“Sayali took amazing care of our dogs-we could tell they loved their stay and felt right at home. I would definitely recommend Sayali and would have her take care of my dogs any day.”

“Loved the experience with Jennifer from start to finish. Love the fact that she only takes on two dogs at once aside from her own and gave me daily updates. My dog was much more relaxed and not stressed like when I used to pick him up at the kennel.”

“Hillary was great looking after Luna and it was a fantastic first time using this service. Communication was good with pictures sent each day. It was nice to see Luna having a fun time while in Hillary's care. We woukd definitely use her again.”

Wizard returned happy and well-exercised, clearly having enjoyed his time. Brad’s genuine love for dogs shone through, making this an excellent boarding experience. We highly recommend Brad’s services and will definitely use them again for future trips.”

“Yoda provided loving and responsive care for our dog. It was our first time using Rover and what a great experience. She is a great communicator and kept us informed of how Piper was doing. We will definitely have Yoda care for Piper again. It is clear she is a true dog lover and has created a very welcoming space for dogs to be in her care.”

“Catherine took care of our dogs like they were her own! We greatly enjoyed receiving photo and video updates every day, and were so glad that they had her own dog, Lovey, to spend time with. Would highly recommend!”
“Argento had a great time! It was so nice that you sent photos to show us how he was doing. He looked like he was smiling!! He got lots of walks and games of fetch - two of his favourite things. Thank you for taking such great care of him!”

Honey was with Janet for 3 weeks and we knew without a doubt that she was being loved and cared for beautifully. Thank you so much Janet!!”

“Michelle and her partner, Joel, were truly wonderful with my senior 16 year old Weimaraner. They jumped in to help with a medical issue and I left my dog with them with confidence. I was worry free. Michelle provides a loving, attentive and interactive experience. My dog was so content and happy. I think he is missing Puppy today! He was so well cared for he would have been happy to stay longer. I will be a repeat customer. I trust Michelle and her family with my “old man” and will trust her with future care. So rare to find this and I am so grateful!”

“Smita and Sushan are amazing 🤩 caretakers! Pookie loves being with them, and enjoys his time under their care. I would highly recommend them to other pet parents, they are approachable and responsible :) and have taken care of my furbaby at multiple occasions as I travel often outside the town!! Cheers xo”

“Alexandria hosted my dog, Enzo, for ten days while I was away on vacation in Mexico. He’s a very hyper, energetic boy and she took it in stride— even when he peed inside early on in the boarding. She sent a daily update with photos and he was his usual, happy self upon my return. I will definitely reach out to her again the next time I’m away and would not hesitate to recommend her to others. Thanks Alexandria!”

“Liz is amazing. I was nervous leaving my 12 week puppy for 10 days but there was no need to be. Liz is kind and calm and Elly-May was very well taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to everyone needing pet care.”

“Emily did an amazing job looking after Harley. We couldn't be happier with the care she provided. She sent us lots of photos and updates, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel that our girl was being very well looked after. Thank you so much, Emily, for taking such wonderful care of Harley. We truly appreciate it and would highly recommend you to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter. 🐾”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - London
Sayali took excellent care of our dog Daisy. Daisy sometimes misses us when we are away and at times has even almost stopped eating and drinking. She had no problems at all at Sayali's house! She loved playing in the back yard with the other dogs and slept and ate well. Sayali took great care of her, and sent us many photos, videos and updates which made us feel good to see our happy dog. Highly recommend!
Smita took great care of my dog. She kept me updated with photos and videos throughout the stay, which gave me peace of mind. I could tell my dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I would definitely book with Smita again and recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

This was my dog’s second time staying with Alexandria longterm while I was away on vacation. He became unwell mid-trip and she was quick to update me, took the day off work to monitor his condition, and took him to his vet. As a former Guide Dog Mobility Instructor and Rover sitter, I’m always so impressed with and grateful for her. I always trust she’ll take good care of my boy.

Thank you so much for taking amazing care of our pup! We felt secure knowing she was in great hands. Thank you for your great communication and flexibility! We also appreciate you being so accommodating! Would highly recommend and we will bring Lilah back in the future for more cuddles!!

We were worried leaving Dexter with a sitter as he is generally very oriented and has anxiety issues. Lynn put us at ease the first day we were away with pictures that showed Dexter was happy and well taken care of. He got lots of attention and walks .We are happy, and sure Dexter was happy with Lynn and her husband. We would defiantly use Lynn again.

This was the second time we booked Mozzie’s holiday with Susan. Our anxious fur baby fit right in. I think he remembered Susan and the many walks he had with her. Susan is very calm and gentle and that is just the right attitude for Mozzie. I will book with Susan again.

It was our first time using the Rover app, and we couldn't have lucked out more in finding Leslie and Richard to watch our dog while we were out of town for the weekend. They were so welcoming, kind and attentive, and sent lots of photos and updates. They truly catered to our dog the whole weekend and spoiled him with extra walks and treats. You can tell they really, really love dogs and treat your fur baby like their own. I would highly recommend Leslie if you are looking for a sitter in the future, and Troika is excited for his next visit! Thank you so much for everything-you truly made our trip worry free because we knew our little buddy was in such good hands.

Vrutika was truly the best! She took amazing care of our dog Ellie while we were away overnight. She was so kind and friendly, and kept us updated throughout with messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. Ellie came home so happy and clearly well cared for! We’re so grateful and would absolutely trust her again in the future. Highly recommend 🙂

Paul was everything we could have hoped for in a sitter. He was patient, caring, communicative and knowledgeable with Soma from the moment we dropped him off. He was accommodating with all of our dog's little quirks and even helped improve his walking skills. We will definitely be booking with Paul again due to it being such a pleasant experience!

Bradley was the best dog sitter yet! He provided amazing updates of my sweet son and was able to care for him and all his needs! Alfred can sometimes be a handful and I feel filled with pure joy that he got along with Bradley! I would recommend him to anyone and everyone and I’m so grateful that he was able to look after him so well! Thank you so much!!

Two nights boarding at Anna's for our 15 year old puppy. Thank you so much, Anna and Koji, for taking Yoda in last minute. We greatly appreciate the detailed care, on time updates and the pictures/videos you sent. We will be asking for your help again with future needs. Tony & Wei

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
