“Lea was amazing with my cat. He's normally very shy and hides the whole time, but she convinced him to come out! Her home is very clean and I would absolutely book with her again!”

“This was Skye second boring at Sayalis place and he seems to love it. Sayali has been very patient and caring while we adapt him to sleepover somewhere else. I would 100% recommend.”

“This was the third time Opus has stayed with Leslie. We have always been very happy to leave him in her care. We enjoy and appreciate that Leslie communicates so well ... lots of photos and updates to let us know how it is going. We wouldn't think twice about leaving Opus with Leslie in the future!”
“Brittany was absolutely amazing! Mocha had such a wonderful stay with her and came home happy and relaxed. Brittany sent us photos of Mocha every day and took him on a walk daily, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She took such great care of him, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Mocha would absolutely love to stay with her again!”

“Hillary was great looking after Luna and it was a fantastic first time using this service. Communication was good with pictures sent each day. It was nice to see Luna having a fun time while in Hillary's care. We woukd definitely use her again.”

“Another amazing stay with Jen’s household for Mia- routine check ins with pictures helped being so far away be peaceful and stress free! Mia was so tired after playing so much she slept all afternoon when we got home ❤️”

“Lynn and Jeff were great sitters for our frenchie Dozer. They were very responsive to our messages and Lynn sent pictures daily of a dozer to keep in touch with us while we were away. This is the second time Lynn and Jeff looked after Dozer and we felt comfortable he would be well taken care off. We will definitely be calling on Lynn and Jeff next time we need a sitter for Dozer.”

“Leo was taken care of very well ! Initially there was some communication gap and confusion but then William and his daughter Hilary really communicated well and caref greatly for leo! Will definitely recommend them !!!”

“Mohiny & Lucas O. were the best puppy sitters ever!! We met for a meet and greet and connected with them right away - we just knew they would take exceptional care of our pet. Their genuine love of animals was evident from the start. Our pet was very happy with them and enjoyed all the walks she took with Mohiny & Lucas O. Mohiny & Lucas O. sent us lots of pictures of our pet in action and kept us very well informed about how she was eating, resting, and playing throughout her time with them. We would happily have them look after our pet anytime knowing that she will be very well cared for and loved. Thank you, Mohiny & Lucas!!”

“I had to leave two dogs with Tata for two nights and she was awesome! I was a little worried because they can be difficult to handle sometimes but she was great and kept me updated the whole time. Thank you so much 😊”

“Jake had an amazing time with Yoda! She was super kind and clearly cares about the pets she watches. She asked lots of questions to get to know more about Jake and his specific needs. “Emily did an amazing job looking after Harley. We couldn't be happier with the care she provided. She sent us lots of photos and updates, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel that our girl was being very well looked after. Thank you so much, Emily, for taking such wonderful care of Harley. We truly appreciate it and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. 🐾”

“Catherine is truly remarkable. Her professionalism shines through, and Sophia absolutely adored her. She embraced her own vacation spirit while in Catherine’s care. I wholeheartedly recommend her!”

“Takes good care of pet. However, it is good note that she seems to take care of other dogs at the same time as far as I could ascertain … also, she has a very friendly golden retriever, which is good. My main tip to her is that she should take more videos and photos throughout the day of the babysat dog and interactions with her other dogs. Regardless of all the points mentioned above, the service isgenerally high quality. We would book her again.”

“Morgan took such great care of Ollie while we were away! He absolutely loved his stay, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. She kept us updated regularly with photos and messages, which we really appreciated and made it so much easier to enjoy our trip without worrying. It was clear that Ollie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. We would definitely book with Morgan again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter! ❤️”

“Brooke is absolutely bar none the most wonderful pet sitter I have ever had. My little one is crazy and she was calm and great with Brooke. Brooke was kind, accommodating and loving. 1000000% my furever pet sitter. I honestly think Luci wanted to stay with her.”

Sayali does an amazing job. It’s was our first time leaving our dog to go on a holiday. She took care of our little dog with a lot of love and affection. Always telling me everything that happened throughout the day. Our little dog loved being with Sayali and her family, including her sweet dogs. We are very grateful for all. ❤️🌷

Shelby did an excellent job boarding my dog, London, from Saturday to Sunday. She was communicative, reliable, and clearly comfortable handling dogs, which made the whole experience stress-free for me and London. Shelby sent timely updates and was easy to reach by text, so I always knew how London was doing, and he seemed relaxed and happy both during drop-off and pick-up—a good sign he was well looked after. Drop-off and pick-up times were respected, everything went smoothly with no issues, and I’d absolutely book Shelby again for weekend boarding and recommend her to other dog owners in London looking for trustworthy care.

Susan took amazing care of my dog, Alphie, for three days. She was very responsive and sent regular photo updates, which gave me great peace of mind. Alfie was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I really appreciated her kindness and professionalism, and I’d absolutely love to send Alfie to Susan again. Highly recommend. Thank you, Susan!“🐾

Vrutika was very responsive before and during Lily's visit! She was so patient, caring, and treated Lily as if she was her own. We were very satisfied with Vrutika's flexibility and once I was running later than expected to pick up Lily, she offered to drive us home and kindly adjusted the booking to reflect this. We will definitely use her services again!

Remi seemed to enjoy his time with Angela, who was the first person he has ever stayed with outside of family members. Angela told us that she enjoyed having Remi as well. Both she and her husband are lovely people. We will definitely request their services again if dog care is needed!

Alfred had a great time at Bradley’s!! He is a lovely safe spot for my son! Alfred is reactive and a lot for some to deal with but Bradley does a great job dealing with Alfred’s energy and needs while communicating with us the whole time! Due to Alfred’s large size (140lbs) and the fact that he’s not neutered it can be challenging to find someone that can handle him and Bradley does an excellent job! Thank you so much for watching our baby!!

Catherine is an amazing person who really loves what she do. I will definitely ask for her service whenever I need a long term boarding period for Vicky. I also confidently recommend her for anyone who needs the same service. Thank you Catherine for all the care and love that you provide to Vicky and we really appreciate keeping us posted with daily photos and videos.

My dog had a great experience with Tania! Her and her partner were very communicative and sent tons of pictures of our dog Chief while we were away. Love the daily updates. And even loved that before we booked for Tania that her and her partner took him for a couples hour to make sure everyone felt comfortable! Will definitely be using Tania’s services in the future!! Thank you so much 😊

Leslie & Richard were a boon for us and our Beagle, Maeve! We couldn’t have been more pleased to hear and see how she was faring in their care. This was our first time boarding our pup outside our home, but in all honesty, we felt their connection was meant to be … and our anxiety about leaving her for two weeks was quelled by their love and devotion. We wouldn’t hesitate one iota to leave Maeve in their watchful care again … she truly was pampered! For that alone, we’re forever grateful.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
