About: Growing up, we always had pets in the family, and over the years I've cared for everything from puppies and kittens to senior pets with more specialized needs. What I enjoy most about pet sitting is getting to know each animal's personality. Every pet is different, and I like figuring out what each one enjoys most! I enjoy meeting all pets on their own terms. Over the years, I've gained experience with puppy training, recall, enrichment, senior care, and administering oral, liquid, topical, eye, and ear medications. I've also cared for pets with anxiety, seizure disorders, blindness, deafness, and reactivity, so I understand how important patience, routine, and consistency are. The biggest reason I'm on Rover is simple. I genuinely love being around animals. Since moving away for university, one of the things I've missed most is having pets in my everyday life. My goal is to make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. As a student, my schedule starting in September will be based on my course schedule. ***Calendar to be updated by August 25th, please inquire about specific dates directly until then*** My goal is to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible while you're away. I believe each pet is unique, so I customize my care to suit their personality and comfort level. If I'm staying in your home, I'm happy to bring in mail, water plants, and keep things tidy while you're away. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and doing well. Right now, I offer walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I do not offer boarding.

During walks, I’ll keep a safe distance from other dogs unless you tell me otherwise, as I understand that not every dog is comfortable around other pets and we can’t always predict how another dog will react. I’ve helped care for dogs and cats through walking, feeding, playtime, overnight care, and fostering, and I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’m happy to follow any routines, training methods, or medication schedules provided by owners. I currently work part-time in childcare, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for pet care. I occasionally foster cats for a local shelter, although I do not always have a foster animal in my home. If your pet is not comfortable around cats, feel free to ask and I’ll let you know whether I currently have a foster at that time. I have space for a crate if your dog is crate-trained and uses one at home. If your preference is for your dog to remain out of a crate, I’m happy to follow that routine as well. I believe consistency is important, so I do my best to maintain the environment and schedule your pet is used to. I live on a quiet residential street with a park just a short walk away, making it a great area for walks, exercise, and outdoor time. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and will care for your pet with the same attention, patience, and affection that I would give my own.

She sent me videos, pictures, & updates on how my cats were doing each visit, and I never felt worried about them during my trip. About: Animals have my heart more than anything else:) I have been taking care of cats and dogs since I was little and make sure they all get love. I have had a cat for 8 years now and a puppy who is almost a year old. Training a puppy was a bit challenging at first, but it sure has taught me how to take better care of dogs. Some of the cats I've pet-sat for have been antisocial, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve love; they just need a different approach. I am currently taking a gap year so i'm mostly free during the day, though I do need to take care of my cat and dog:) When I have pet-sat at clients' houses before, I ask if I can come a couple days before I'm scheduled. That way I can meet the pets, and the client can go over what they would like me to do. For instance, when I have someone watch my pets, I have a list of everything that needs to be done, such as litter box or feeding.

For as long as I can remember my family, friends, and people in my community have asked me to take care of their pets and I am always happy to do so, whether they need me just to walk or feed their pet because they are running late or for a longer period of time. I am good with dogs of any age! I am currently done schooling and just waiting for my college graduation before I find work, so I am completely free during the week and weekends. When it comes to caring for a pet, I will do the obvious things like ensuring they are kept out of danger and safe, never outside without a leash unless of course in their own fenced in yard. About: I have worked with dog rescue and foster agencies for 15+ years, including adopting from a shelter in the US. I have a large, fenced in yard and a home that your dog is free to explore while visiting. I have taken my pets to professional trainers, and have an understanding about behaviors, socializing and proper care for my pets. I have a 14 year old beagle and 18 month old Pressa/Border Collie who love to play. I currently work from home most of the week and will have time to care for your dog during the workday/evening or weekends that I am home. I have a fully fenced back yard with 2 resident (female) dogs waiting to welcome your family dog for the time you're away! Lot's of room in the house for your dog to roam freely.

About: I have dog sit multiple dogs and all sizes including great dane. This has helped me understand a lot abt their behaviour and I can read signals quickly. I love to play with them and also make sure they are getting their daily exercise. The longest I have been is with a pet for 21 days and the parents were so happy to see their pup happy. I know how hard it can be to stay away from your pup. I am comfortable with the schedule and will be able to manage according to your schedule. I work in marketing and would love to take care of your pup I would be doing the pet care at clients home. It is safer for the pet to get along in known place later I can take to my home

About: I’ve had pets since I was a child! I strive to provide nothing but the best love and care that I possibly can to all the fur babies out there. They are an extension of us, and our families. You want to trust the person you’re handing your kids off to for the day, and I hope I can gain that trust. I’m observant, and take animal care very seriously. I put my animal’s needs above my own, and I’d do the same for you and yours :) I have a flexible schedule that I am more than willing to work with you on. Whatever fits you and your pet’s needs the best! I am typically occupied between the hours of 11am and 5pm but can take home days as I please. Some evenings and weekends may be occupied, but are manageable with advance notice! I currently have a high energy Coonhound Lab mix. She gets walked at least 3 times a day for a minimum of 15-20 minutes, and upwards of 2 hours (at least once a day or every other day). She eats when her humans are home or she’s burned a bunch of energy. She is so loved, and loves to cuddle with us. She gets to roam out in the backyard as she pleases, and grazes the grass like a little bovine! Your pet will be treated no less than the best. I’m happy to cater to their specific needs in whatever ways I can possibly muster! Food, exercise, treats, regiment, etc I want make the best of our time together!

About: I’ve owned and taken care of animal ranging from large dogs and horses to guinea pigs and chinchillas. I even worked on a hobby farm taking care of rams and chickens in Australia! I have owned and cared for animals with specific medical conditions and I am confident in administer different medications and making sure the pet is as comfortable as can be! My family is from Vancouver island and I have recently graduated from Western and currently working in London as a remote Translator/ Editor for an Education Agency ! I am comfortable taking dogs on long hikes or to parks. I often take my family dogs on trail walks and runs and I love taking trips to the dog beach so they can get a swim on hot days. About: I’ve had dogs for 20+ years, while I lived with my parents we fostered Australian shepherds and in 2015 I adopted one of our fosters. Her name is Olive. As well I have a cat and his name is Korin. I love having animals at home with our kids. I’m currently on maternity leave so my schedule is quite flexible. My son starts school from 8-12 so anything outside drop off and pick up times are the best for me and the baby I have a lovely fenced in yard for my girl, I love playing with our animals and lots of snuggles are always had in our home.
