About: I've had experience with cats of all breeds, sizes, age and activity level. Working at an animal hospital for over 3 years has exposed me to experiences with cats, both in a professional setting and also going above and beyond for their care when they board at the hospital or stay for surgery days. Their care and happiness is always my top priority. In 2022, I had the privilege of taking in my girl, Priscilla. She was set to be euthanized due to mid-stage kidney failure. She was offered to me by a veterinarian from another animal hospital. She was described as a sweet old lady who isn't the biggest fan of snuggles. I took her home; the first thing she did was sit on my lap and purred. She will forever have a huge place in my heart. I hired Katherine for a week to come take care of my cat, Júpiter, while I went away on a much needed and deserved vacation. I was worried because Júpiter is super clingy, I had never left him for such long time, and I had had a bad experience with another pet sitter before....soon I realized that choosing Katherine was the best decision I could have ever made: She is sweet, responsible, caring, kind, and truly loves pets ! One day, while sitting Júpiter, the building's fire drill was being conducted, and she stayed a few extra minutes with Júpiter (she didn't have to !), just to make sure Júpiter was alright because he tends to get scared with loud noises. I may not be able to get time off of my part-time job when staying in a client’s home so I hope it is okay if I am gone for 4-8 hours in the evening for a couple of the evenings, if it falls on the days I am scheduled. I have always made sure to time out feeding and walks according to my work schedule when needed.

Being raised with multiple Golden Retrievers since I was 11 years old has taught me a lot about doggies.
