About: I'm basically the unofficial official dog sitter for my family and friends! Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and animals have always seemed to find their way to me. My family jokingly calls me the "dog whisperer" because I'm usually the person you'll find hanging out on the floor surrounded by the pets at any gathering. I've had Golden Retrievers for most of my life and currently have a sweet 4½-year-old Golden named Nala. She's well-trained, friendly with dogs of all shapes and sizes, and joins me on daily walks, hikes, and swimming adventures. I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including my dad's two Portuguese Water Dogs for weeks at a time, my sister's Fox Lab from puppyhood and into adulthood, and a friend's senior Husky/German Shepherd mix while they were away. I'm comfortable following routines, reinforcing training, administering medication, and caring for shy, anxious, or reactive dogs. Whether your pup needs exercise, playtime, a potty break, or just some company while you're at work, I'll treat them like one of my own; with patience, love, and lots of attention. Since I work from home I’m available for walks and drop-in visits during my lunch hour, after work, and throughout the day when my schedule allows. At home, I already plan my days around our Golden Retriever, Nala, including daily walks, enrichment, and outdoor adventures. We have a fenced-in, spacious, dog-friendly yard where pups can safely enjoy some fresh air and playtime. Nala is a friendly, well-socialized dog and is happy to join walks or visits when it’s a good fit. I also completely understand that every dog has their own comfort level, so I’m happy to leave her at home if a pup prefers their own space or isn’t comfortable around other dogs. I believe the best care starts with understanding each pet’s unique personality, routine, and little quirks. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or visiting them in theirs, I’ll follow their normal schedule as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. For drop-in visits and walks, I’m happy to help with whatever your pet needs; feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, medication, playtime, enrichment, and of course lots of attention and affection. I’ll respect your home, follow your instructions, and keep you updated with photos and messages so you know how your furry family member is doing. I also know pets have their own special routines and requests. If your pup needs their dinner “gourmet prepared” (aka carefully mixed together just the way they like it), a little encouragement to finish their meal, or an extra kiss on the head before I leave, I’m happy to accommodate! The little things matter when it comes to making pets feel loved and comfortable. Every pet is different, and I’ll always prioritize what makes them feel happiest and most relaxed.

I have grown up with large breed dogs my whole life, and recently became a dog owner with my first dog! I have worked in a doggy daycare for 2 years where I was a supervisor. About: I love dogs and going on long walks; it’s the best of both worlds! I have worked with dogs of various ages, energy levels, and behaviour. Whether your dog likes to run, play, and walk for hours, or just likes to chill with a pal, I got it! I have worked with puppies and older dogs, reactive dogs when other dogs are near, feeding dogs medication, beep collars, crate-trained dogs, etc. I’d love to meet your fur-friends, learn more about them, and will happily accompany them on walks and play time! I am currently working part-time, more so in the evenings, so I have plenty of time from early mornings til 2-4 that I can walk your pups and provide pet care. As it is only part-time, I am still able to work evenings sometimes! I am in school from Sept.-April, therefore I have plenty of time for long walks and pet care now and am available to be your daily morning dog-walker! I do not offer pet care in my home, although am able to provide pet care in a clients home! All of my pet care experience has been in other people’s homes, whether it was dropping in for a potty break, quick walk, or a long walk, even last minute! I have also provided pet care staying overnight in a client’s home for a minimum of 1 night-2.5 weeks. I may not be able to get time off of my part-time job when staying in a client’s home so I hope it is okay if I am gone for 4-8 hours in the evening for a couple of the evenings, if it falls on the days I am scheduled. I have always made sure to time out feeding and walks according to my work schedule when needed.

About: I lived on and work on a farm for over 25yrs. I've looked after everything from fish, cats, dogs, to poultry and fowl to horses and cattle. I'm active, enjoy spending time outside and love walking. I grew up with Irish Wolfhounds and miss having a dog to walk with. I'm working a weekday job as a plumbing apprentice. Generally from 8-4 but some days are shorter or if times are slow I have days off. In my clients home I like to have a written outline of what your pets routine and needs are. I will make sure your pets needs for company, mental stimulation, food, water, exercise, outdoor time and medicine (if required) are met.

“We had Rosalie over to look after our cat and spend the day with him. He was 1 of 5 when he was adopted into the family but recently became 1 of 1. So he is quite lonely when no one is home for an extended period of time and when we do arrive home he will tell us so in no uncertain terms! Rosalie arrived a little early which was great and was set to stay the day. When we arrived home after being gone almost 12 hours he was relaxed and happy. Rosalie is now his person that is just for him. We received a selfie of him and felt like we didn’t have to rush home. We will be using her again!”
