and in 2015 I adopted one of our fosters. Her name is Olive. As well I have a cat and his name is Korin. I love having animals at home with our kids. I’m currently on maternity leave so my schedule is quite flexible. My son starts school from 8-12 so anything outside drop off and pick up times are the best for me and the baby I have a lovely fenced in yard for my girl, I love playing with our animals and lots of snuggles are always had in our home.
