About: I have been taking care of animals since I was little. I grew up on a hobby farm in Springfield and ever since I can remember I’ve always had an attachment to them. I have a lot of experience with different breeds of dogs as I’ve co-oped at a grooming parlour years ago. I also have experience with puppies and would absolutely love helping with the training process! I currently work part-time at my job so I have tons of time to give your pet all the attention and belly rubs they deserve while you’re away! I have 2 friendly animals in my home that would love to play with your pet. We also love to go on adventures around town.

Although Nicole and I were not able to complete our days of dog walks, I enjoyed meeting her so much and the one walk my dog had was very successful. We have just been through the worst heat wave I ever remember in Southwestern Ontario, so it was just too hot for my dog and for Nicole to be walking. But we stayed in touch each day and made our decisions together about the extreme weather. I'm only sorry that we did not get to know each other better. I would never hesitate to contact her another time.

Walter showed up promptly to meet Stryker and we made arrangements for 3 walks while we were on vacation. He showed up, sent pictures and a map of their walk. Put my mind at ease while away that he was getting exercise. Would definitely recommend Walter to anyone looking for pet care. Very satisfied.

About: I’m currently studying animal science and have hands-on experience caring for my own dog. I also volunteer as a veterinary assistant in clinics, where I’ve gained skills in animal handling, health monitoring, and basic care. Additionally, I spent time in Costa Rica working with animals, which helped me build confidence with different breeds and temperaments. I’m attentive, patient, and committed to keeping pets safe, happy, and well cared for. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine since I’m a student with a flexible schedule. I plan my days around classes, which allows me to dedicate consistent time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check-ins. I’m available mornings, evenings, and most weekends, and I always make sure pets get reliable attention and care. I prioritize safety, comfort, and routine when caring for pets in any home. I follow all instructions carefully, keep spaces clean and secure, and pay close attention to behavior and health. With my experience as a veterinary assistant, I’m confident handling pets calmly and recognizing any concerns early. I always aim to create a stress-free, loving environment.

About: Hi! I’m an experienced and reliable dog lover with hands-on experience working at a kennel, daycare, boarding facility, and breeder. I am also in school studying veterinary medicine!! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages — from giant Irish Wolfhounds to tiny newborn puppies. I also have experience helping train new litters and working with dogs that need extra patience and behavioural support. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority, and I’ll care for them like they’re my own! I’m currently off school for the summer, which gives me lots of flexibility and availability for pet care! I also work a part-time job, but my schedule is very manageable and I still have plenty of time to dedicate to walks, drop-ins, daycare, etc; as long as I have some notice. I’m happy to work with your schedule and make sure your pets get the attention and care they deserve! At the moment I’m unable to offer boarding or care in my own home, but I’m more than happy to travel to clients’ homes for walks, drop-ins and, daycare. I want pets to feel as comfortable and stress-free as possible in their own environment!

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child! I strive to provide nothing but the best love and care that I possibly can to all the fur babies out there. They are an extension of us, and our families. You want to trust the person you’re handing your kids off to for the day, and I hope I can gain that trust. I’m observant, and take animal care very seriously. I put my animal’s needs above my own, and I’d do the same for you and yours :) I have a flexible schedule that I am more than willing to work with you on. Whatever fits you and your pet’s needs the best! I am typically occupied between the hours of 11am and 5pm but can take home days as I please. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. I’m happy to cater to their specific needs in whatever ways I can possibly muster! Food, exercise, treats, regiment, etc I want make the best of our time together!

I currently have a very flexible schedule as inonly work part time. I am gone every other weekend tho. I'd be able to accommodate almost any schedule. I'd be following any given instructions for the dogs home and would keep them in the routine. Comfortable happyband loved. Your dog would also have a playmate with mine if friendly for park dates so they wouldn't be inside all day long.

About: For the past 6 years, I’ve raised a Labrador retriever since he was a puppy, cared for dogs as if they were my own. I truly believe pets are family, and they deserve to feel safe, loved, and understood — especially when their owners are away. I have experience with energetic puppies who need patience and gentle training guidance, as well as senior dogs who require a slower pace, extra comfort, and attentive care. I take time to learn each dog’s personality, routines, and little quirks so they feel secure and happy in my care. My goal is simple: allow dogs to sniff & have fun during walks, tire them for good sleep & keep the tails wagging. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I structure my schedule to ensure dogs receive consistent attention, regular walks, playtime, and quiet rest periods. I enjoy starting and ending my day with walks and check-ins, so your dog gets steady care rather than rushed visits. Because I plan my week around the pets I’m caring for, I’m able to maintain their routines as closely as possible — feeding times, exercise, medication (if needed), and lots of affection. Caring for dogs isn’t something I “fit in” — it’s something I genuinely prioritize and enjoy. I have a fenced backyard & a very friendly Labrador Retriever dog ready to play & we provide a safe, calm, and structured environment in my home where dogs feel comfortable and cared for. I follow each dog’s regular routine as closely as possible — including feeding schedules, walk times, play sessions, and rest periods — so they feel secure and settled. For boarding and daycare, I make sure dogs get a healthy balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and quiet time. I’m attentive to their body language and personality, whether they’re energetic and playful or need a slower, gentler pace. During walks, I focus on safety, leash manners, and giving them a positive, enjoyable experience. Most importantly, I treat every dog like family and provide regular updates and photos so you always feel connected and at ease.

Haley is great with my two notoriously difficult-to-work-with breed puppies. She communicates thoroughly, and is open to helping us find solutions for challenging walkers. I feel she has a genuine bond with my puppies, and I feel they are in good hands with her. Haley is wonderful to have come to your home! She is always respectful of our space, and I trust her there when I’m away. Overall, I completely recommend.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, I cared for a black lab, a husky, and a Bernese mountain dog; who lived to be 16, showing the level of love and care I give to my pets. I also have experience with smaller animals like guinea pigs and fish. Currently, I have three French bulldogs, a cat, and a budgie, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and care routines. I have hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, basic care, and making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I plan my schedule to allow time for walks, feeding, and check-ins, and I’m flexible to meet each pet’s needs. I prioritize consistency so your pet stays on their usual routine. Pet care is already a big part of my daily life with my own animals, so it fits very naturally into my routine. In my home, I provide a calm, clean, and supervised environment where pets are treated like family. I pay close attention to their behavior, energy levels, and comfort, and I make sure they have a safe space, regular feeding times, play, and rest. When caring for pets in their own home, I understand how important it is for them to feel secure in a familiar environment. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible. Whether that’s specific feeding schedules, walks, litter care, or playtime and I take a gentle, patient approach, especially with shy or anxious pets. I also keep owners updated so they feel comfortable knowing their pet is in good hands.

About: I have years of experience caring for animals of all kinds, with a special focus on dogs and cats. At home, I’m a proud pet mom to two cats, Beans and Chester, and our family dog, Hunter. My love for animals started early — growing up in the Philippines, my family cared for 20 dogs and 2 cats at once. That experience gave me the skills, patience, and dedication to handle pets with different personalities and needs, while always making sure they feel safe and loved. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing attentive care, affection, and a watchful eye to ensure their well-being. Whether it’s feeding, playtime, walks, or cuddles, I’m committed to keeping your fur babies happy and comfortable. If you’re looking for a reliable, compassionate, and experienced pet sitter, I would love the opportunity to care for your pets. With me, you can rest assured they’ll be in good hands — safe, loved, and treated like family. 🐶🐱💖 I currently work and am only in the office twice a week, which means my schedule is flexible. I live downtown London, but I’m happy to travel anywhere within the city to care for your pets. When pets are in my care, their safety and comfort are always my top priority. I provide a secure, loving environment where they can feel at ease, knowing they are protected and cared for at all times. I am attentive to their routines, needs, and personalities, ensuring they receive the right balance of play, rest, and affection. You can trust that I treat every pet as if they were my own, with patience, responsibility, and genuine love. My goal is to give you peace of mind while creating a safe, happy space where your fur babies can thrive.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Aylmer choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 100% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
