About: Hi, My name is Lisa! :) Animals have always had such a special spot in my heart. Their innocence, loyalty and friendship is truly such a gift to us as humans. Being raised with multiple Golden Retrievers since I was 11 years old has taught me a lot about doggies. I have been around the puppy stage many times and I know that not only are they adorable but they do require babysitting and lots of attention. My own dogs, as well as others, have become seniors and I am aware of how delicate that season of their life is too. I am extra attentive to animals needs and am often the one in a group that over makes sure the dog has enough water, that they are up to date on eating and that their needs have been met. About: I was raised on a farm with all kinds of animals, especially dogs. I’ve been working in an animal shelter for five years. I do enrichment with them and give certain ones medication when they need it. I’m currently working part-time at an animal shelter. Whatever fits you and your pet’s needs the best! I am typically occupied between the hours of 11am and 5pm but can take home days as I please. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. I’m happy to cater to their specific needs in whatever ways I can possibly muster! Food, exercise, treats, regiment, etc I want make the best of our time together!

All of my pet care experience has been in other people’s homes, whether it was dropping in for a potty break, quick walk, or a long walk, even last minute! I have also provided pet care staying overnight in a client’s home for a minimum of 1 night-2.5 weeks. I may not be able to get time off of my part-time job when staying in a client’s home so I hope it is okay if I am gone for 4-8 hours in the evening for a couple of the evenings, if it falls on the days I am scheduled.
