About: I’ve had pets since I was a child! I strive to provide nothing but the best love and care that I possibly can to all the fur babies out there. They are an extension of us, and our families. You want to trust the person you’re handing your kids off to for the day, and I hope I can gain that trust. I’m observant, and take animal care very seriously. I put my animal’s needs above my own, and I’d do the same for you and yours :) I have a flexible schedule that I am more than willing to work with you on. Whatever fits you and your pet’s needs the best! I am typically occupied between the hours of 11am and 5pm but can take home days as I please. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. I’m happy to cater to their specific needs in whatever ways I can possibly muster! Food, exercise, treats, regiment, etc I want make the best of our time together!

About: What sets me apart is my background in dog training and working with service dogs. I understand canine body language, behavior, and positive reinforcement training, allowing me to provide care that goes beyond basic pet sitting. I have experience working with dogs of different ages, temperaments, and training levels, including puppies, active dogs, and dogs with special needs. Whether your pet needs a structured routine, enrichment activities, training reinforcement, or simply lots of love and attention, I tailor my care to their individual needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize their safety, comfort, and happiness. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. As a part-time teacher and dog trainer, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to the pets in my care. Caring for animals is already a central part of my daily routine, and I enjoy providing reliable, personalized care that helps pets feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away. 🐾 I provide care based on each pet’s individual needs and routine. In my own home, I care for a service dog, a scent dog in training, and five rescued cats, including cats with medical complexities. This has given me experience maintaining medication schedules, monitoring health and behavior changes, and providing specialized care when needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I strive to keep their routine as consistent as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, litter box or yard maintenance, medication administration if required, and plenty of companionship and attention. I also reinforce any training routines owners would like maintained and always prioritize safety, comfort, and low-stress care. My experience with dog training, service dogs, and medically complex cats allows me to recognize changes in behavior and respond thoughtfully to each animal’s unique needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while they’re away. 🐾🐱🐶

About: Hi fellow pet parents! I have grown up having various pets in my household, from cats to birds to bunnies, etc. I am extremely passionate about animals and am a huge animal lover. I am in the process of studying Veterinary Technician in order for me to be in the vet field and help other animals. I love being in every animals company and will be sure to provide them with lots of attention and care while their parents are gone. I currently have open availability! I also have access to a vehicle, so I will be able to make visits in short notice as well! My home is extremely safe as I have other animals at home as well. About: I've had pets my whole life and connecting with animals comes naturally to me. In high school, I had the opportunity to work at a pet boarding facility where I gained experience working with dogs and cats of all demeanours. I treat every pet like they're my own - with lots of cuddles, love and play! As a supply teacher, my schedule is flexible and I often finish work early in the afternoon. I love spending my extra time caring for animals and pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. It’s a fulfilling way to unwind after school and give pets the attention they deserve. Being a pet parent myself, I know how important routine is for animals. I follow feeding, walk, and play schedules closely and give lots of love and attention and love to help them feel safe while you're away. I respect your space and keep everything clean and tidy, just like you left it.

About: I’m an experienced and compassionate pet caregiver with hands-on experience caring for animals with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral and topical medications, following special care instructions, and providing gentle bathing and grooming support when needed. I’ve worked with both small and large dogs (including pitbulls and bully breeds) and I’m confident handling different temperaments, energy levels, and routines. I also have experience caring for cats of all personalities, including both long- and short-haired breeds, ensuring they’re comfortable, calm, and well cared for. In addition to my hands-on pet care experience, I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter, where I supported daily care routines and learned how to approach animals with patience, empathy, and respect. I take pride in providing reliable, attentive care so pet parents can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and in good hands. I’m experienced in building and maintaining consistent pet care routines shaped by both pet ownership and volunteer experience. I understand how important structure, familiarity, and timing are for pets, especially those who thrive on routine or require extra care. I’m available for early morning, evening, and late-night services, as well as full-day care on weekends. I’m able to commit to daily or multiple-times-per-day walks or check-ins, and I’m reliable with scheduling, feeding times, medication routines, and exercise needs. My goal is to provide dependable, routine-based care so pets feel comfortable and secure, and pet parents have complete peace of mind. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine and environment to minimize stress. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication administration, litter or waste cleanup, and any special needs. I make sure pets receive attentive care, exercise, and companionship while keeping their space clean and secure. I also monitor behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and communicate updates to pet owners for peace of mind. My priority is to provide calm, reliable care so pets feel safe and comfortable in their own home.

About: I've had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, so caring for animals has always been part of my life. Growing up, we always had pets in the family, and over the years I've cared for everything from puppies and kittens to senior pets with more specialized needs. I've also pet sat for neighbours, relatives, and coworkers, both paid and unpaid. What I enjoy most about pet sitting is getting to know each animal's personality. Every pet is different, and I like figuring out what each one enjoys most! Different dogs find joy in exploring trails for hours, while others prefer activities like tug-of-war, chasing balls, or sniffing every tree on the block. Some cats immediately curl up beside you when you arrive, whereas others prefer to watch from afar until they're ready for a greeting. I enjoy meeting each of them on their own terms. Over the years, I've gained experience with puppy training, recall, enrichment, senior care, and administering oral, liquid, topical, eye, and ear medications. I've also cared for pets with anxiety, seizure disorders, blindness, deafness, and reactivity, so I understand how important patience, routine, and consistency are. The biggest reason I'm on Rover is simple. I genuinely love being around animals. Since moving away for university, one of the things I've missed most is having pets as part of my everyday life. Spending time with them doesn't feel like a job to me; it's something I look forward to. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I currently have open availability throughout the summer, so I have plenty of flexibility to work around your pet's routine. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, or overnight house sitting, I'm happy to provide the time and attention your pet deserves. During the school year, my schedule becomes a little more structured around my university classes, but I'll always keep my calendar up to date and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible while you're away. Before a booking, I like to learn about their schedule, favourite activities, training cues, and any medical or behavioural needs so I can care for them the way they're used to. I believe each pet is unique, so I customize my care to suit their personality and comfort level. I always make sure to listen carefully to what they need, making them feel loved and understood. If I'm staying in your home, I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, and keep things tidy while you're away. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and doing well. At this time, I offer walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I do not offer boarding.

About: I have lived with a dog my whole life! For as long as I can remember my family, friends, and people in my community have asked me to take care of their pets and I am always happy to do so, whether they need me just to walk or feed their pet because they are running late or for a longer period of time. I am good with dogs of any age! I am currently a full time student in college, my weekends are always free. I do have class from 9:30-3:30 but I do have two 30 minute breaks throughout the day when I would be able to run back to the house and let the dog out When it comes to caring for a pet, I will do the obvious things like ensuring they are kept out of danger and safe, never outside without a leash unless of course in their own fenced in yard. Of course if the pet owner would like additional and specific precautions taken they can always inform me and I will follow it

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
